We have been working on deploying the latest Center for Internet Security Controls for MacOS (CIS Apple OSX 10.12 Benchmark version 1.0.0). We have found that Adobe apps are using the world writeable privilege. That security issue is addressed in CIS 5.1.1 Secure Home Folders5.1.4 Check Library folder for world writable filesWe have to write specific punch outs on the policy just for Adobe. None of the other applications rely on the world writeable permission in order to operate. Has anybody else run into this? More importantly has anybody else been able to fix it so that 5.1.1 and 5.1.4 are in full compliance?

I am a student at Savannah College of Art & Design. I have access to the creative suite as apart of my tuition dues. I am trying to download an Adobe stock template in InDesign but I get a message that says I dont have access to Adobe Stock. So maybe my school didnt give us access to Adobe Stock but it is free. shouldn't I still be able to download it if its free? Please Help!

Hello,I have recently tried installing Adobe CS3 Design Premium with their new installer on a Windows 7 Terminal Server. However each time I do that I get this error message: The machine recently had Web Premium which I uninstalled and used the tools available to clear the machine like the WinCS3Clean and the new CS5 Clean and neither have helped. I then tried installing Web Premium with the new Installer and that also gets the exact same error message.I tried looking in the installer logs and the only error message is the one above.I would link them but I don't see a place I can do that.Can you please help me with this as it is very urgent as people are not able to access Adobe CS3Thank you.

I was install illustrator a few days ago.Today I tride to use 'Stylize>Drop Shaodw' of illustrator CS5.But My illustrator have only 'Glowing Edegs...'.I tride to software update of illustrator, but failed. (Error Code : U41M1C213)I want to use 'Drop Shadow' of stylize.Please help me.

Originally me wife and I had one (free) CC account, and we both used it from the same computer. We use it to synch folders and files from our desktop and it has worked well - although it is getting full. Recently we tried to create two separate accounts, one for ´Steve´ with a dedicated e-mail address; and one for `Anne´ with a (different) dedicated e-mail address. We then deleted all folders and files from the Anne account. Now, when we log onto the web view, we are told that the Anne account is 94% full, despite the fact that it has NO folders and files.  When we log onto the web view we are told that the Steve account is 94% full (which it is) and it has lots of folders and files. It seems, somehow, that the two accounts ARE not separate. We thought of c~losing both accounts and starting again with two new ones, but are afraid that new accounts will not work with ols e-mail addresses and we don´t want to have to get new e-mail addresses just for this purpose. Any ideas?

Is there a way to make Adobe autoupdater invisible to users? Working with corporate system, was hoping this could be done in group policy but I don't see the option.

I received an email from Shomen Khasnobis asking if I an interested in consolidating the various cloud accounts we have purchased for our employees.  I love that idea, but I am suspicious this is a hacker. His customer service seems too good.  Is this a legitimate communication from Adobe?

My laptop was deactivated by mistake. I have contacted Adobe many times about this but still with no solution.I have reinstalled the CC package, but still it states that the device was deactivated. Multiple Adobe support personnel have completed these same steps using remote desktop software, and still no luck. I have even gone as far as to reinstall the operating system on my computer to factory issue, and still I receive the same message.   How can we reactivate CC software on a device that has been deactivated?

I would like to deploy After effects CC 2017 to a few PC's that were missed during initial deployment. I would like to use the same version that's installed throughout the rest of the lab, but it doesn't show up under archived versions. I can create a package with Current version (15.0), 2015, 2014, etc. but 2017(14.2) is not listed.

Is Acrobat DC2015 or other previous versions available to creative cloud team members?

Environment: K12 education, Windows 10, Azure AD, inTune MDMI applied for and received the link for Adobe® Acrobat Reader® DC Software distribution, but it downloads an .exe. We are distributing across our network using inTune which does not deploy .exe and requires an .msi. Is there an option to get this in an msi format?

How similar are Acrobat Pro DC 2017 and Acrobat Pro 2017 (boxed) under the hood, and what are the differences? Would the .admx and .adml GPO templates for Acrobat Pro DC work with Acrobat Pro 2017?

Had problems with a computer in a lab and the machine was re-imaged and the license was de-activated in the Adobe CC Admin Console.  The machine name is still listed in the De-activated License area, but we have all available licenses available that should be available.When SCCM installs the CC Package onto the client it installs successfully.  If you try and run Photoshop CC or another app it errors with the following:License DeniedThe license for Creative Cloud on this device has been denied.Please contact your administrator to re-serialize this device and add it back to the Complete pool.  If the administrator has already taken this step, please wait 15 minutes and try again.Not sure why we are getting this error?  Anyone know why?  The license is available, don't see why its not letting it activate.  Is it because the computer has the same name and is still in the de-activated section on the Adobe CC Admin Console?  It doesn't seem to be using a l

When logged into the local admin account on Windows 7 x64 where Acrobat Standard 2015 was installed, Acrobat opens PDFs in the browser in Protected View as I have configured it.  But when I logon to a domain account (accounts both with and without admin rights), the browser does not open the documents in Protected View as Reader does. Hi all,I am unable to connect to the CC Libraries through my CC Apps window panel in softwares e.g. photoshop. I encounter the error 'Unable to connect to server.'I suspect its due to a company network restriction as I am able to connect with my home network but I will require more details such as the port/server ip address the CC library window uses 'under the hood' so my IT colleagues can help to unblock it and create exceptions for.Where can I find this information?

Greetings:I am looking for a way, via GUI or command-line, to uninstall all instances of Adobe CC/CS at once, and not having to do so via individual uninstall packages. We are running MacOS Sierra presently, and we have a mixture of CC/CS products going back to 2015, all the way to 2017. We have about 120 workstations that we reimage yearly, and what I want to do is to have a single command/application to uninstall before we install CC 2018. The plan is to use Apple Remote Desktop as a way to uninstall en-masse. I searched around via Google and from within Adobe communities, and so far I don’t see a single command to uninstall all installed Adobe CC applications on the Mac side, though I do see it on the Windows side.I’d appreciate any assistance that can move me forward on this; thank you.V.
