OS: Windows 7 x64, SP1, Build 7601Application: Adobe Reader DCVersion:18.009.2004418.009.20050Issue: Multiple/if not all machines with either version of the software above has the black box for a mouse cursor issue. This occurs for either version, either type of NT profile being non-admin or full admin. -tried clean installation-tried repairs-tried adobe removal tool + manual reinstall-tried adobe removal tool + sccm install-tried clear recommended cache files from %appdata% directories-tried new NT profile-tried clearing all %appdata% adobe directories+HKey_cu>software>adobe-pdf thumnail previews is disabled by default>tried both>same resultsWe are upgrading to 18.009.20050 due to the existing issues with *44 and showing wingdings as characters on generated pdf reports. I see the mouse issue follows either version so figured I would inquire to see if there is a fix coming and/or solution in place? I found many old threads on this but none were useful. Thanks

How to deactivate Acrobat Professional DC2015 12.0 MLP AOO License when the old computer does not exist, so that it can be installed on another computer?
Hi all,Just wondered if you can help.At my work place we have a campus license for Adobe CC, the problem is that we are on a mac editshare solution and in the current setup we cant cross networks. So the macs are permanently connected to the edit share server and not the internet. This then causes issues with adobe every now and again because it cant connect to the adobe network to keep the license activated. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Thanks,Dan
Having a very similar issue....got a new machine running Win 7 Pro. Have not been able to get CC Desktop app to work at all, when it starts I get "Creative Cloud needs to Restart" then it does nothing. Now my apps are not opening either..Includes InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc...
We have Acrobat DC 2017 with volume licenses. On one of the installs, when launching the application a window comes up reading: :Unable to Validate Serial" number.I called support (if that's what you call it) After being transferred to 7 different people and verifying the account, I finally get to some guy named "Kaushik" who refuses to help me because he cannot validate the account. So I turn to the real experts, the user forum.
I have an enterprise all apps account, and have been surprised that I am no longer able to use Lightroom CC after a 30-day free trial.I phoned Adobe support, who confirmed that it wasn't available to enterprise accounts, but would be "coming soon".I am surprised to see then – at FAQ | Creative Cloud Photography plans – that, "Yes, Lightroom CC is available in Creative Cloud Team and Enterprise plans".So is it available? Or are existing plans in the midst of being transferred over, and I just need to be patient?
Or company has an ETLA License that we've normally used. But over the past few months our Purchasing department has been getting us Serials that are for "Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2017" - If I try the key on the DC Enterprise installer, it fails and tells me the Serial is for a Classic Build. If I download what I'm pretty certain is the Classic 2017 build - It works......So is this or is this not DC ?Document Cloud Product Tracks — Enterprise Administration Guide This document explains what the expected EXE's are for DC And Classic. The Serial which our purchasing department is certain is for DC, only works on the Classic. How would our purchasing department go about just allowing more users to use the ETLA License ? (We have an installer set up in SCCM and normally just deploy that way...but if a different serial ,for a diffferent version is being purchased, then we can't use that)I'm absolutely baffled.
We have a CC Abo with several licenses, for uns in DE and partners in FR and IT. Now we need Acrobat Pro DC licenses for China. Is this possible?
Hi,I am using Adobe cc 2015 (device license) and suddenly the license is terminated and I get a prompt to login. If you log in with an administrator account, it will be marked as trial product. What's the problem?
As the title suggests, I'm reaching out to others in the community managing large environments (several hundred to thousands of users/endpoints) to understand how they are (or have been) handling the transition from volume license/volume serialization keys to named user licensing or deployments (NUD).Our organization is federated with Adobe, licenses have been allocated and all that works well. But for the corporate environment the NUD process isn't silent. In fact, it's intrusive since a corporate user has to do something on a corporate machine in order to be allocated a license:User launches AcrobatSplash screen displayedAcrobat launches behind splash screenAcrobat closesAdobe Sign-in windowUser enters their user principal name (UPN)As soon as they press TAB or click into the password field they're redirected to the identity providerThere are 1-2 more redirectionsEventually the user is allocated a license and they click a button to complete it.Acrobat launchesI'm struggling to c
Is there a document, or even just a list of the changes please?I can't see anything other than a bit of a layout shuffle
Hi all! We've recently started using Manage Engine as a replacement to WSUS for Windows and 3rd party patches. One particular patch that we can't install is a critical one for Adobe Reader DC.We get something along the lines of "Error 1328. Error apply patch to file ****. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your software vendor."Ok - so it needs to be installed and updated via the same method - Manage Engine. So, rather than manually uninstall on 700+ PCs, I attempted to utilize Manage Engine to uninstall from just my PC as a test and got:"The file system does not support atomic changes to the lock type"Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
I have recently had a new Windows Server setup with IIS and I subsequently configured the AUSST tool on it to allow for internal Creative Cloud updates. This part seems to be running OK whereby I can connect to the URL successfully. It all fails when I am trying to configure the clients with the AdobeUpdater.Overrides file created using the AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool. One of my clients fails with the following content in the RremoteUpdateManager.log (note this is just a portion of it) - please see my questions at the bottom:05/24/17 08:39:24:964 | [INFO] | | AAMEE | Utilities | RemoteUpdateManager | | HDPIM | 7852 | Exiting hdpimDownloadProduct with status '0'05/24/17 08:39:25:964 | [INFO] | | AAMEE | Utilities | RemoteUpdateManager | | HDPIM | 5480 | Populating install data from Application JSON05/24/17 08:39:25:964 | [INFO] | | AAMEE | Utilities | RemoteUpdateManager | | HDPIM | 5480 | Sorting packages to install05/24/17 08:39:25:964 | [
Hello,We have a VDI environment with no Internet, I tried to do the steps to do offline activation and it worked, then suddenly I started getting the sign in pop up in some machines.
How to install on Mac computers. It often does not allow me to install on Mac computers, I need to speak to a technician.
I am needing to handle updates remotely and am wondering what the best way to go about this is. I am managing a high school Mac lab, and have 33 device assigned Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps packages. Thanks!
Merci d'avance
I have an existing key for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2017. The notes in our IT documentation says that this key is good for 4 activation's. I simply want to add another activation to this key. I want to be able to use this key for a 5th person. I am logged into the Adobe Licensing Website (LWS), I am looking at the information on this serial number but cannot see anywhere on the site or researching on the internet how to achieve this. I have always thought that Adobe licensing is confusing! Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,
The user is using a Mac.Device license users will be prompted for a password by unzipping the prtk file and typing sudo ./adobe_prtk --tool = GetPackagePools --provfile = prov.xml in theterminal, as shown in the following link.At this time, the password will not be entered. Is this normal? There is no further progress at this stage.please answer about my question.Reactivation of Archived machines in Device licensing
Recently my team moved from individual CC subscriptions to CC for Teams.I clicked the link in the Teams invitation email, which launched me to my Adobe ID pages, but there was never any message like 'Congratulations, you're now on the Team'.My individual subscription has been cancelled (with intervention of Adobe chat support).Adobe support mentioned that the Team plan was not visible on my account. How can I confirm that I'm on the team plan? As far as I can see, the company name / team name is not visible anywhere in the CC desktop app, or on my Adobe ID pages. The worry is that I'm in some kind of grace period, or trial period.I don't want to be left high and dry if that runs out.How can I be sure I'm actually on the CC Teams plan?If I was on the Teams plan, how would I know? How would I know which Team I was on?Thanks for any insights!
