hi, i create a file like described here :Disable auto-updates in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite 6 appsand saved as plain text. restart the machine. but in creative cloud app are still the update buttons. when i hit it, the update take place. is there any way to prevent the auto updates ? thank you !

I have just created a new package for Adobe CC.  I included Acrobat DC, but after installing the package, all the programs EXCEPT Acrobat DC install.  If it makes any difference, Acrobat reader is installed on the machine prior to trying to deploy the package. I've read that the new version of acrobat doesn't have to be deployed through the Exception Deployer.  Is this true?  After I built the package, there was nothing in the Exceptions folder.As a side note, I was able to get it to install by manually putting it in the exceptions folder and running it like that, but I'd like to avoid that, if possible.Thanks for your time!

We have an ETLA for Education license setup. I have had multiple professors contact me about options for getting discounted software/ providing software for students needing it for class for a single semester. Since you have to sign a 1 year agreement to get a student version of CC, this doesn't work for a lot of students that only need it for 6 months. I was looking online and found a couple of things that mention bring-your-own-device options for students, but can't find any detailed information about it. We haven't done anything with this type of licensing before, so we are at a loss. Does anyone have any information they can share with me about how this is setup, or how it typically works? Or, does anyone know of any way to allow students to purchase the CC for students option with a shorter contract?

It is not removing few Apps like After Effect, Illustrator whereas its cleaning the Application Support file, so we can not uninstall them by actual method.Is there a better solution.We have thought of listing all Adobe Files in Library, Application Support and deleting them.Any good solution welcomed. I’m using DC 15 Classic track downloaded from the LWS site.  I create a mst with the customization wizard and save the transform into the bootstrapper folder.  I can run it successfully using this command at the command line (need command-line since we deploy via Dell Kace):Setup.exe /sALL TRANSFORMS="AcrobatDC_LWS.mst"With previous versions (XI) we successfully used this string:  msiexec /i "AcroPro.msi" TRANSFORMS="AcrobatDC_LWS.mst" /qnIt will not work on my Windows 10 test VM only the setup.exe method.   Oddly the msi method works when I test it on real hardware locally.Any suggestions?  Its not mandatory that we get it to work this way just want to learn more about why it works or doesn’t work and why.Thanks!

Hi,I recently deployed Adobe Reader DC in my enterprise environment to around 1200+ users. We have around 400 users in this environment who are Adobe Standard XI, X or Adobe Professional X or XI users.Having deployed Adobe Reader DC this has now taken on default file association to open PDF's which has disgruntled the Adobe Acrobat (Standard and Pro users).Obviously to work around the issue we have manually set back their file association to either of the Adobe Acrobat products.My question is regarding customising the Adobe Reader DC package to disable PDF as default if earlier versions of Standard or Pro are found on the machine.Anyway, having read the customisation wizard document it states that the following property on the command line should resolve this issue....LEAVE_PDFOWNERSHIP=YESI have tried adding this property but it doesn't make a difference, is there anything else I need to change?Just to confirm, I am deploying Adobe Reader DC as a transform which was created in the DC

This article (Creative Cloud Help | Creating or editing packages) mentions that you must specify the install location at the command line in Windows for CC packages:Installation’s locationThe Application Manager offers you the following choices for the deployment location:Deploy to default application directory: The default drive is the system drive; the default path is \Program Files in Windows and /Applications in Mac OS.Specify directory during deployment: Allows the end users to specify the installation path during the deployment of the package. I have a small deployment of just two devices, so ran the package manager separately on both devices. Everything appeared to be good, then 30 days later it is now complaining about not having valid licenses. I created a new license file from the creative cloud packager, but it only gives .exe files to license products which doesn't help for macs. Also all the instructions just are for windows installs. How do I apply my device license to my Mac installs?

I was trying to turn off the Yearly Auto Renewal, I am paying for two years’ worth of service and I have only used Adobe for one month for school. Adobe said they sent me an email to let me know they plan to charge my card for my one another year contract, which I did not agree too. My guess your email was sent to my junk inbox. It is BS, that I cannot turn off Yearly Auto Pay. I thought Adobe was high tech, but this low tech billing. Get your act together and fix this problem.

I'm test a DC msi install with a transform and it will not install on my vm.  If I use: setup.exe /sALL it will install.  It will work with msiexec on my local machine! This is whats puzzling...thanks

It appears that the Extract tab from Creative Cloud is not working any more.The main (and only) reason to use Adobe cloud and not Dropbox was this feature.Now we have to re-export 20 projects as assets for R&D. what on earth were they thinking?!

I'm on CC shared space with a several other users. A particular file keeps reappearing  every time it's deleted or archived. I've tried removing it both locally and from the CC web interface. Please help! It's leading to confusion on my team.Thanks in advance.

I work in desktop support in a company where some users work with Adobe products           Ever since the latest update I have encountered this problem: Solution to the issue: Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries panel doesn't load in desktop products None of these solutions work I have tried them all. This problem has occurred on multiple computers after they implemented the update. Since I started trouble shooting what I have found is that it's not a network issue because once we take the computer off the domain it works via the network. What we're thinking is that is a group policy issue and maybe has to do with trusted sites list. What about the update would make this happen? Does anyone know specifically what the update changed?

I have a volume license for multiple end users, yet each end user's installation accepts only my sign-on credentials. This is a huge problem. I have been through this before, and the work around for this is a complex, time consuming uninstall and re-install using what is called the "Customization Wizard." There must be a better way. Where can I get this Customization Wizard? Can someone please provide a link?I

I am currently preparing to deploy Acrobat Pro DC for users and need to setup Enterprise ID's for our users. I am currently logged into the Enterprise Dashboard in the identity tab where the "Claim Domain" setup is supposed to be located as indicated in the below screen shot.However, below is the options I receive. No option to claim Domain and it is not in any other area either

I am upgrading my enterprise to Acrobat Standard/Pro 11.0 XI. I used the customization tool XI to create mst to deploy to the enterprise. we are upgrading from 9.x and 10.x to 11.0. I can deploy and it installs correctly. However upon launch it prompts immediately for serial key. I verified serial key is exactly the same as what's on out LMS corporate site. If I manually enter the serial key I get the same result. I have searched for corresponding documentation and read the admin guide online to no avail for solution. next steps? open a case or is it a simple fix?Regards.

Does anyone know if Adobe implements some sort of training services for companies using the Enterprise function? Either with an Adobe employee or a tutorial?
