The update option is grayed out or says needs admin access even from admin account. I've tried deleting the AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat file but it still will not update.

I keep running into this error when trying to use CCP.  This occurs when attempting to sign in with our Adobe ID and password.  I have tried deleting the opm.db from my AppData folder and relaunching CCP.  I have also uninstalled CCP and reinstalled but am still getting this same issue.  This is really getting to the point where I'm spending more time troubleshooting issues with CCP instead of actually using it.

Hi all, Recently we have installed the AUSST and now the clients can be upgraded to the latest CC applications. Everything works fine so far, but I have two questions regarding the usage of the RemoteUpdateManager tool:the --action parameter is not working, for example sudo remoteupdatemanager --action=list returns the error code Unrecognized option : --action  is there a verbose mode? I am opening now from time to time the RemoteUpdateManager.log to see what the progress is. Thanks for help and best regards, Matthias

We want to install only Adobe Acrobat DC on certain users computers, not any other creative cloud program. What are the proper steps to do this on the Windows platform?I am aware that when we install Adobe DC with other programs such as Photoshop, we install it from the exceptions folder, through the command line, prior to installing the main Creative Cloud MSI.But, in this case, there will be no other programs. Please give me step by step instructions on how to properly download from adobe and install.Thank you.

I have tried to use MSIEXEC to install the AcroRead.msi via a batch file. This doesn't seem to want to install quietly without user interaction. Has anyone been able to deploy this quietly? Can someone help me out with this?

I am looking to setup automatic updates (Windows) for Creative Cloud on over 1000+ workstations and was wondering a few things:- How often are updates generally released?- How big is a general update?- What risks are involved with automatic updates?- What type of updates are generally released?I will be running C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE_Enterprise\RemoteUpdateManager\RemoteUpdateManager.exe in a scheduled task using the SYSTEM account so there will be no user interaction.

Hello...I'm the past I have deployed Adobe Acrobat DC by opening Creative Cloud Packager, selecting Creative Cloud for Enterprise, Create Package.  I select Adobe Acrobat DC and create the package.From here I would use the customization took and go into the Exceptions folder and edit the .MSI.  Then I would push it out using Dell Kace.  After it installed I would push out the .MSI in the Build folder for registration.After updating my Creative Cloud Packager, I created the package but noticed the Exceptions Folder was empty.  The Acro.msi is now in a setup folder in the Build folder.  I want to customize the .MSI and deployment it out to my school district.  Did something change now for the Exceptions Folder to be empty and how to I deploy it out to my organization?

HiI'm modifying the installer using the Customization Wizards and would like to add a SharePoint site account.I know i can add the site manually after installing the reader by going.. Home > Ad Account > Add Microsoft SharePoint. but I have 80 users and would like to integrate it.Is there a way to add SharePoint site account to the Customization Wizards, i could not find it.Thanks

I'm having an issue with multiple users complaining about slow scrolling speeds when scrolling through a document in Internet Explorer.  We are using the add-in for IE so it opens within a frame of the browser.  We are using IE 11 and this has occurred on Adobe 10 and 11.  We now have Adobe Acrobat 11 on all our servers.I have done the following items:Re-installUpdatesVersion UpgradeThis isn't an issue on local workstations.

Hi All,One of our customer is using multiple languages on a RDS environment, and we have a GPO in place that changes the windows server 2012R2 language setting to either English or Dutch based on 2 security groups a user can be in.Based on this, we would like Adobe Reader DC to use the option to take over the language from the OS and open in English or Dutch.I have tried to amend regkeys as follows in a new GPO, based on the regkeys as they are with the settings for the language in the application:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\Language\current = acrord32.dllHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\Language\next = acrord32.dllBut I cant seem to get it working.I have searched the internet and that only comes back with installing the application using GPO's.I also have used this link:Adobe Reader 11 has landed with GPO ADM templatesI have imported the template but it is completely blank and I can't find any documentation regarding the language.Any help would

Why doesn't the Creative Cloud Packager support true multilingual installations?? The same as the Acrobat customization tool where it allows the user to chose the language at the time of installation.  It's a huge complication to have to download all Adobe apps in many languages to support a global company.  This feature would be a HUGE improvement to the Adobe  deployment process.

I want to create a serialization file to avoid my machines that is been deployed in my labs with AdobeCC to have to login to Adobe site when you open a App. I need a working link for the app “Creative Cloud Packager” I tried to download from “licensing2.adobe.com” but under deploy option under the download section I do not have the app on the site http://prodesigntools.com/ I got a version but I could not download it with Chrome or IE was eventually able to download via Firefox But during the install process it error out. When I went to https://aedash.adobe.com/ it also error out with access denied Error. I was in contact with Adobe tecnical arawat@ support and he eventually log into my machine via Bomgar he but was also unsuccessful with the app. He told me I must use a different Network which I did last night from Home using my PC and my own Network but got the same problem.

We are using Adobe Reader and Adobe Pro version 11.0.06, Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, with a mixture of MS Office 2010 and 2013.We have been able to reproduce a bug using Reader/Pro together with Excel, where Reader/Pro freezes when we preform the following tasks.Open an Excel file where a PDF file is attached as an object in the spreadsheetDouble click and open the PDF file attached, PDF is opened in Adobe Reader/ProFrom Adobe Reader/Pro, click on the document on the Page Thumbnails, scroll the document up and down for a few timesClose the Adobe Reader/Pro, it freezes and the adobe process is starting to consume the system memoryThis problem is happening on multiple machines with Adobe Reader/Pro 11.0.06 installed, regardless of the Office version and is reproducible. We did not see such issue on Adobe X.Is there anyone reported the same?

Hello,a costumer has a VMware View environment with about 30-40 VMs.We want to deploy Adobe Acrobat DC for a couple of users (not all users).So I installed Adobe Acrobat DC costumized with the Adobe Costumization Wizard (Grant offline exception activated) on the masters and desired to regulate the access rights with an AD group and per GPO.My problem is that, in the moment of deployment of the masters, VMware View performs a sysprep on the machines which results that Acrobat DC looses his activation.In addition the VMs are "refreshed" after each logoff of a user.What would be the best way to deploy Acrobat DC in our environment?Thank you in advance.Best Regards,Jonathan Jacobs

Hello,Running the RUM seems to remove device licenses and forces users to login with valid accounts. The device licenses were fine before running this update.How does one run RUM without wiping out the device licenses? Earlier RUM sessions did not damage whatsoever to the Suite.(Windows 7 x64)Our CC package installer was built WITHOUT the CC App so that users would not update CC on their own, since it seemed to cause the same issue.

Hello all,I have an automated process that runs an application on a Windows 7 system where it is reading from a database, gets the drawing file, opens it using an ActiveX control then print it using the Adobe Acrobat installed on that system.Are there licensing concerns that I need to resolve as a result of this type of usage?Thanks,Bob

Dear Forum Members,I am using a Mac 10.9.5 to create CS6Install.PKG with the help of AAMEE 3.1 and CS6 Master Collection Installation Media "MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg". In the build process, since we chose the option "ignore the errors and continue installation", the AAMEE finished build with no errors. It created the build folder with both install and uninstall pkg. However, when I test the pkg and ran it on the same Mac, it won't install. I have both the installation log and PDApp.log but haven't attached here yet unless any of you would bother to look at it.On the same computer, I can install the CS6 with no issue using "MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg"My goal is to use the pkg and upload to Casper to deploy. I am not going that far yet since it is not even working locally.Appreciate any helps!Thank you very very much.
