Enhance export System  and Adobe Uix/Ui Response , User Friendly, Remove Preload Camera Setting  lightweight, 4k Video / Image Playback issue And Lagging, Export 4k Video 1 minute , Render 1h32 min Why Fucking Adobe Teams

There are several columns in the project panel that are rarely seen/used by a large portion of users. More may be visible and become useful, if some were condensed. It’s not a huge improvement, but eliminating the ‘label’ column by combining it with the folder icon would be helpful. The current MacOS changes the folder color when you label it with a tag/type. That UI improvement would be a great implementation (similar to how markers can be colored in a timeline) so that we can color code the folder/comp icon directly rather than have color set to the side in a separate column. 

Have been wanting this feature for a long time, it's been great for Premiere, and would love to see the same implementation in After Effects. We don't need to be able to collaborate in Ae in my office, but we often pass projects around, and this would save a lot of time hunting down people to make sure no one has the project open and we don't write over each other's work if we need to jump in and change a lower 3rd or something.

Please add safezone options for current social media platforms to After Effects and Premiere!99% of the videos I create professinally are for social media campaigns, yet there are only guides in AE for broadcast safezones.

I'm a learner, but I'm pretty sure it is not supposed to work like this. First off, I'm on Windows 11 using the most updated version of AE. To the best of my knowledge, the settings in my AE are the default, "fresh out of the oven" AE settings. The issue: I had made a simple track matte animation and was exploring with the pre-comp feature. The animation itself was a very simple move-from-position-A-to-position-B animation and there was a matte applied to it so that it would appear to scroll into a selected region. Now, I had precomposed this and selected a region of interest in the new precomp. After deciding I didn't like the region I had selected, I hit ctrl+Z. That undid the animation though, not the last action performed that was the selected region of interest. I can fiddle around with this and get back to the original state it was in, but is this how it's supposed to work? I guess I could see it, but it seems rather incovenient.

We really need improved and reliable audio playback. I am struggling right now on a project that needs precise audio syncing and the audio stops or stutter or disappear even on a full-green timeline.We’ve lived with this for years, I think it’s time to give the audio playback some attention, it’s a very important part of every project and must be reliable. So I’d like to see: improbed audio playback and maybe some audio improvements like some way to quickly manage audio transitions/fades (no keyframe at -60db anymore please!) or some way to add automation with points in the waveform for quick audio editing directly in after effects like in NLE editors. Also waveform loading and display can be improved (now very slow and not very clear waveform).I hope one day I can stop to rely on premiere for all the audio editing and do most of the job direcly in after effects. Now it’s not reliable enough. 

Align to the middle (vertically) doesn't work with masked video (AE 26)

AE expressions currently support the following interpolation types: linear, ease, ease in and ease out.To provide better control over the easing curve, I propose implementing an additional interpolation type: Bezier. A matrix of 4 values would be used to define a cubic bezier (similar to how this is handled in CSS animation) Something like this:bezier(t, tMin, tMax, value1, value2, [0.4, 0.14, 0.3, 1]) A nice little enhancement, which would allow greater creative control over expression based animation. Thanks for your consideration.

Please add an Audio effect for volume so we can apply it to an adjustment layer and effectively control volume of layers below. I often create an AUDIO MIX comp with a plethora of v/o layers chopping up audio voice files and sometimes we get low audio files from sound studio… so being able to adjust all at once within that comp would be great. And before someone says “Adjust the comp in the master comp” yes, would be great if I didn’t have 27 master comps of videos using the same AUDIO MIX….

The current CC Composite (v2.0) requires manually specifying a “Top Layer”, but I’d like to request the option to use the previous version (v1.10)’s behavior, where the effect automatically composites the layer’s own original image.The old version worked fully self-contained, which made it much more practical for effect presets, templating, and layer duplication workflows.While the new version is more flexible, needing to reassign the Top Layer every time is a real bottleneck for reusability and efficiency.If possible, please consider:- Keeping or making the legacy CC Composite behavior selectable- Or allowing expressions like `thisLayer` in the Top Layer selectorThank you for your time and consideration.

Keyboard shortcuts can already be used to run scripts but they are assigned by index, not name, and are limited to the first 20 scripts in the Scripts folder. If you assign a keyboard shortcut to a script called 'Very Important Script.jsx' and later add another script called 'Another Script.jsx' to the Scripts folder, the keyboard shortcut gets unseated because A comes before V.  Now the shortcut fires whatever script was before Very Important Script in the list of scripts. This is confusing behaviour for most users and is not well documented. It's especially bad because it seems to work by name, until it doesn't. There are a number of videos out there (from very reputable sources), which show users how to assign shortcuts to scripts, but don't explain this issue. Ideally, scripts would be assigned shortcuts by filename, and all the scripts in the Scripts folder would be available. I really wish to have a fast and native light wrap plugin in After Effects. This tool is essential in compositing.

Hello Adobe After Effects Team,I would like to suggest adding a small “Swap Dimensions” button next to the Width and Height fields in the Composition Settings.For example, if the composition is:Width: 1920 px Height: 1080 pxClicking the button would instantly swap them to:Width: 1080 px Height: 1920 pxThis would be especially useful when quickly converting a composition between landscape and portrait orientations, without having to manually type both values.A simple button with a ↔ or ⇄ icon next to the Width/Height fields would make this workflow much faster and more convenient.Thank you for considering this feature

I work in digital creative production and regularly need to loop short pre-comps (e.g. a 16-frame frame-by-frame sequence) across a longer main comp. This is one of the most common tasks in animation, yet After Effects still has no simple way to do it.The current workarounds are Time Remapping with loopOut(), custom expressions, or duplicating the layer and using Sequence Layers. All of them are fiddly and easy to get wrong. The default Time Remap setup even puts the end keyframe one frame past the last frame of the pre-comp, which produces a blank frame on every loop unless you know to fix it.What made this far worse: I spent a long time troubleshooting a blank frame in my main comp that turned out to be the cache. The loop was working correctly, but After Effects kept displaying a stale blank frame through multiple edits and setting changes. Freeze first layers on timeline (like you can do on excel/sheets) so you can reach them quickly even at the bottom of a 150 layer composition)

Sometimes freezing a rotoscope demands minutes, and you use that waiting time for something else. It would be very useful hearing a notification when rotoscoping it’s over so you can continue working

If I have folder that has nested folders, images, footages, audio files.it would be nice that I can select the folder and after effects handles what’s inside it.it can skip unsupported files.the result will be a folder inside the project panel with nested folder and footages with the same names.of curse, it can be done using scripting, but having it as a native import option I think it is more professional.I hope to see this small feature in the next update.These small details what will make after effects better, Thank you!

Imagine how awesome it would be to be able to “Apply transforms” to Null object (like in, dare I say: BLENDER 3D), to retain the shape but reset the Scale property. 

Really simple one - Illustrator has recently added a ‘Copy’ button next to the Hex code in the colour palette. I’d love to see the same thing in AE!Most brand colour work I do uses Hex values, so something like this to speed up copying values would be great for quality of life - the saved clicks would add up.Adding it next to the colour pickers in the Effects and Properties panel would be very welcome as well - bringing it as close to the surface as possible. As well as any other places I’ve not thought of 😂 

Most DLCs and other compositing software support OCIO 2.5+ configs now and it would be nice for After Effects to support them as well in the Custom OCIO Configuration. A popular example: Using Blender 5+ OCIO configs in After Effects.

When After Effects enacts an auto-save, the auto-save window should not appear if the user is currently using another program. For example, I was in the middle of a complex selection in Photoshop when the After Effects Auto save window popped up over the work I was in the middle of. I was unable to see my cursor until the auto-save window disappeared so I had to stop was I was doing and wait. I don’t think it’s necessary for an After Effects alert to encroach on the screen of another program being used.

Здравствуйте, хотелось бы видеть на сайте адекватные переводы с английского на русский и украинский языки, особенно это касается справки  "After Effects Help" то есть обучающие и помогающие материалы. Особенно на украинском языке где перевод справки отсутствует как таковой,  а при переключении на русский постоянно появляется уведомление о смене региона что к проблеме не относится. Ну вот я захожу в справку, она на английском, хотя язык выбран украинский, самое простое это переключить язык на русский НО такой функции нет, есть только смена региона на россию, а зачем мне менять регион если я в Украине. Я хочу иметь возможность получить нужную информацию о приложении за которое я заплатила на укр. языке (потому что он то заявлен, он прописан, но сам перевод отсутсвует) не заморачиваясь с переключением на регион который пришел в мою страну с войной. Я даже могла бы предложить вам помощь с переводом на добровольных началах.

Motion Tracker has an issue tracking a time-manipulated layer. Make a Right-click → Render in Place before it’s too late. Pre-compose - Render - Import - Replace is 90s level solution.

Hoje em dia descobrir qual plugin está consumindo memória e CPU e gpu é impossível, se tivesse um painel onde pudéssemos ver separadamente quanto cada plugin usa poderíamos saber quem é o causador da falta de memória ou uso excessivo de gpu ou cpu

Many years ago it was possible to import AAFs directly into After Effects with Automatic Duck. Now the workaround is to import the AAF into Premiere and then open the premiere project in After Effects. I would love the ability to start my compositing without the circuitous import process.
