iPad has become my default device for editing in Lightroom. Since Denoise was introduced, though, iPad has become less useful to me until files have been denoised.Having denoise occur in the cloud would solve this issue. Adding other processes to the cloud such as Merge and Generative Upscale would make iPad even more useful for editing with Lightroom.
I’d like to compare 2 photos side by side in Lightroom Mobile (on iPhone), but there’s no way to do that. Also, when you swipe from one photo to another, it would be great to have an option that if you click on the side instead of swiping, you go to the next photo without a transition, which would do the same as clicking your keyboard’s arrow on PC. HashPhotos (a free app) has already did that, so I think it’s just natural that Lightroom, at the cost people pay to use it, adds the feature. It would greatly help comparing photos effectively.
Enjoying the new CC for the most part, but one of the concerns I've got so far is that some of my most-used keyboard shortcuts have been changed. For instance, I used to quickly cruise through new imports and use the Pick flag shortcut to find my selects. This used to be a very intuitive key—P—but in LR CC it's now...Z. And there's no way that I've found to change it back.Could we please have configurable keyboard shortcuts? Or at least some sort of legacy mode so our muscle memory is still effective in the new environment?
I would love to be able to change the background color of the Lightroom Mobile interface while I'm editing an image. Working freelance and traveling a lot and commuting, I use my iPad a lot to make adjustments so I can save time. Several of my jobs have required me to have backgrounds close to white but without being white (specifically e-commerce photos). Even though I'm using the clipping mask to see my white and black points, it would still be nice to have a white background during those projects to make sure I don't make my models look like they're floating in the middle of nowhere. It would be one more step I could get done before even getting to the studio! Thanks!
It’s getting more and more useful to use LR mobile with the iPads Pro power. But i don’t understand why the “copy” and “paste” setting is sitting behind the submenu (three dots menu). Please just give us two buttons to copy / paste in the edit window without clicking every for each photo an extra menu. With a keyboard it is pretty useful top use the Keyboard shortcuts, but with the keyboard we lose the perfect touch and pen option.Just these to button to copy / paste the edits faster would be super cool.Cheers!
It would be nice if I can select lens profiles on the Lightroom mobile app. (For mount adapter users)
I would like an option for adding a watermark AND a border to an image when exporting. This is already a feature that's available on Lightroom mobile for android so I don't see why it can't also be added to iOS
I still have my old iPad 7 and it has a previous version of Lightroom that still utilizes full screen crop mode. When it was taken away, i figured it would come back in a future update as a 'new feature'. The mobile app is the very reason I started using Adobe products. Since the removal of full screen crop, I've had to spend upwards of 5-10 minutes, sometimes, trying to crop my images properly. Honestly, I don't know why I have to request such a simple feature that we already had while, instead, getting magic wands that do nothing for professionals. If this is too difficult of a task, could you at least completely black out the shadowed edges AND remove the thick white corners?
Feature request: Display live auto-selected shutter speed and ISO in Lightroom camera In the Lightroom camera (Pro mode) shutter speed and ISO can each be set to either Auto or a specific value. Current behaviour:If I set ISO manually, the interface shows the shutter speed the camera selects. If I set shutter speed manually, the interface shows the ISO the camera selects. However, when both ISO and shutter speed are set to Auto, neither value is shown. The selected values are also not shown when adjusting exposure compensation. This means that when using full Auto exposure it is not possible to see what shutter speed or ISO the camera is choosing before taking the photo. Please display the live metered shutter speed and ISO even when both are set to Auto, updating continuously as the meter changes. These are fundamental exposure parameters that most physical cameras display at all times. An even better implementation would be to display and lock the metered exposure values when the shu
I have several collections in Lightroom Classic on my desktop computer that are sorted in a custom order and sync to Lightroom Mobile. The order displays correctly in LR Mobile app on both my iPhone and iPad. But when I want to view the pictures on the LR app on apple tv, the sort order is not correct, even when i select "custom" on TV screen option next to the photos, Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.
The restriction seems arbitrary. We should be able to do it. Same with “Recently Added”
As seems to be typical of Adobe, they will implement a “feature” that completely breaks things used previously. In Adobe Lightroom, I would like to request the “feature” of filenames in the custom filename field of the export settings to carry over the history of the most recently used name. This feature I am requesting is how this has worked for years, until the most recent “update”. It would be nice to not have to competely retype or copy and paste every time I export. While you are at it, it would be a nice new feature to have a choice of custom set phrases I can click to “paste” what I would normally type in. IE: “set x” “item x” “branded” “ unbranded” etc. for use in a setting where one shoot will yield multiple photo sets to export with specific naming. It would also be thoughtful to have a toggle to allow LR to automatically add an incremented number in these custom phrases.
After loading the photos from your SD card in the app, there should be a way to display the ratings selected in cameras. This way you would be able to select to import those photos you already know are good for work and development. I always rate the best photos I took in camera before start editing, because this way I can import them to Lightroom and save time working only in those I’ve ranked.
Applying more than one watermark simultaneously during a single export pass will be usefull in Adobe Lightroom Classic. Alternatives like plugin LR/Mogrify 2, needs rosetta on Mac and rosetta will be phased out soon.
I know that Lightroom allows me to move Presets to a different Group / Folder on an individual basis, but I have hundreds of Presets spread across multiple Groups. I would like the ability to select multiple Presets to be able to move them to a different folder in bulk.
Hi there. I'm left-handed and i would like to use de Lightroom Mobile app as a left handed person, so i need to put the adjustment bar and another features to de left side of the screen of my tablet. Can anyone help me with that? {Thread title edited by moderator}
When creating a Smart Album, the only boolean operator when using different search rules is AND. Other options typically available for computer searches are OR and NOT. This is what I would like from a smart album in LrD:People = John DoeORKeyword = John Doe However, this is the only option available now:People = John DoeANDKeyword = John Doe Attached is a screenshot showing AND being the only way to create a Smart Album when there is more than one rule.
this is available on desktop, should be pretty easy to add for iPad. the big reason to use LR and PS is the easy integration, we desperately need this in LR iPadOS
写真の回転が時計回りしかできないのは不便です。毎回、ボタンを3回押さなければなりません。反時計回りのボタンを作ってください。
Under “Distraction Removal,” the desktop version of Lightroom has automatic detection of dust spots (and other things, but that’s not why I’m writing in):This is an extremely useful time-saving feature.Unfortunately I do most of my editing on the go on an iPad Pro and these edits don’t transfer over to your photos when you view them on the iPad version of Lightroom. You’re invited to “update AI edits,” where the app tells you essentially that there’s a version mismatch between the canonical photo (w/ dust removed) and the one your iPad can load (because it doesn’t support dust removal), and tells you your only choice is to take away the dust removal:This is really bad for users and not how cloud software should work. My iPad has an M4 in it; it’s more powerful in performance terms than my desktop computer. At a minimum you should allow read-only loading of dust removal on the iPad. Please implement this on the iPad!
Hello Adobe Team! I´m the Chairman of FREELENS, a professional association for photographers in Germany with over 2000 members. We are currently dealing with the question of how we can protect our photos from being used as training material for AI image generators without authorisation. In Europe, this requires a machine-readable objection. The IPTC organisation has created a standard for this in the metadata:https://iptc.org/news/exclude-images-from-generative-ai-iptc-photo-metadata-standard-2023-1/There is therefore a "Data Mining" field in the metadata according to the IPTC standard with which you can object to data mining. However, this field cannot be filled out in either Lightroom or Photoshop; I have already been in contact with the support team about this.I would ask you to set this up as quickly as possible, as it is very important for us to be able to object in a legally secure manner. It would also be very helpful if we could talk about these issues and you could give me t
As in Classic, I would like to create a Smart Album of “Most Recent”, using the parameter “Last X months” or “Last X days”. Currently, we are limited to specific dates; e.g. “16 December 2025 to 16 February 2026”, which requires constant updating.
Feature Request: Integration of Masking Selections into Generative RemoveThe ProblemCurrently, the Generative Remove tool operates in a silo. Even if a user has already generated a precise AI mask (e.g., Select Subject, Select Sky, or Objects) within the Masking panel, they must manually re-brush that same area using the Remove tool’s independent brush. This leads to: Redundant Effort: Painting a mask twice for the same object. Inaccuracy: Manual brushing is often less precise than the AI-powered "Select Subject" logic, leading to poor Generative AI fills. Proposed SolutionIntroduce a "Convert Mask to Remove" bridge. This could be implemented in two ways: From the Masking Panel: Add a "Remove with Generative AI" option to the "..." menu of any existing mask layer. Within the Remove Tool: Add a "Use Existing Mask" button that allows users to pick a selection (like Subject or Sky) as the source for the Generative Remove brush. Use Case ExampleA photographer wants to remove a distract
Please, please, please add the color calibration tool into Lightroom mobile! I've mostly converted to editing on the iPad, but darn... just can't do without that tool for setting a global style to my images.
I added thousands of photos (other than those in Synced Catalogs) and now I cannot differentiate them other than by the standard filters provided because I have used color labels to identify certain criteria. Color labels are just as important as Flags, Please add them!
