I work for a production company that uses a slate template built in EG and I wish there was a way to automate the text within the slate EG layer. I get that we have the metadata burn in effect but I would like to make this even more flexible by bringing those automated text fields into EG.  On a slate typically you need to put in: ClientProject/series/franchise etc. Seqeunce Namenotes total run timeDate  I'm guessing there is a way to automate some of this stuff in AE but would be nice to add some basic metadata driven data fields within PrPro for workflows that always need to add a slate.  Something likeText field <DATE>Text field <duration>Text field<seqeunce name>etc.  

I was editing a video in premiere pro with braw footage, then when i wanted to proceed editing on a different system the clips were offline. This was because the braw plugin wasn't installed on this system. Maybe a simple error message saying the braw plugin isn't installed is an easy way to know what's wrong rather than a basic "the importer reported a generic error" message.

Can I add a submenu under the Windows menu using PR Plugin SDK? Clicking on the submenu will bring up third-party programs or custom dialog

So I'm using the text-based editing AI, which needs improvement for multiple speakers. I'm working on a documentary and it keeps putting two speakers under one speaker category. It's also not really detecting the different speakers I have 6 other people it put them down as only 2 speakers. If anyone has any solution for the text-based AI grouping multiple speakers under one category let me know. 

The ability to tag selected tracks on an export panel would be a great feature for Premiere Pro.Especially when exporting texted and textless exports. It would also mitigate the need for unnecessary duplicate sequences. For instance, when exporting a given sequence the export window could add an advanced drop-down (say in effects) tab of the export window, for specific track targeting solo-ing or specific labelled tracks. This could be listed as exclude or include: ( then select from the drop down ). An example could be: Include (all clips with red labels **and only export those clips from the sequence**)   or  Exclude (audio track 3 **which could be a music track**) or using ',' or commas to create more complex setups such as: Exclude: (audio track 3, Video track 6, video track 2, all clips labelled yellow) The benefit of this export feature is it would allow a much more efficient workflow, especially with client projects that req

A simple way to batch export all the clips off a simple timeline that has basic adjustments applied such as either stablization or simply speed change. I often deal with social media based demands where clients would often want a large delivery of clips / footage shot that their social media teams can put together on a reel however those clips needs usually basic adjustments such as a trim, or a speed range (60fps on 24 timeline for example). So far all the solutions produces rendered clips without any settings applied.

The Remix tool is a great instrument in Premiere Pro but it works only for short music sequences (remixes). Suppose I have a 10 minute-video and I need it to be accompanied by one single music track. If I use the remix tool it just multiplies some the-AI-knows-what part of the music, frequently making the whole track sound A WAY TOO repetative and monotonous, omitting the drops (it's a musical term), intros and other important parts. If it is a song the tool makes it one verse-with--a-chorus loop for the rest of the sequence. What I suggest is to give a user the opportunity to chose between two modes the tool will work in - one is the super-duper AI-mode which is used now, and the other - a sequential looping of the music track with an AI-crossfading (gradual blending) of the end and the beginning of each track which right now I do manually preferring this approach to the Remix AI. This will make the whole remixed track sound much more diverse.Adobe, please think about it. 

It's a common practice to record voice overs outside of Premiere Pro. I do it in Audition, and I am able to export one file per one premiere caption. And so I wish there were a one-click way to add markers at the very first frames of captions. So that I can have a workflow that instantly marks the captions, onto wich i can automate the voice over files.Does this make sense to you?

Please add a Default preset and the ability to add and recall caption presets!  Irratating to add a new caption and have to modify each new caption to have Opaque Black Background, etc. every time!Thanks!

Make Delete Empty Tracks  a) Available as a keyboard shortcutb) Make it available on right click instead of a separate context window, this box could just as easiy be a couple of context menu commands instead of a separate dialog box... Add - > Delete Empty video tracksAdd - > Delete Empty Audio tracksAdd - > Delete all empty tracks  To this menu.    

I'd love to see a button on the Premiere home page that can get us straight into the "Open Production" window. It's great that the Productions appear in the "Recent" panel in the center of the page, but that panel is also populated by all the individual projects within those productions that have been opened, which can quickly push other Productions off the front page. Currently, the options are "New Project," "Open Project," "New Team Project," "Open Team Project," and "Open Premiere Rush Project." While these options are great, a Production-centered workflow renders them all but useless. Eager to hear everyone else's thoughts or current workarounds.

This is something so simple but would be extremley helpful. Similiar to photoshop, if you click and drag in the corner of the frame, you would get a crosshair where you can "set you 0". This is help in measuring distances, centering certain elements, etc. 

Please enable 'custom' frame rate option on export settings, so that users who are editing for example source footage coming from 8mm or 16mm based on frame rates like 16fps or 18fps,can export them to such frame rates or other.you can check the thread here:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/export-18fps-sequence/td-p/10486209?page=1

As a mouse-person, I would very much like to see a trashcan for quick deleting assets instead for rightclick>clear.    

I have quite a few essential graphics animations titles and lower thirds, MOGRT files. I love the EGP so far, however the fact that I have to click and drag any template or asset I have onto the timeline in order to see them is quite the chore. If I have 100 and I am trying to choose a lower third appropriate to my video, It takes forever to click and drag. I have seen many people making a project file that has all the animations in peoples libraries and they open that project to view and select them then go back to thier previous project and drag the appropriate one... This is crazy slow.  a better alternative would be to hover over to see the animation preview, or a small playbar at the bottom of the animation, or even a click to open up the MOGRT file in a new window to preview it. something anything to be able to review them

Hello, Wouldn't it be great if Premiere generated thumbnails for each clip in Icon View.Instead of each time I open the Window in Icon View it starts reading again the files and I have to wait until it loads the thumbnails?

i usually use avid media composer for the editing but i want to try working with premiere pro. I work with the television so my clips are .mxf files and they have multiple audio tracks. At the end of the shooting i create a sequence with all of the clips that i shoot and i put this sequence in the source monitor so i can choose from this panel what i need and put it in the timeline where i edit my final product. When i am in playback in the source monitor i need to see all of the audio tracks of my sequence so i can change the levels of the audio tracks, i can play in solo just one track etc. With premiere pro 2017 this was possible and i cannot understand why i cannot do this anymore in the new versions. The problem is very specific with just the sequences (in playback in the source monitor and not in the program monitor) because if i put just a single multichannel audio clip in the source monitor i can see all of the audio tracks. When I have people using acronyms or uncommon words, it would be really helpful to have the trancscription engine to be trained to recognize those words. Perhaps an AI tool might be the best approach.Many of the projects I work on have non-standard words and spellcheck/replace is overwhelming for logistics efficiency:• Indigenous phrases or words within English• Governent/Corporate Acronyms (there are sooooo many)• Science and Technology• Environment • Arts & Entertainment (actors names, etc)I would be happy to have a zoom meeting with devs to discuss these options.

I would like a larger fontsize for the transcriptions in the text panel.  I have moved the lower right slider all the way  up (to the right).  I have changed the font size for the UI interface. Lou

here's a picture of my microphone's distance when I'm doing voice overs. It would help me a lot if the font size were like teleprompter BIG. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only customer who has poor eyesight. I'm sure would help others too. The font size slider can only go this far. 

When you resize the Lumetri Scopes panel, it should rearrange the different scopes to fit the size of the panel. So a tall narrow window would automatically put the scopes in a vertical arrangement.

When you go to the Opacity Settings on a clip and attempt to change its blend mode from Normal, it would be great for the Program Window to show the affected change (if it were clicked) when it's hovered on. This has been around since 2019 on Photoshop and I didn't realize it wasn't adopted in Premiere.  I sure wish we could have it.  What a quality of life feature it would be!This is kind of how it works/worked in Photoshop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHWmwnNFM0o
