Feature Requests

I wondered if adding a feature that could slice the audio tracks to the start & end points of video clips would be possible. Then delete the sliced clips that have no video laid on top of them. What it looks like before the desired effect. What it looks like with the desired effect.
Hey everyone, I have a pretty quick idea for a request. I learned to read histograms for color in Lightroom, which uses a horizontal histogram, however when I'm doing light color grading in Premiere, the histogram is only available in vertical. Obviously it still works, but it would speed me and I'm sure others up if we were able to reorient it. Thanks!
a small request that no one will care about but I find myself doing this over and over. i want to be able to click where the red marks are instead of clicking on the checkbox to the right of the header first. when I click the time, or a slider for example, i want to use that feature, so it should enable itself when i go to make that change.
As an active Premiere Pro user, I frequently utilize Mogrt files to enhance my videos with graphical highlights. However, when clients request small changes (e.g. the color of a graphic), it becomes time-consuming to adjust each one individually. It would be great to have the ability to modify multiple instances of the same Mogrt simultaneously. This would drastically improve workflow efficiency by allowing users to make bulk adjustments quickly and seamlessly.Thank you for considering this enhancement. I believe it would greatly benefit Premiere Pro users who rely on Mogrt animations for their projects.
I refer from using nests a lot since they make it an extra step to edit the footage within, which is a loss since they help keeping a clean and organised edit timeline. In after effects we can hide layers we don't want to use, but I think there is an even better thing in-between, let's call them condense layers for now. These layers would look and behave like a nest normally but when the uncondense button is pressed the ammount of set video/audio lines fold out where the layer is located making it very easy to edit these! And then again with the press of a button these would fold in again and be simple, clean and effective parts of our workflows! Let me know if you got any additions to this idea.
Hopefully I am missing something simple. I need precise control of Lumetri points on curves and cursor-indicator position in color wheels. The mouse is not going to cut it, no matter how big I scale the interface. The Premiere GUI for effects is just not granular enough. Is there a way to nudge these points via the keyboard? What settings? Is there a way to do direct numeric entry? Can either or both be done in the traditional effects parameters panel or the Lumetri workspace? Other platforms have this same issue with GUI precision but they do give you the ability to nudge or enter parameters numerically while in color correction modes. When I use the Type Tool I constantly have to set it to center align text, because the default is right align. I am wondering whether it is possible to have it center align as default? It would save me a ton of time. Thanks a lot.
Sometimes, I find myself wanting more versatility with the Effects Presets that I'm using. Utilizing them in an adjustment layer can certainly enhance their potential, but the current process to achieve this involves a considerable number of clicks. Wouldn't it be convenient if simply dragging an effect from the Effects Panel onto an empty track automatically converted it into an adjustment layer? This functionality, already present in software like Filmora and CapCut, streamlines the workflow remarkably and enhances user experience.
As a rule I keep all or most of my audio tracks in my timeline while I am cutting, but often I don't need all the tracks of a particular clip to be heard all the time or only portions of the track need to be heard in my offline version of the mix. The fastest way for me to turn those tracks off is to enable/disable them using a keyboard shortcut. However when sending a film to sound via AAF or OMF, disabled tracks show up as enabled and become part of the mix, which is misleading for the sound department. I would like the sound department to have these tracks to access in their mix but I don't want to hear them in my offline cut. I would like a simple keyboard shortcut that will take a selected audio track/tracks in the timeline and set the volume to 0db with one keystroke. This would save so much time in finishing and make everyone's life easier. Thank you!
Adobe Premiere Pro 2024MacOS VenturaI've been a Senior Director/Editor for 23 years and counting. My specialty is large multicam shows. I often have between 30 and 45 sources... As you always have to keep up with technology, I now master Premiere and Resolve as well as Media Composer.Problem:With so many cameras, it's vital for me to see if the balance in my choices is right, to quickly spot a particular camera directly on my timeline, etc... In Avid Media Composer, I can see all the cameras with their labels. Not in Premiere, and that drives me crazy.Feature request:I would like this function to be available as soon as possible on Premiere, it's a no brainer.I'm attaching two screenshots. A Premiere milticam and an Avid multicam. A picture is worth a thousand words, so for me it's not even a question of whether this function should be added...If you're like me, share, share, share! And... VOTE 😉Thank you for your attention,Martin Julien
Is there a way to check audio correlation during editing in Premiere ?Or a pluging that works ? Thx for any hint// Harry
Hey there, I am working on guitar reviews and I was looking for a good ducking option to put the music (=guitar track) above the voice. I recently started using essential sound to improve the sound quality for the voice - which is working great. But I'd like to also have a ducking option on the Dialog track the same as it is on the music track, where you can chose what to duck to. Please make it happen!
It would be so super handy to have a function where users can use a short cut to make an edit in a clip and add a transition at the same time instead of making an edit with CTRL+K and then adding the transition with CTRL+D. While it doesn't sound like a big deal, some of the projects I work on are single camera long form video and that type of edit happens dozens of times across a piece of content. It would be an amazing short time saver.
Hi, Frequently, after trimming, slipping or sliding, I want to know how the # of frames or the amount time I've adjusted clips at each step. Knowing this will allow me to either adjust other clips the same amount, or to undo/step back to a specific previous state. If the History window showed the amount of time or frames trimmed at each step in the process, this would be hugely helpful. For instance, the History window could show something like this:- New/Open- Ripple trim (02:10 or 70 frames)- Ripple trim (6 frames)- Ripple trim (3 frames)- Lift & Overwrite Selection (5 frames)- Lift & Overwrite Selection (8 frames)- Lift & Overwrite Selection (2 frames) Then for instance, if I step back one Undo, I know that I'll be going back 2 frames, or two Undos would be 10 frames. I know when trimming or moving clips, the timeline shows the time/amount of change that has been made, but that info is ephemeral and disappears once the action is complete. Also, t
Hi! I would love to get finnish language pack for text transcription. Is there any plans for this in the future?
The current premiere pro deinterlacer is quite bad, it's extremely slow and some even give better results in much less time. Plugin makers also don't seem to care to make a better version of it, nor or after effects. So I kindly request you, adobe management or whoever reads this, to at least consider the huge advantage this would bring to the few of us who still struggle with projects that mix interlaced and progressive footage. Yes, one could deinterlace firts using an external app into losless files and work with that, but sadly I don't own a supercomputer and a big company like Adobe should't force users to this. My pc being slow is precisely the reason why I care about the speed advantage as well as quality jump there will be if you switch to BWDIF, ESTDIF or QTGMC, all of which surpass your offerings. This should be implemented both for individual clips (frame-based or field-based) as well as for exporting whole projects when using entirely interlaced footage and optic flow. I ca
Hi!Many of us want you to bring back Capture! Why not make Capture a stand alone app or a plug-in for Premiere? Many of us would be very happy! Thanks for great products!/Willy
Hey Team Adobe,Hope you're all doing well! Just wanted to slide into your discussion with a few thoughts about our beloved Premiere. Lately, I've been exploring CapCut, and man, they've got some slick AI-powered effects that make jazzing up content a breeze, they've also got these text styles and animated subtitles that are just... chef's kiss! Meanwhile, in Premiere-land, we're slogging through menus, old effects, Pixel perfect keyframing, like it's an Olympic event. Don't get me wrong, I love a good challenge, but let's make things a tad easier, shall we?How about we sprinkle a little bit of that CapCut magic into Premiere? Imagine having a library of trendy, customizable effects at our fingertips, ready to drop into our projects like a pro. And while we're at it, let's not forget about our buddy Adobe Rush. It's like the forgotten cousin at the family reunion! Let's give it a makeover, turn it into a cool "content creator" section within Premiere. Easy-peasy, drag-and-drop good
I'm trying to get text to AUTOMATICALLY follow an object in the video. I have a shot of a person walking and I want text to move with him across the screen. Is there any way to do this within PPro CC? All the help and tutorials I can find either ask me to do this manually, keyframe by keyframe, which is laborious and not as good as automation, or it sends me to After Effects. Is there a way to do this within PPro CC?Thanks.
I believe this is a long-standing bug but I'd love to see the ability to keyframe the text "tracking" field to allow text to slowly drift apart. There are two current workarounds: 1 - do it in Ae and 2 - enter the key frames one frame at a time. Both of which seem to be more time-consuming than it should be. Thanks! Mod note: Title changed.
Hello Adobe. We have some feedback for Premiere Pro, and to make it even easier for you, we've made it into a video you can watch quickly and understand better. Best regards, Louis and Toby Mod note: The title was changed to reflect the requests.
Please, please, please make a way - even if it's a keystroke - that the anchor point in Essential Graphics text can be centered. It's maddening that it's in AE, but not Premiere and it does hinder workflow.
Would be interested in what people know and can share on this topic. Basically part of my job at the moment is creating Compilations from certain episodes of TV Shows. Is there any tools that would help speed up my process in doing so? Not sure if this is viable but I thought something great that could be done is if you were able to 'mark/highlight' certain areas of source material. If after that premier could generate either in episodic order or at random a sequence with said areas based on what you have asked for it? If for example I wanted a compilation of free kicks within football I now have to watch majority of the source file and insert into a sequnce, but If I mark certain areas, label it with free kick I am able to come back to it at any given time. Likewise in the same file I could mark goal kicks, do that for all files and generate a sequence with several goal kick sections. If you could choose how long you wanted it to be as well, it could fill sequence with
More plug-ins or a more dynamic shaper with 3D view of first letter that then migrates to the whole title or text phrase. Using AI to implement any type of wood (Dark, light, high grain, finishes, wax etc.) and carving and embellished styles with intensity settings for styles based on era, (Antique, Victorian, 50s Car finishes, etc.) Radio-active glow, metamaterials, High Tenacity, and Alien, fractile-generated textures. So far choices are few and we can't do chrome bumper-type effects. We might need to be asked for a reflection map for mirrored metal surfaces. If there are plans for a completely new app for AI that can live-export to any associated Adobe app as all apps can be integrated as I suggested to Olson in the 90s with each a different workspace populated with associated tools and menus but you can tab between and transfer back and forth each time saving undo-steps or locking down parts to preserve memory.Dynamic Titles for Premier Pro so you can make a green/blue/screen text
The transcript window is fantastic for being able to quickly scroll through interview footage in order to select sections and add them to a sequence. However, the process is hindered by the fact that the source playhead does not move while scrolling the transcript text. This means that if, while scrolling, I click away from the transcript window to the timeline, I can easily lose my place, forcing me to have to manually scroll to find my last position.Moving the source playhead scrolls the text in the transcript window. It would be great if this relationship were reciprocal.
