If a preset involves Ducking, I don't see the point of having to manually go and clicking the "generate keyframe" button. Just an idea to make workflow less fiddly.
I'd like to edit my pc adobe premiere files from my smartphone using the ressources of my pc, like a kind of stream editing ♥ because sometimes i'm out of home and i have to wait to keep editing...
Please can adobe fix this, one of the main reasons I’ve been putting off updating to the latest versions of adobe apps is the fact that it takes much longer to do basic tasks. Is there a way to move the workspace selection tab back to the middle. On my laptop its super annoying that I must go into the menu all the time to change workspace because the name of the workspaces doesn’t fit on my screen. Compared to the 2022 version.
I hope there were a way to directly upload a draft to X Media Studio - Similar to how we can directly post a draft to Youtube's Creator Studio
Usually I use an offload tool like hedge (which is now called offshoot) to backup my memory cards to multiple drives before I start editing. As Media Encoder and Premiere offer Checksum MD5 verification I was wondering if I could do the same in Premiere and save time because its all happening in the background while editing. I can only select one destination in the menu - is there a way to copy my cards to multiple drives at the same time on ingest?
Is it possible to have the In & Out points connected with the scrubber in the source window? I just want my IN point set a few seconds before the scrubber and the OUT set a few seconds after but then those points will move along with the scrubber through the remainder of the source video so i'd always be cutting the same length of clip to my Timeline just at different points in the source video.
Settings… > Auto Save… > Save backup project to FrameIO With Creative Cloud Synced Files being discontinued early in 2024, it would be great to have a replacement as easy to use as Settings... > Auto Save... > Save backup project to Creative Cloud. If enabled, this could use a location like Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/24.0/Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save as a FrameIO watch folder that syncs automatically to FrameIO instead of the location that the Creative Cloud option uses (Creative Cloud Files/Premiere Pro/24.0/ Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save).This would save users from having to manually put project auto saves on FrameIO.
I would love for some space between the Sequence Tabs and Timeline. I accidentally click on a different sequence all the time when I want to click elsewhere on my timeline playhead. This always causes me to search for the sequence I was just in when I have multiple sequence tabs open. Lets add some more space in between Sequence Tabs and Timeline to prevent this from happening again!
Can adobe try and emulate amiga video toaster video editor.
In the context menu visible upon right-clicking, on the right side of each element in menu there coulde be visible an information about the keyboard shortcut for that function. Just like it is already shown in the main program menus. This would facilitate learning these shortcuts and than enhancing efficiency and speed in the workflow.
I understand there's HDR issue with premiere pro and iPhone but considering how common phones are for shooting, this should not be such a work-around and issue. This should be an out of the box issue to fix. I am not a professional video editor and don't want to have to jump through hoops and presets and settings to make my footage look good when exporting.
In the essential color panel I would like to be able to select my white balance based on the Calvin value. An example being 5600 K I don't find that the sliders and the eyedropper are super useful but I know that when I shoot, I have my lights and camera set to a certain value, I would like to be able to choose that value and possibly have a slider to tweak the white melons from there.
I can't think of scenarios where editors would want their existing clips to be overwritten by clips with unknown durations. I think Automate to Sequence should - by default - find the first empty track, or create one!
It would be great if you could duplicate a sequence using a shortcut, and that duplicate would iterate the name to the next number (or just append with an _1 if there's no number).e.g. Sequence_v1 dulicated becomes Sequence_v2AfterEffects already does this perfectly, would be great if premiere could too
Please add this feature, it is essential for video clips with Finnish audio. Finnish is very easy to speech-to-text. Also the assistant bot is terrible and it doesn't direct you to an actual customer service person. And there are also no e-mail adresses, which is probably a conscious decision, but as a customer/user it would be easier to be able to post an e-mail for someone to see and forward to someone who knows the answer.
So tired of Adobe Premiere Pro. First it tells me memory low, I go everywhere to try to find a solution. Now I maybe managed to change it everything bugs, cannot start anything or do anything. Now trying to encode the video it doesn't work. Now all the videos are offline. So stupid, I'm tired of this,
I want to be able reduce pauses automatically to, say, 5 secs from whatever length any may be - maybe over a minute. Currently I can move the threshold for pause length duration but, though I may delete more or less pauses, the pauses I do delete will be reduced to zero and that doesn't sound right in many cases. The effect of 'no pause' is often abrupt and jarring. Can you add a pause duration slider for the shortest pause allowed?
Why do we have to navigate to the website every time to report a bug when we have urgent edit deadlines? How many of us don't report bugs because it means stopping down work to do it...Just put it right in Premiere!
A more refined workflow where we can move words to different phrases (right now premiere pro ai transcription doesn't time all the words correct) so if we can have a way to move words around with just one click similar to how it is done on submagic. Other ideas from submagic: animating subtitles could be more seamless in premiere pro.I edit short-form content every day and subtitles are the most tedious part of my workflow moving text around, correcting words, colouring words and animating. I think it would save me a lot of time and make my life easier as well as the large percentage of editors that now create short-form content. Fortunately or Unfortunately short's aren't going anywhere so this demand for better tools will only increase.
hello theres any way of getting rid of the new project screen? not the "New" new project screen but any of the "new project screen" i stopped using premiere pro now since 2 years ago for the only reason that capcut doenst ask me at first where's the content location, name of the new project, etc, im doing a lot of payed content for social media brands and for my page where fortunately i doing a lot of money, i dont give a... the name or the location of my content theres ways to organize that before or after the project i just want to open the app and go edit video as fast as i can and just upload the files to the pages. please adobe give the option to get rid of all those new project screens please and to center the app on its principal function that is video editing and if other ppl like that screen you just have to add the option to use it for any person who want it. thanks
Premiere's Marker Panel is very stiff in its ability to rescale. It would be great to have more ability to cale its sections. most important that the filed "Name" can be dragged bigger in Size so it can show more of its content if it doesn't fit in that samll visible section.
Hello everybody, I just noticed, that a sequence opened as a source and then as (source) timline doesn't show any source timecode. Especially when doing pancake editing I sometimes need to see the timecode of the source clips.Additionally frustrating: when playing back fron the source timeline highlighted, the audio levels do not work. Only if you playback with the source window selected, levels are shown. This seems like a huge oversight to not have timecode and audio levels included in this feature.
Hello. I'm a working on animatics edits.I would like to generate a number counter on my screen that counts the shots. Somewhat like timecode but the count is shot based; unlike the linear nature of timecode. It would be great to generate it automaticaly incase there are any last minute edits before locking the picture. Right now, I am placing each number individually with the text tool but there must be a better more efficient way of doing this. any tips ?Thanks in advance!
I am not sure why Premiere's Tool Panels aren't "magnetic" like they are in Photoshop. The big clunky white caption bars and the "ghostlike" borders around many of the panels are odd, especialy on a 4K monitor. The panels often need to be clicked on in various orders to hide the oversized caption bars. EVERY SINGLE TIME Premiere is started. Also, the Effects panel always combines with the Project panel EVERY SINGLE TIME I start Premiere, even tough I save the current workspace settings after undocking it. PLEASE fix that and PLEASE make the panels magnetic. Thank you.
The markers panel is missing a lot of useful functions. It could allow you to:- delete markers- change the color of a marker- change the type of a marker(without having to double-click)
