Is there a way to automatically export every two minutes for a project that lasts more than an hour?
I hope this reaches someone and is considered. I have been in need for a metadata good burn in system for Premiere Pro for a while as a long form doc editor, getting reels out for burn-ins takes infinitely longer than it needs to, as well as doing so for turnovers. The new metadata and timecode effect is an improvement, but unforuntately it is a bit more of the same - only saving you time by putting several lines into one effect, rather than having multiple effects. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we don't actually want it to be an effect at all, this is an unneccesary demand on our timelines. In Premiere there is a well programmed feature in the programme monitor called Metadata Overlay. This overlay set up is perfect, can it not just be programmed so we can burn this into the export? The only thing it needs really is source file name checkboxes for each timecode, and probably more lines as there's only 4. I'm not sure why an entirely new effect h
I work in Canadian politics, and since we are a billingual country, billingual videos are important. Part1- Multi language support in transcription Often, the person speaking in my videos will switch back and forth between English and French. I love the auto transcribe feature, but right now I can only select one language for the transcription. If I set it to English, the French parts will come out in "that's what the words sound like in english" giberish. It would be awesome to be able to tell Premiere that both English and French is being spoken, and get a transcript that swaps between the two. Part 2- TranslationWhen I caption a video that is billingual, I need to have both English and French subtitles on the screen. Right now, I need to have the translation done manually, and then manually add it. It would be really cool if Premiere could translate the transcription in app. The software would have to be able to recognize when English or French is be
Simple idea:I select Wipe as a transition.I make a couple small adjustments (duration, direction of wipe).I save Wipe as a NEW PRESET.I can now drop it other places or set as default. Why is this not possible?
I am editing a YouTube video, and in order to create a fast-paced video, I am doing jump cuts (cutting blank spaces). However, it takes me 3~4 hours to jump cut a video of around 10 minutes, and then I have to edit the ticker and other things, which is very tiring... So I am looking for a service or add-on that can automatically jump cut, but I am struggling to find one.Furthermore, the video I am editing has two people talking, so I am recording one sound source per person.(like this image) So I am looking for a service that will do the jump cut automatically while keeping the two sound sources separate.(Many services do not support dual sound sources or combine two sound sources into one!) Can someone please help me....
It would be helpful to have the playhead position to quickly jump to different timecodes when doing text to video editing. Love the new transcription feature, but I keep having to click back to the source viewer to punch in a timecode and switch back to text, which is time consuming (small laptop edit, so keeping both windows open is a pain). Adding it down to the bottom would be fantastic. Image as suggestion.
Rather than creating an adjustment layer from the project panel first before adding into the timeline, it would be great if you could simply add one into timeline directly. This could done within a click of a button from within the timeline UI or a keyboard shortcut. Perhaps a dialog box could also appear first, asking about the duration of the adjustment layer (you could set to this to your in/out point) and on what track it should go on. These settings could be saved as preset which could then be assigned to a keyboard shortcut.
The ability to solo/unsolo a video track, preferably with an assignable shortcut, in the same fashion as for audio track soloing.
Many of you know the plural eyes plugin/ software. It was able to sync audio to video in seconds. No matter how long the video was. The built in sync in Premiere is way slower. I am syning footage 40h + and it takes ages to get it synced. You even have to do it clip by clip if you want to sync it in the same sequence. Please Adobe step your game up and make the syning faster and the bulk sync easier ....
I'd like to work with folders in the browse mode of essential graqphics to order my inserts etc. in a proper, individual way to get a nice overview.
Hi everyone, so I love using Premiere for many things. However, one thing that I always dislike is the tideous processs of using curves and animations in the effect control panel. In After Effects I can go into the graph for the curves and also comfortably adjust the size of the windows that I'm working in. In Premiere, the area I can use to adjust curves and beziers is just unworkable. Sure, you can resize some panels in the effect monitor but it's not as good as the graph in AE. Also I would love a function that locks in a certain frame before or after the speedup and a more AI supported suggestion on making the speedramps smoother or sharper. I even prefer working with the stone age display in Avid than the graph tool in PP. Are you guys experiencing the same issues or did I miss something? In any case, I think with more and more speedramps being trendy this is something that could use an update real soon.
I really struggle with the Time Remapping functionality. I wish I could grab a frame in the middle of a clip and then position it where I want that frame to be in the timeline. Premiere Pro should figure out the interpolation between the frames. Right now, I want to slow down a 360° product video until it halts and ramp it up again after a few seconds until the rotation of the product halts again at a certain position. This is a pretty laborious task right now. I want things to behave more predictably.
When having several layers of subtitles stacked on top of each other, is it possible to batch export with one version for each subtitle track? I want them hardcoded for each language, but the export settings of the movie can be the same. It's a tedious task to do single exports for each language and aspect ratio.. Screenshot from timeline:
I accidentally create a Multicamera with numeratic camera and now I cant change it to file name. I thing, it is will be great to change multicamera names in overlay, sample rate in "Sequence settings" or create new "MultiCamera Settings" instead of create new MCam
Since a lot of social media content is created with Premiere, I guess, wouldn't it be nice, if you could convert your sequence to "vertical" and rotate your assets in one click? This requires a lot of clicks if you do it manually when your media is doesn't know its vertical.Go to "sequence settings" > insert first number for "horizontal" size (e.g. 1080) > insert second number for "vertical" size (e.g. 1920).Go to clip in seuqence > go to "effect controls" > enter "rotation" > back to timeline > copy clip settings > select all clips > paste settings. Thats a lot of clicks and inserts, which could be shortende to two or three clicks.
I feel more comfortable if we have an exception for track effects for a particular clip in the track
This one would be very difficult, essentially you'd have to have it so multiple versions of the same effect in the effects controls panel show up, but imagine if you could select clips with the same effect, applied in the same way, see that they have that effect and settings in common, have it pop up right there in the effects controls window, ready to apply a mass edit to all clips selected!
I'd love to see a feature implemented that allows you to group audio tracks into collapsable folders to save screen real-estate. Having a folder for dialogue, music & SFX and being able to hide them when they're not needed would be a massive help in only having what you need on screen at any time. The parent track of each folder could show the combined waveform from it's child tracks. Any Reaper users will be familar with how useful this feature is.
[Profanity removed by moderator] The automatic subtitles tool was awesome, responsive, pretty easy to use. And now it's buried in a new layer of terrible options, incomprehensible choices, lagging new developments. Congrats, Premiere pro team. Mod note: Title changed to reflect issue.
It would help a lot of content creators to be able to quickly remove the background on their videos (without long masking programming). A small company called Runway does this, maybe Adobe can just acquire them if they can't build the functionality?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxrzBaiRoCUThanks!
Since Adobe has decided to disable the track targeting default when pasting clips and enforcing this work around: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/whats-new/2022-5.html#paste-same-trackMy suggestion would be to make this either a Preference option or a drop down menu option (in Clips for ex.)
Professional editor here: why doesn't the Sequence window get selected when you drop a transition into the Sequence? Seems like it should to avoid needless extra clicks...
When dropping a transition or effect on a clip in the Timeline it would be useful if the Timeline were then highlighted so I could continue editing without having to re-select the timeline by hand or with a shortcut key. This should also happen when using Up / Down arrows.
