Hopefully with the release of FireFly in PPro these AI features will make an appearance, Adobe Photoshop has logged a lot of data training on selecting subjects over the years, so I am not sure yet as to why Adobe has not attempted to implement such features in the video realm of editing, I so often find myself wanting to adjust skin tones, but find it incredibly difficult at times to find the perfect balance between selecting the skin tones and not selecting other elements in the scene that lay on the similar color scope as the skin. Other issues present themselves when I want to creatively enhance lets say the blues in the sky to a higher luminance, but the subjects eyes are noticeably the same or say a green plant I want to be more vivid, but the eyes become overly vivid as well when adjusting the luminance of the plants because the HSL selection tool is only so so accurate, these are generic examples I know my point is, having the ability of facial
It has become a cumbersome process when importing any effect into my project as there is no streamline way of dedicating a specific folder to the selected effects prior to importing or after proceeding to import, there is only one "import presets" dialog box that prompts a new Finder/Explorer window for me to locate the effects and/or presets then import, after that it decides where it wants to place New selected imported effects. It can be most often random in this process, requiring me to search out the effect by either digging through all the collapsible tabs or going to my finder to find the exact name of the preset or effect and type that into the effects panel search box to the "T" before I can locate it in my effects panel. If there was a live preview before importing commences that prompts me to make a new dedicated folder or choose an existing one that I know of off-hand that would be far more helpful. Secondly, if there was a "pr
When multiple projects are open and you're jumping between sequences from two different projects, it's easy to get mixed up between what you have active in the Timeline versus which Project panel is active. It would be helpful to have a setting that we can enable that will link the Timeline with the Project panel, similar to the "Linked Selection" button in the Timeline. So, for example, if I have Sequence A and Sequence B open, when I click over to Sequence B in the Timeline, the Project panel will automatically switch to Project B that contains Sequence B.
Let's say I want to fill a 25 second space with 7 still photos. What's the quickest way to set these photos to the correct duration in premiere pro? Right now, I use an online timecode calculator to calculate 25 divide by 7, then place the 7 photos on a timeline and manually set each of their duration. Is there a better way?
Resolve currently updates the audio waveform previews in their timeline in response to clip volume keyframes. This provides a quick, intuitive, visual way for me to manually level clip dialog volume. I would love to see something like that workflow in Premiere. Thanks!
Hi, it would save one step if we could access the duplicate timeline prompt form the timeline submenu, when clicking the timeline with the right mouse button. And if the duplicate timeline command would excecute if we are in the timeline. If you need to deal with a lot of different versions this is a big help. thanxs Peter
Hi there! Wondering if it would be possible to add a feature allowing the original color labels applied to clips to stay when a clip is nested in Premiere? Would be a great work flow improvement to those of us working with several camera angles. At present, the clips automatically default to green when nested, no matter what color label is applied to the original clip. I do know that you can re-apply a color label after nesting, but currently it defaults back to green if you render or close the program and re-open. Thank you for your time and consideration!
The workspace panel has lots of default panel options baked in, but all of them are built for a single screen set-up. While I know you can rebuild the setups yourself... it would be nice if there was a feature that would let you switch between single screen and dual screen defaults in the workspace panel... that way I can just click and work, rather than having to build first.
It has been over a year since the Premiere Pro export window was changed to a page, and it is really frustrating how it is conpletely uncustomizable. Please let us resize and close windows (especially the preview window and destinations, beither of which do I ever use) and create workspaces for the export page. This would speed up my whole workflow, making everything more efficient. I could just show what I want to see, just like in the edit page. I find the customizability of Premiere's user interface to be the feature that really hold Premiere above DaVinci Resolve, so the whole app's interface ahoukd be customizable, not just the edit page. An added bonus would be an optionto open all dropdown arrows,.
It would be nice help the user when a certain workflow is used.ex.When I start a new project I copy the mediafiles to a working directory, local drive or server. Then I start to open a predefined project with al screens set.Next I save this project to the working directory. When I now select import I expect Premiere to start opening files in the directory where I just saved the project! Not my documents etc...!Same goes with export, with new projects, choose the project location as first default output directory.
Hi there! Premiere Pro Where could I send a message with a request to add the Greek language to the supported automatic subtitle generation languages?
We have in Effect control window an option to loop and monitor audio only.I like to have that for video+audio. Now when fine tuning the keyframes for an effect the pointer runs out of the window and selection

Workspace LOCK - Disable Tab Position & Proportions change on click Hello Everyone! Many times it happens that while clicking to scrub my timeline, I accidentally snatch a tab and move it, causing a whole mess because it changes proportions of all the other tabs by snatching itself on an edge and making a new panel. Please make a Workspace Menu option to lock all tab positions and also make it a Mappable Keystroke. THANX!
A very common process for me is masking out my boom mic. A lot of the video producers I work with like to have a lot of headroom in their interview shots and I like to have high quality audio from my boom mic. So my process is recording a few seconds without the mic in frame at the head of the interview, putting the boom in for the interview, exporting a jpg of the first frame out to photoshop and then masking in the area at the top that covers the mic, saving that psd and importing back to premiere to use as a cover for the boom. The few times I've forgotten to make the frame without the boom in, I will use content aware fill in photoshop. This is a little labor intensive if I have multiple interview setups for a vox pop that's a quick turn. My feature request is a content aware fill feature inside of premiere, so I don't have to go throught this rigamarole.
I'm in a pool of 12 editors, and we desperately would like to have "Nulls" in Premiere like they have in After Effects.
I often find myself adjusting my keyframes in the exact same way over and over. It'd be cool if we could have keyframe interpolation presets to not have to manually repeat a simple task over and over again.
Hello, I am trying to improve a workflow for our editors and was wondering about a functionality that is standard in Avid but is eluding me in Premiere. Is there a way to be able to matchframe to a clip that is now synced to the sound recordist audio instead of the original camera source audio? Basically I have the clips all synced up in the daymaster, and the new higher quality audio is underneath in the timeline, of course then if I match frame to the original clip it will only match to the original clip which of course does not have the higher quality audio attached to it. I am not interested in using the merge clips function as that often becomes hazardous for the online later. In Avid I would just create subclips from the newly synced video and audio and create the Daymaster timeline from those and this would be no problem. Any ideas? Thank you!Theo
In our setup the journalist is logging the diffrent camera angles and he set marker.Starting editing we prepare are multicam-timeline where the markers are not visible anymore. Would be very helpful when you can see the marker in your editing timeline.Work around is to cut in the diffrent angels in tracks over the multicam clip but this don't make sense at all.
Every sequence remembers it's own save location but this is massively slowing down our workflow. When we have to export several sequences to a new version folder we need to re-navigate after each export. I don't see why anyone would like to keep the locations unique to each sequence. If there is, please make this a user preference because pretty much everywhere else, even within Premiere (XML etc) it just works as all other software.
Hi Adobe is your team considering a more smart and eficient way to remove blemishes with AI in video. apps on the app store are clunky and outratoeously expensive but make editors look BAD when the everday consumer quickly beautifies there face, the iphone may not have the quality of a profressional camera, but it sure [cursing removed] makes them look gorgeous. Us editors have to make 5, 10, 15 different masks, track them and then do guess and check work to remove them in AE or Premiere Pro. Its an insane waste of time in todays world. please include some better video features.
On the daily I find myself in the Effect Controls panel, messing with keyframe handles in the graph editor for temporal interpolation trying to get nice ease ins and outs (the default Ease in/ease out settings often feel too basic). In AE there is a right click > "keyframe velocity" ... that gives me the option to put in the specific values I like. I'd love if there were something like this for Premiere — it would make things a lot simpler for me! Being able to dial in exact values and copy/paste them from one keyframe to another, or even create my own presets...???
I use transcriptions to export a txt, then print to create a paper edit with time code. When conforming the edits on the timeline with multiple clips, timecode becomes meaningless when cutting or rearranging. If clip names were added to the time code, then this would be easier.
It would be handy if you could label a whole video/audio track so that you wouldn't have to label/relabel your clips every time you move it up or down a track. This would improve workflow for some people who are visually editing/organizing clips as they don't have to keep checking which color is which track. The tracks would obviously stay like they are now but you could right click on the track you'd like to label/color and change it via the "Customize..." option.
Hi guys! I usually have to check my transcription before starting the text based editing. After correcting one text of the transcription, I can just press esc and scroll the text cursor (the one that controls the timeline pin) with the arrows to find the next part I want to correct. And that's great! But after that I have to eather click on the pencil in the top of the text tab or double click the text to edit the content again. As silly as it sounds, it would be great not having to get my mouse back to get into the text editing layer.I could not find any option that would lead to that function in the keyboard shotcuts menu, at least in PT-BR. Thanks in advance. Thats my first idea here in this channel, sorry if I'm using it wrong.
