It's great that the "remove punctuation" option was added for subtitles. Thanks for that, Adobe. To round out this update, would it also be possible to add an option to remove capital letters? Thanks.
I apply Warp Stabilizer to most of my clips, but I cannot batch-apply it because Premiere tries to analyze all clips simultaneously. This overloads and freezes my computer. Please change Warp Stabilizer to process queued clips one at a time. This would allow us to batch-apply the effect safely without having to manually wait for each individual clip to finish before moving to the next.
it will be very useful if you can let us rotate the video material in project pannel from horizontal to vertical as ther is a lot of rcorded video is been catched in vertical model using l shape gimble and its been shown in premiere in horizontal and we cant rotatet it to see it the project pannel
It would be super nice to have a search function inside of the project manager, or an option for it to display folders in the projects-tab. looking for a sequence inside of a list of every sequence you ever made in the project is a little tedious. or maybe also let me select multiple timelines in the projects-tab and put them all into proj manager with the “project manager” shortcut, so they are all ticked as selected right away and I dont have to look for individual seq’s in a huge list. xo
Allow users the ability to see the filler words by checking a box or allowing it as a preference. Right now, we see [filler] or [...], and I’d like the option to see what the person actually said, or at least a guess by AI. Also, you cannot export a transcript with the filler words, even with the indicators for filler words.
I'd like to request Indonesian language support for Premiere Pro's Text-Based Editing / auto-transcription feature.Currently, auto-transcription doesn't support Indonesian, which means Indonesian-language creators can't use the transcript panel to text-edit their footage (e.g., deleting a line in the transcript to cut the corresponding clip from the timeline). If native Indonesian transcription isn't feasible in the near term, an alternative would be very helpful: allow users to import an existing .srt subtitle file and have it populate the Transcript panel, just as auto-generated transcripts do. This would let us:Bring in Indonesian subtitles created elsewhere Use the transcript/text panel to edit — deleting a caption line removes the matching clip from the sequence Get the same editing speed benefits English-language users already haveThis would be a big workflow improvement for Indonesian and other underserved-language creators using Premiere. Thanks for considering it!
Video uusage and audio usage in bin metadata display need to be tracked through different projects in a production. On many occasions it would be important to know exactly in which sequences and projects a certain file has been used in a production. Now it seems that video and audio usage is tracked only within one project but this doesn't work if I have individual projects for music, audio or graphics and edit final sequences in different project inside the production. This would be super helpful when making music or archival reports ina bigger project.
Feature request: The ability to create embedded AAF files larger than 2GB.In version 25, Adobe broke Premiere’s ability to create AAF files with embedded audio, larger than 2GB. Version 24 does not have this handicap. Professional editors who work on large projects and export AAF files for Audio Post in ProTools now have to export their projects in multiple parts, so that the AAF file for each part does not exceed 2GB. For editors who need to export AAF’s every week, the fact that this introduced bug has not been fixed for a full version (up to v26.3 now) and still requires a workaround, is a constant reminder that perhaps Premiere is no longer for Professionals. The Breaking out to mono and Rendering components of the AAF exporter still work fine. The problem is with the file writer that collects the individual files and embeds them into a single file - Premiere ASL error number: -2147286767.
the rounding of clips on the timeline has divided the userbase a lot from what i've seen, why not just make it customizable so everyone is happy
I would like to report an issue and make a feature request regarding the shadow gradient behavior in Essential Graphics for Premiere Pro.Around Premiere 2024–2025, the shadow gradient behavior changed from being calculated per character to being calculated across the entire text.In Premiere 2025, setting the Fill to "Gradient" caused the shadow gradient to be applied per character again, allowing existing text designs to be preserved. However, in Premiere 20
Please add a Motion Control model to the video generation tool, similar to Kling's motion control
I upgraded to premiere 26.0 which removed the feature where you could create a circular or rectangular mask within the gaussian blur effect. Now you have to manually add a mask to the effect which is so time consuming and not suitable for the kind of work I do with premiere. Please bring back that feature!
Please add the option to Reload Footage from the project panel.Example:You have an image sequence in your timeline. You edit the sequence in AE (for example) and re-export, having now a sequence that is 1 second longer. This doesn't update in Premiere, which see there have been changes to the sequence but it doesn't realize it's now longer. You now have to select your sequence in the project panel, click Replace Footage, navigate back to where the sequence is (very annoying) and select it again. Just add an option (like in AE) to reload the footage instead.
This is by no means a new request. I have been clamoring for this since Productions launched. But, it's such a basic and critical part of working in Premiere that to not have this feature feels like a collossal oversight. WE DESPERATELY NEED TO BE ABLE TO SEARCH FOR CLIPS/METADATA/MARKERS ACROSS ALL PROJECTS IN A PRODUCTION. It's not enough to just be super organized, but for now that's our only option. BEGGING FOR THIS! PLEASE!
I'm a bit baffled that the default time interpolation is set to "frame sampling" - which I think sounds much fancier than it is!It's actually whole/hold frames- meaning that by default when an editor puts a clip in the timeline in slow motion, (say 50%), each frame is held for 2 frames, and the result is choppy playback....dating myself here by referring to this as 'reservoir dogs' style - aka stuttery CHEAP!I work with some editors that often forget to check in on all speed ramps and timing work they have done, and then we end up with choppy videos. I would love to see a global preference in pref/media where a user could specify an alternate default for time modified clips. Also, I recently learned (pls PLS correct me if I'm wrong here!) that when 'conforming' a timeline that has clips with multiple frame rates within it, it's the time interpolation that essentially conforms the clips for render output. I was recently working on a documentary project with many mixed so
When subtitling long conversations, I have a style preference of removing full stops/periods at the ends of sentences, especially if the subtitle is just a single sentence. It makes the subtitles cleaner and the conversation seem less stilted. I'd love to see an option in the Create Captions dialogue box to automatically remove these trailing punctuation marks at the end of subtitles.
From the Transcript tab in the Text panel, click the hamburger menu and choose Create Captions. In the Create Captions dialog, click the blue arrow to expand "Captioning Preferences"Slide the "Minimum length in characters" and "Minimum duration in seconds" sliders all the way to the leftUnder "Lines," choose "Single" Expected: The intent is to have a single-word caption for each word spoken. No captions should be on multiple lines. No captions should contain more than one word.Actual:Captions frequently (and randomly?) occupy multiple lines, despite me explicitly telling PPro i want single lines. Captions frequently (and randomly?) contain more than one word, despite me dragging those sliders all the way to the left.i read this response to someone else having this problem:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/captions/m-p/13311192... but the size of the text box is not the issue. Premiere Pro will frequently put two words in a single caption, and w
Keyframes are something we constantly use in Premiere Pro, especially for common tasks like zooming in, zooming out, or zooming to specific corners. Over time, people have come up with creative ideas to make this process less tedious and more enjoyable. I'm not suggesting getting rid of the Effects Panel, as we still need the ability to fine-tune keyframes in detail, but I think there should be a quicker, more intuitive way to work with keyframes—something more engaging and fun than constantly clicking on stopwatches. One feature I’d love to see in Premiere is something similar to DaVinci Resolve’s Dynamic Zoom. Essentially, you’d have a set of presets with quick access in the Effects tab, and Premiere Pro could apply a default zoom effect to all clips, which would save a lot of time. Another tool I’m a big fan of is a plugin called DragAndZoom Pro for Premiere. It allows you to drag a box over the area of the screen you want to zoom into, and a transform effect is automaticall
Hello,I would like to submit a feature request regarding timecode-based synchronization in Adobe Premiere Pro.In my workflow, I regularly work with a large number of clips (e.g., 100+ clips from multiple cameras) that are already perfectly synchronized using timecode. My goal is to align all clips directly in the timeline based on their individual timecode while keeping them as fully independent timeline elements. At the moment, this is not possible in Premiere Pro. The Synchronize function only works for a small number of selected clips, and larger selections are restricted. This forces users into multicam workflows, which are not always appropriate, especially when full individual clip control is required. What makes this limitation even more surprising is that external tools such as PluralEyes have been able to perform this type of batch synchronization easily for years, including large-scale multi-clip synchronization based on timecode and/or waveform analysis. Given this, it is diff
Dear Adobe, it probably makes no sense to write, cause the problem persists for many years already, and users ask for that for many years, but if there is a slight chance, PLEASE, do aling mouse functionality across your product, so that the middle mouse would be hand/pan on the timeline in Premiere Pro.😟
Right now, Premiere Pro’s (Pr) enhanced speech is V1. The only way to access V2 is by using the web-based Adobe Podcast. This adds so much extra time. The V2 is so much better than V1. Please add V2 to Pr so it can be done within the Pr app on my computer.
Problem:When working on long-form projects with high audio track counts, the timeline panel becomes cluttered. Scaling up audio tracks to see waveforms forces the video tracks completely off-screen, requiring constant vertical scrolling.Proposed Solution:Allow users to split the view of a single sequence timeline into two stacked or side-by-side workspace panels—similar to the historical Final Cut Pro 7 layout. One panel could be scrolled/scaled to focus exclusively on top video tracks, while the other panel focuses strictly on bottom audio tracks. Why native workarounds fail:Duplicating the sequence or loading a sequence into the Source Monitor breaks active editing flow. The timelines do not mirror dynamic cuts or clip movements in real-time, making a native, unified split-view necessary for complex audio-to-video alignment.
Changing / Enlarging UI Text (via AdobeCleanFontSize) has been removed. XXXX However, the 'AdobeCleanFontSize' has been removed. Can this be reinstated? Moderator note:Edited due to Adobe policy prohibiting discussion of use of the engineer's console on their forums.
Would love to see AI-powered face retouching tools built directly into Premiere Pro similar to what's available in Facetune, TikTok, Instagram filters, or apps like YouCam and Snow. This would help creators and editors easily apply natural-looking skin smoothing, blemish reduction, teeth whitening, eye brightening, or even makeup enhancement , without needing to switch to third-party apps or use After Effects workarounds.Key features could include:One-click auto-beautifyManual sliders for skin texture, tone smoothing, under-eye correction, and contourReal-time previewAdjustment masking for facial features only, leaving background untouchedThere’s already demand for this type of non-destructive, professional beauty filter, especially among:YouTubers and influencersShort-form content creatorsCorporate clients who want light retouchingWedding and event editorsPlease consider adding this. It would save a lot of time and improve workflow for so many of us.
My request is to have the option to color speakers within the text transcript panel. That way you can easily pinpoint responses from a specific speakers at a glance. The color can either be applied to just the speakers name or it can be a combination of the speakers name and the related text.
