Hi there, we built an custom batch exporter (and other stuff) using automation blocks. This is super handy. Now for user friendliness it would be nice to have an easier launcher. No need to go into the script, but a handy overview with a bigger 'run' button and the user input field, that would be amazing. thanks for the great work.
# Feedback: Please Make Premiere Pro's Title Bar Match Dark Mode Like Photoshop/IllustratorDear Adobe Team,Thank you for your continued efforts in improving Premiere Pro. As a loyal user, I appreciate the powerful tools and workflows the application provides. However, there's a persistent inconsistency in the UI that has been a source of frustration for many users:## 🚨 The Title Bar in Dark Mode Is Still Bright WhiteWhen using Premiere Pro in dark mode on Windows, the application’s title bar remains glaringly white. This disrupts the otherwise cohesive dark theme and creates unnecessary visual strain—especially in low-light environments.## 🎨 Photoshop and Illustrator Handle This BetterApplications like Photoshop and Illustrator already support dark title bars that align with the rest of the UI. This makes the user experience more seamless and visually consistent. Premiere Pro, as part of the same Creative Cloud suite, should offer a similarly polished experience.##
Sometimes when inheriting a timeline from a different editor, the "Toggle sync lock" has been swithced off on certain tracks. So when I continue editing, these tracks slip out of sync. The icons for on and off status are too similar, a really small line across the icon is all that separates them. I would really appreciate if the "off" status changed the icon to red, so it is obvious that the status has been changed.
As an Assistant Editor, I would LOVE if Adobe would provide some tools to help Assistant Editors, including "dumb" A.I. that would automate repetitive tasks that humans are bad at but computers are great at, things Assistant Editors have to do all the time and have to triple check our work to make sure we didn't make mistakes, but a computer could do in minutes, error free. I put an asterisk in front of ones I think are higher priority: * Greatly improve AAF turnovers to sound vendors. I've heard many sound vendors complain mightily about turnovers they receive from Premiere projects. * Batch renaming: ex. Find and Replace, as well as adding prefixes or suffixes, to clip names as a batch. Currently, I have to run a 3rd party program (Keyboard Maestro) to do this. * It'd be great if the A.I. could "learn" a process I need to repeat over and over by watching me do it several times, then repeating it. At the simplest level, I guess this would be recording a macro. It'd be i
Hello, I want to play the video in the timeline after cut using the keyboard shortcut QOr more simply, after pressing the shortcut Q and cutting the part that I do not want, I immediately want the video in the timeline to play automatically without the need to press the shortcut space I tried a mouse macro that presses Q and then Space directly, but unfortunately it works once and doesn't work 10 times after that for some reason no one knows What I mean is that the macro actually does the job of the Q shortcut 100% correctly, but sometimes the Space shortcut is pressed, and very often it does not. Why is this important? Because I work on very long clips and manually trim out pauses, pauses, and errors. I don't use ai tools like AutoCut, for example. Because they aren't suitable for the type of clips I'm working on. I know I've written a lot despite how trivial it is, but it exhausts me out a lot in my daily work. Thanks
Hello Adobe Community and Product Teams, I want to share an idea aimed at significantly improving our experience with resource-intensive Creative Cloud applications, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, and potentially others. --- ### **The Current Problem: The Local Performance Bottleneck** We love the power of Adobe tools, but many of us face major challenges: * **Prohibitive rendering and encoding times:** Hours of waiting for complex projects, which hinders creativity and productivity.* **High hardware requirements:** The need to invest in expensive workstations to achieve acceptable performance.* **Slowdowns and lack of fluidity:** Choppy previews, less responsive interfaces on heavy projects, even on good machines.* **Lack of flexibility:** Difficulty working efficiently on less powerful machines or on the go. These factors limit our ability to fully exploit the potential of the software and meet our deadlines. --- ### **The
Hi , In setting/media/defualt media scaling (set/scale to frame size option) , please add "Prioritise Height" and "Prioritise Width" as a drop down menu underneath
legit, i hate why they make it zoom when we scrolling in here I dont want it to zoom!!, i want it to move frame by frame when i scroll anywhere in the program monitor.. REASON why adobe must bring this feature back from adobe premiere 2023 :1. its really help to masking, or text tracking2. i hate it always zoom and must resize it back to fit3. when the update come on premiere 2024, i didnt notice my playback is zoomed, until i render and everything is a mess4. WHO IS THE PERSON IMPLEMENTING SCROLL THROUGH PLAYBACK WILL ZOOM? IS THE PERSON WHO UPDATE THIS FEATURE USING PREMIERE? OMG
Audio time unit display would be way more useful if it also showed the frame number.i.e. HH:MM:SS:FF.SAMPLESe.g. instead of 12:11:16.960 it could show 12:11:16:05.960- with the frames incrementing every (sample rate / fps) time units. Maybe with the samples a different colour when not on a frame boundary. Added bonus - moving to have frame + multiple frame increments as an option.
I've been looking for a quicker way to nest a collection of files individually into their own separate sequences, as the images show below. The quickest way I could find was to individually select each one, and press CMD+Shift+N. For larger collections of footage this is still quite time consuming.Selecting them all and clicking "New sequence from clip" just makes one sequence with all the clips in order. Is there a function in Premiere to do this with one click/shortcut?
Description:Would love to be able to batch delete pauses, filler words, and other selections by marking an in and out point or a particular section from the transcript. It would be cool to have the option to "delete selected" in addition to the "delete all" button if there is a selected in/out range. Why is this valuable? This would be helpful because it can help fine tune my edits directly from the transcript (instead of adding sections of the transcript to the timeline and then batch deleting particular sections one by one. This would allow me to work faster while using Text-Based Editing.
Has this ever happened to you? You’re editing away, minding your own business, when BAM!—your playhead suddenly teleports to some other part of the timeline. Not because of a bug, but because you accidentally used the Up/Down arrow keys with the wrong track targeting, had something typed in the Transcript panel’s search box, or hit "Play In to Out" without meaning to. What if there were a way—with a simple keyboard shortcut—to send your playhead right back to where it just was? Like a "go back" button for your timeline position. Joking aside, that's basically what I’m pitching: a way to recall the playhead’s last stationary position. Although ideally, it could remember a short history of previous positions, just in case the playhead shifts again immediately after the first jump. While it doesn’t come up all the time and the obvious answer is to just not make mistakes, it does happen, and it's always really frustrating when it does.Having a shortcut like this would
For the Visually ImpairedI am an artist/creator that loves Adobe's Products, but as someone who has a color dislexia that struggles to read black & white (or white & black) interfaces it would be wonderful IF Adobe's Premiere Pro would give those who are visually impaired artists like myself an option to edit the color scheme of the interface. PLEASE allow users to edit the text color & (possibly the background color) to our own individual preferences.
When you copy-paste Time Remapping from the Effects Controls (in this case, my time remapping is set to 500%), then it truncates the ends of the clips. No notification is given, it makes it seem like the ends of clips don't exist. The little corner triangles are there so it's impossible to extend the ends of the clips. Premiere 2025.2.3
Deleting empty tracks for cleanup is a very common operation. It would be nice if it's available from the initial right-click context menu rather than a new window where you have to select two (or 3 including caption tracks) things and another click to hit ok all from a position in a windows that wasn't at the location of where your mouse pointer was initially. I know you can bind a keyboard shortcut for this function it but it's welcome for those that don't use shortcuts as much or when you're on a system without your user settings. Example:
Hi!As someone working on large-scale projects with dozens of clips, audio files, proxies, images, etc., it's quite frustrating that Premiere Pro still lacks a built-in feature to automatically organize files into bins based on file type, camera name, or custom naming rules. There’s no button like "Auto-Organize Project" that can sort media into folders (Video, Audio, Proxies, Images, Sequences, Graphics etc.) — even though other NLEs and extensions can do this.I’m aware that scripting via UXP/JSX is possible (and I use some custom scripts myself), but this should be native in 2025.Why hasn’t Adobe implemented this yet? Are there any plans for a smart organization feature in future versions? Thanks in advance!
Innovative Feature Suggestion: AI-Powered Transcript Editing and Scene Auto-Cutting in Premiere Pro I’d like to propose a highly innovative and practical feature that would greatly enhance workflow efficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro—especially for editors working with interviews, documentaries, podcasts, and other dialogue-heavy content. Feature Overview:Introduce the ability to paste a time-coded, edited transcript (such as one prepared from a transcription service or AI tool) directly into Adobe Premiere after a video has already been imported, and have Premiere automatically cut scenes based on the transcript. This feature would allow users to edit by text and have those edits instantly reflected on the video timeline. Core Functions: Auto-Cut by Transcript:Once the edited transcript (including timestamps) is pasted into Premiere, AI could intelligently compare it against the original video’s transcription and auto-cut or trim clips according to what remains in the
Current Challenge: I often face this situation:A 20-minute MP4 video is edited down to a 1-minute final cut.Later, the sound designer provides a cleaned and enhanced 20-minute WAV file.(Using the full 20-minute audio is preferable as it enables future re-edits without requiring the sound designer again.)Current Solutions:Re-edit the video with the new audio file from scratch.Unrealistic and time-consuming.Re-export the source video as ProRes with the new WAV file, then replace footage.Cumbersome and error-prone.Duplicate sequence with media, replace the video file with the new audio file to retain cuts, and copy-paste the updated edits into your original timeline for seamless audio replacement.Cumbersome and time-consumingProposed Solution#1. Drag-and-Replace Matching Audio:Allow users to Alt-drag the full 20-minute WAV file over the existing edited audio cuts. Premiere Pro would replace the audio seamlessly, maintaining the edited in-and-out points, instead of resetting to the b
Dear Adobe Team,I would like to request a new feature in Premiere Pro that allows users to snap a selected clip to the playhead with a single shortcut key. This functionality already exists in After Effects, where users can position the playhead and use a shortcut to instantly snap a selected layer to the playhead's position. It would be incredibly helpful to have the same capability in Premiere Pro to streamline the editing workflow and save time.Thank you for considering this request. I hope it can be implemented in a future update!Best regards,Surya
I edit a lot using the Multicam view, but sometimes use proxied MP4's so I don't have to store the 4K footage until it's time to export. To maintain the sequence settings for 4k, I make use of the zoom feature in the preview so I can see what's going on. Unfortunately, in the Multicam View this is not possible, which increases the amount of time it takes to cut these segments exponentially. Can't add images due to client stuff, but it's easily viewable from the zoom box disappearing when the feature is enabled.
In typical week I deal with five to 10 (finished) hours' worth of programming by scientific and medical professionals. It is filled with strange words and acronyms. When I provide captions and transcripts, the MUST be accurate! I consistently find myself always making certain corrections. Below are observations/suggestions for refinement to Premiere that could save me many hours each week. First, internal transcription is awful. Considering licensing “Whisper 2” AI transcription module. (As I use it through a Mac app called Jojo, its FREE.) As is, EVERY video I do gets run through it for FAR more accurate transcriptions than Premiere provides. In a one-hour program Premiere can give literally hundreds of errors, compared to one ot two using Whisper. Then after I get a good transcription, Premiere mangles it while creating captions. Here are things I’ve frequently seen [NOTE "/" indicates a lne or bubble break]: Tiny “bubbles…” (caption cels?) I get a lot
