So, I'm going to make movies and I did quite a bit of research to decide which NLE to go with. Most people on the internet said Avid Media Composer is the best NLE for people who want to make movies, but they said that Adobe Premiere Pro is also a good option. The main down side to Premiere Pro is that you really can't do much to edit and enhance audio. I've done extensive research on how to edit and enhance audio and I've found that the industry standard is Izotope's Post Production Suite, in particular, Izotope RX 10 Advanced. It seems that much of Izotope RX 10 Advanced is compatible with Premiere Pro, but there are some very important features that are not compatible with Premiere Pro (for example, Dialogue Isolate, De-rustle, Ambience Match, and others). Much if not all of the rest of the Izotope Post Production Suite seems to only be compatible with Pro Tools and not Premiere Pro. This is a major problem for filmmakers like myself who need the very best audio editing, mixing, and
I've been editing in the content creation industry for over 6+ years and trust me when I say it would be a MONUMENTAL leap to add these 3 things in the Premiere Pro UXP API: 1. Making it possible to save bezier keyframe data. Not just interpolation for the keyframe, but the handle info as well. 2. Saving masks 3. MAKING TEXT/GRAPHIC LAYERS!! All of my friends are editors who have also been in the industry for years and I assure you adding these feautres would be incredible. The tools we could make would be an insane game changer. I know for a fact people have requested these features in the past so please, consider it.
Hello. I am Sabzipour. I'm a film editor and I work professionally with Adobe Premiere Pro. Adobe Premiere Pro is my favorite software and I've been working with it for over twenty years and I want to do something to improve it.After you nest several clips in Premiere Pro timeline, you may need to separate them again and “unnest” them. So you double-click on the nested sequence to open in another timeline. My suggestion is that when we double click on the nested sequence, it will open in the current sequence, not in an independent sequence. Or when right click on the nested sequence, add an option in the menu named “Unnest” , which by clicking on it, the nested sequence will be opened in the same current sequence.
Premiere 25.2.1 (build 2)Mac Studio: 32GB, Sequoia 15.3.13 monitors Much of my work involves preparing recorded medical lectures for continuing education viewing. This means my graphics source is almost always a series of PowerPoint slides. Presently, I make corrections to the PowerPoint file, export each slide in it as a PNG file, defining I wat them as 4000x 2250, import the PNG files into Premiere. And then place them on the timeline. Then I scale, place, crop as needed. Every time I update a slide, I have to go back and re export PowerPoint slides to PNG files either singly or as a complete set. Several parts of this are quite cumbersome and time consuming. Is there any chance that much as with Photoshop layers, we could import the PowerPoint file itself in the Premiere with each slide coming in individually? Allow defaults to be changed o import as sizes larger than 1080? Thanks.
AI feature where it grabs 3-5 second (or however long the user wants) clips of whatever im searching within the AI search panel.
Loving the text to edit function - I usually edit on AVID and this seriously saves alot of time. Just working through the functionality of the transcription and text based editing - one piece of functionality that would be a DREAM to have - since we can EXPORT the sequence transcript or the raw source transcript. I took that text file and used a PAPER EDIT in TXT. What I'm wondering - is if there's a way to IMPORT and paper edit TXT file and Premiere will automatically splice in the paper edit script directly onto a sequence (rather than having to splice in paper edit manually). This would save so much time - since I work with producers on the paper edit, usually we need to export a paper edit for shareholder approval. So - once we've locked in the paper edit (with corresponding TC) - it would save alot of time if we can just simply import the TXT paper edit into premiere and it automatically inserts each sound bite (in the order from the paper edi
PLEASE!! I have HOURS of captions and transcripts to go through each week in Premiere and my computer screens are set for a high resolution for more effective editing. This has the unfortunae effect of text sizes visible in Transcription and Captions panels being very small--even with slider all the way up. Eye strain results. Can you please allow even larger font sizes to be available in text panels? Thanks.
In the clips on the timeline, I can see their individual names but I cannot see the individual duration... I have to select IN/OUT or stop with the mouse over it (and thus look at the pop up), every time I want to know the duration individual? Why don't they also allow you to show the duration, in the same way as the individual name, like in Avid Media Composer?
Time remapping in PR really painful....V2025 still inconvenient to use.Even compare to cap cut(mobile app). Please make the PR to really professional software. Please.
I occasionally need to use the Copy Paste Includes Sequence Markers. I have created a shortcut to toggle this function, but the only way I can see it's current status is to go to the Markers Menu with my mouse. Would love for there to be a button that I could add to the Source or Program monitor that shows current status similar to Proxy or Loop Playback. Alternatively, there could be two different keyboard shortcuts: one for turn On, and the other for turn Off. That way, I can turn it on with confidence when I press the 'turn on' shortcut key and not wonder whether I just inadvertently turned it off.
In recent years, new releases of graphics cards have included more than one encoder for significantly enhanced performance when writing video files. For instance, the NVIDIA RTX 40 series cards have two NVENC encoders while the RTX 50 series have three. What it allows for is the ability to divide the encoding task into multiple segments for each encoder to perform simultaneously. This process is called "Split Encoding" and this allows for much faster exports of videos in less time than them being done on a single encoding process, which is what both Premiere Pro and Media Encoder currently do at the moment. I strongly believe many video editors can benefit a lot from Adobe implementing Split Encoding. Export times can be greatly reduced without compromising on quality and save a lot of time for quick turnaround projects. Competing video editing platforms, namely DaVinci Resolve, have support for it. I feel Premiere Pro and Media Encoder can greatly benefit from it a
DAVINCI RESOLVE has copied all the features of Premiere Pro one by one and is now going ahead of Premiere Pro... Now is the time to completely copy the Feature Color Node of Davinci Resolve and give Premiere Pro a good interface with experience because everything is fine in Premiere Pro except that there is no flexibility in color correction... Premiere Pro should also provide a separate node based interface for color and put all the features in it... Now is the time when Premiere Pro can make its software even more advanced
I am using Premiere Pro 2025.2.1 version.I didn't really feel the need for an update, so I used the 2024 version for a long time, and I updated it because I thought 'maybe it will work in the latest version', but it still doesn't work, so I'm asking for it. Keyframe editing (Ease In/Out, Besier, etc.) is possible for motions such as position, scale, and rotation,Keyframe editing (Ease In/Out, Besier, etc.) is disabled for paths and masks~! I don't think that function puts a burden on the system, but is there a reason why it's disabled? I hope you support 'Path/Mask/Shape Keyframe Editing' in the next update version.
MKV files?? How many years as it been since we asked for that? I stopped counting. But why only H264/AAC???? MKV files are incredibly polyvalent... Also, FLAC support out of the box without the need of external plugin? Audition supports FLAC but not Premiere. WHY?????????
Suggested short-cut menu for Premiere: Right-click menu to add effects both in Effects Control window and on clip in timeline. We can do this in After Effects. See sample images. We can right-click inside the Effects Controls of a Selected Layer or even right-click the Layer and Add an effect. However, it's never been possible in Premiere Pro. This would be a great feature to speed up the workflow saving us from having to open the Effects Window and dragging onto a clip or into the selected item's Effect's control. I added jpgs below to clarify.AFTER EFFECTS:PREMIERE:SOLUTION:
Hi there,I'm fairly new to using Adobe Premiere Pro, and my primary function in using the product is redacting audio and video for releases to the public. I've had great success using Premiere, but one problem I am having trouble figuring out is how to change keyframe interpolation of my masks. I am using a basic Mosaic tile mask to cover sensitive information, and after I make the keys for it's movement across the canvas, I right click the keyframes and my options for interpolation are greyed out. I've been working around this by rotoscoping quite a bit, but I feel like just changing how these keyframes are interpreted would be of great help.I've read the help files (to the best of my ability), and I've been directed to go to the "Windows > Mask Interpolation" menu. I cannot find that menu anywhere. Here are two screenshots of the menus I have been looking at:I am using: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 11.1.2 (22)2017.1.2 ReleaseI am sure this is a simple answer to the veterans out there, and
The idea is to be able to edit closed captions directly in the sequence of the subtitle row by being able to double click the closed caption and modify the text in each closed caption section. Example, in the attached picture, I would find it useful if i could double click the "he would" and the box would highlight and i could just start typing that way instead of having to move my mouse around to different panels. Hope that helps !
Dear Adobe Team,Please consider adding Hebrew language support for voice-to-text transcription in Premiere Pro.There are thousands of users in Israel who are currently forced to rely on expensive third-party plugins just to transcribe Hebrew audio. This creates a major barrier for editors and content creators working in Hebrew, especially when it comes to accessibility, subtitling, and efficient editing workflows. Moreover, the Audio Enhancer tool also becomes much less effective due to the lack of proper Hebrew support, which limits the usability of otherwise powerful AI tools. We sincerely ask you to include Hebrew transcription support in future updates. This would make a significant difference for a large user base and show that Adobe truly supports a global creative community.Thank you in advance!Best regards,Paul Styler
In the latest 24.4 version of Premier Pro, you can zoom in and out by mouse-scrolling on the program monitor. This is good for those who want to add effects precisely but not for editing at a fast speed I really hope there's a way to revert the change so my productivity goes back to 100%
Hi Adobe Team,I’d like to request the addition of Arabic transcription support and the ability to set Arabic as the app language in Adobe Premiere Pro.Currently, while Adobe Premiere Pro offers transcription services, it does not support Arabic, which is a key language for many video editors working in the region or with Arabic-speaking audiences. Adding Arabic transcription would enhance the user experience for those of us working with Arabic content, making it easier to create accurate subtitles, captions, and workflows.Additionally, it would be extremely helpful if Arabic could be included as an option for the interface language of the app, to accommodate native Arabic speakers and improve the usability of Premiere Pro in Arabic-speaking countries. Why it matters:It would streamline video editing and subtitling for Arabic-speaking editors and creators. It would support content creators working with Arabic-language videos, enhancing accessibility and productivity. It would allow for a m
I’m sure a lot of editors like using text editing by cutting and pasting text to manipulate dialogue in a timeline. That’s cool, but not my workflow. Instead, I use the text window to build dialogue edits from a paper edit - which typically involves multiple interviews and multiple clips with multiple cameras. So I prefer to build it sequentially, selecting from one source to a fresh timeline. IThe Text window very good for this (better than searching the old way with time codes on a paper printout that get you in the general area) … but the window needs some slight modifications to make it great. Larger text window to search: When you’re building from a paper edit, to accurately find the right section requires at least three or more words for an accurate result. But the tiny window makes it very awkward to do this and modify a result. Cannot fathom why this window is so small when the interface has so much space there. Keyboard navigation: It would be great to be
Please, add Georgian language in Premiere Pro auto captions 😕😕
Please make the effect go into a twirl up/down function. Takes in too much room. And add a general Reset Button.
The title says it all. More and more editors are doing animations directly in Premiere Pro. Now, Davinci did it first and I'm suprised that Adobe still hasn't improved Premiere's keyframe editor considering After Effects has been leading that for years. Everytime I want to create bezier.. it's just tedious and especially in that tiny little space that I have available. Would love to have new tools for keyframe editing and better yet, let us assign shortcuts. just my two cents. I still love premiere and I think it still does a ton of things better than DV, but lacking behind the competition is a bad look being such a long player in the game. Good luck dev team!
