It would be nice to have a similar feature than Indesign to automatically balance ragged lines in subtitles.

Hi Adobe Team,I wanted to share a small but potentially helpful feature idea that could streamline workflows for many of us creating content in both horizontal and vertical formats.In my projects, I often create horizontal sequences first, then repurpose them for vertical platforms like Instagram Reels or TikTok. While I’m aware of the “Auto Reframe Sequence” option, I often find that the automatic reframing doesn’t quite align with my creative intentions—especially when it comes to precise edits. So instead, I manually go into Sequence Settings and change the frame size from 1920x1080 to 1080x1920.This works fine for single sequences, but when I have to convert multiple sequences, the process becomes repetitive. With that in mind, I’d love to suggest two simple enhancements:Add a quick toggle switch in the Sequence Settings window to flip the Horizontal and Vertical frame values. (I've included a mockup of what this could look like.)Enable bulk orientation switching for multiple selec

This issue seems to be new to version 25. If you click and select a caption in the captions tab with 'Selection follows playhead' turned on, it used to just select that caption on the timeline. However, now it also selects clips on the timeline which have targeting enabled. This wasn't the case in version 24. To me, this change is not great design. I often use the Captions tab to edit subtitles, sometimes joining two captions together by pasting from one to another, and then deleting the empty caption. The problem is that, if I click on an empty caption and hit delete, it doesn't just delete that caption, it also deletes whatever has also been auto-selected on the timeline. If you're focussed on the Text panel, then it's easy to miss this, only to discover that multiple clips on your timeline have accidently been deleted, when all you were doing was editing captions. The workaround is to turn 'selection follows playhead' off when editing captions. Is there a way to sort my project files by File Size? 

久しぶりにアップグレードをしたら仕様が変わっていました。細かくエフェクトの位置を変える自分としては作業効率が非常に悪くなるため、バージョンダウンしました。この仕様である限りアップグレードできません。モニター上でマウスホイール操作をした際、ズームイン、ズームアウトか1コマ移動かを選択できるようにしてください。この変更には非常に憤ってます。

It would be great to press "auto" color correction on Lumetri Panel and get an auto generated Lumetri-color effect for all selected clips in the timeline. Now you have to do this one by one. I know that we can add an adj layer and calculate an unique Lumetri color for similar clips, but however usually clips are different and require different adjustments.  Plus: auto generated Lumetri-color should consider continuity and matching the colors between near clips

It's really simple. Transcriptions are not correct. But if I use almost any other major transcription service, the accuracy is a lot more useable. And if I can't trust the language I can read, I definitely cannot trust a language I cannot.  Simple example - My brand is called "Geekazine". Transcriptions have done "Geek is in", "Geek Ezine", "Geek align", "Geek scene", "Geek cuisine" and other variations. Never has it done "Geekazine".- Premiere Pro has yet to get this correct. - If I use any other AI transcription service, when I say "Geekazine", it shows up as "Geekazine" - I use Vibe - an Open source transcription program - https://thewh1teagle.github.io/vibe/It also gives me accurate SRT and text files. - Even my Name "Jeffrey Powers" gets transcribed incorrect a lot of the times. Current Limitation:When using File > Export > Markers in Adobe Premiere Pro, the exported CSV and text files include marker names, timecodes, comments, and durations, but completely omit marker color information. Keyboard presets, caption presets, Lumetri presets, Essential Sound presets, Workspace layouts - and on and on and on.   We all create so many presets as we work, and they become pretty essential to the workflow.  But where are they all?   I can never, EVER find them, because they're all over the place - some in ~/Documents/Adobe/PremierePro/xx/Layouts,, some are in ~/Documents/Adobe/PremierePro/xx/username, some are in ~/Library/ApplicationSettings, some are somewhere else etc etc.   You know the deal. While there's no way we'd expect you to start moving all these around in the filesystem the app references, because doubtless there's specific reasons you have to put things where they are etc, surely there's a way to create hard links or whatever to them all, and flile them in a folder called for e.g. ~/Documents/Adobe/PremierePro/UserPresets, and place them all in subfolders beneath that?  We so often need to move a project to another machine/lo

Ich habe einen Ordner voller Kamera Clips und einen weiteren Ordner mit extern aufgenommenen Audiofiles. Nun möchte ich diese per Timecode syncen. Anstelle nun jeden Clip einzeln mit den Audiofiles zu verknüpfen, was Stunden bis Tage bei einer größeren Produktion bedeuten würde, wünschte ich mir eine Art Stapelverarbeitung für die Zusammenführung von Clips. Man markiert beide Ordner und drückt auf SYNC. Anschließend beginnt die Stapelverarbeitung und fügt jedem Videoclip eine zusätzliche Metadaten-Information hinzu, welcher Audioclip anhand des TCs nun damit verknüpft ist. Hi there, we built an custom batch exporter (and other stuff) using automation blocks. This is super handy. Now for user friendliness it would be nice to have an easier launcher. No need to go into the script, but a handy overview with a bigger 'run' button and the user input field, that would be amazing. thanks for the great work.

Sometimes when inheriting a timeline from a different editor, the "Toggle sync lock" has been swithced off on certain tracks. So when I continue editing, these tracks slip out of sync. The icons for on and off status are too similar, a really small line across the icon is all that separates them. I would really appreciate if the "off" status changed the icon to red, so it is obvious that the status has been changed.

As an Assistant Editor, I would LOVE if Adobe would provide some tools to help Assistant Editors, including "dumb" A.I. that would automate repetitive tasks that humans are bad at but computers are great at, things Assistant Editors have to do all the time and have to triple check our work to make sure we didn't make mistakes, but a computer could do in minutes, error free. I put an asterisk in front of ones I think are higher priority: * Greatly improve AAF turnovers to sound vendors. I've heard many sound vendors complain mightily about turnovers they receive from Premiere projects. * Batch renaming: ex. Find and Replace, as well as adding prefixes or suffixes, to clip names as a batch. Hello, I want to play the video in the timeline after cut using the keyboard shortcut QOr more simply, after pressing the shortcut Q and cutting the part that I do not want, I immediately want the video in the timeline to play automatically without the need to press the shortcut space I tried a mouse macro that presses Q and then Space directly, but unfortunately it works once and doesn't work 10 times after that for some reason no one knows What I mean is that the macro actually does the job of the Q shortcut 100% correctly, but sometimes the Space shortcut is pressed, and very often it does not. Why is this important? Because I work on very long clips and manually trim out pauses, pauses, and errors. I don't use ai tools like AutoCut, for example. Because they aren't suitable for the type of clips I'm working on. I know I've written a lot despite how trivial it is, but it exhausts me out a lot in my daily work. Thanks

legit, i hate why they make it zoom when we scrolling in here I dont want it to zoom!!, i want it to move frame by frame when i scroll anywhere in the program monitor..  REASON why adobe must bring this feature back from adobe premiere 2023 :1. its really help to masking, or text tracking2. i hate it always zoom and must resize it back to fit3. when the update come on premiere 2024, i didnt notice my playback is zoomed, until i render and everything is a mess4. WHO IS THE PERSON IMPLEMENTING SCROLL THROUGH PLAYBACK WILL ZOOM? IS THE PERSON WHO UPDATE THIS FEATURE USING PREMIERE? OMG 

Audio time unit display would be way more useful if it also showed the frame number.i.e. HH:MM:SS:FF.SAMPLESe.g. instead of 12:11:16.960 it could show 12:11:16:05.960- with the frames incrementing every (sample rate / fps) time units. Maybe with the samples a different colour when not on a frame boundary. Added bonus -  moving to have frame + multiple frame increments as an option.

I've been looking for a quicker way to nest a collection of files individually into their own separate sequences, as the images show below.The quickest way I could find was to individually select each one, and press CMD+Shift+N. For larger collections of footage this is still quite time consuming.Selecting them all and clicking "New sequence from clip" just makes one sequence with all the clips in order.Is there a function in Premiere to do this with one click/shortcut?

Description:Would love to be able to batch delete pauses, filler words, and other selections by marking an in and out point or a particular section from the transcript. It would be cool to have the option to "delete selected" in addition to the "delete all" button if there is a selected in/out range.  Why is this valuable? This would be helpful because it can help fine tune my edits directly from the transcript (instead of adding sections of the transcript to the timeline and then batch deleting particular sections one by one. This would allow me to work faster while using Text-Based Editing. 

Has this ever happened to you? You’re editing away, minding your own business, when BAM!—your playhead suddenly teleports to some other part of the timeline. Not because of a bug, but because you accidentally used the Up/Down arrow keys with the wrong track targeting, had something typed in the Transcript panel’s search box, or hit "Play In to Out" without meaning to. What if there were a way—with a simple keyboard shortcut—to send your playhead right back to where it just was? Like a "go back" button for your timeline position.  Joking aside, that's basically what I’m pitching: a way to recall the playhead’s last stationary position. Although ideally, it could remember a short history of previous positions, just in case the playhead shifts again immediately after the first jump. While it doesn’t come up all the time and the obvious answer is to just not make mistakes, it does happen, and it's always really frustrating when it does.Having a shortcut like this would
