It would help a lot of people if you could assign a keyboard shortcut to a pre-configuration or effect in the "effects" tab.It would also have to work for user-created preconfigurations. This would make it possible, for example, to stabilize a rush with a single keystroke.
Regarding the little square in the label color column of the project panel, what if either you could hover over it and the pop-up stated what it was (b-roll, no good, best take, etc.) ... or ... there was an additional metadata column similar to "comment" but with a drop-down of your editable label choices.
Feature Request: Option to retain local audio preview scratch disks within Productions by default on individual collaborators' machines. I work with several other editors and assistant editors, each of us on multiple machines, on a shared Lucidlink volume, using Productions. We are big fans of Productions and big fans of Lucidlink, but do have a small nuisance that we're hoping find a better workaround for. Our scratch disks are set locally (not on lucid), which seems to help render speed during sessions and prevents those with slower upstream connections from getting their bandwidth choked. Often, sometimes several times per day, one or all editors collaborating will need to reset their video & audio previews in the Production's scratch disk to their own individual local non-lucid cache folders. Ideally, there would be an option in Premiere to allow each machine to have its preview file paths stay locally assigned. Within Preferences>Collaboration perha
Yay an other update........ Why would I want to have rounded corner on clips in the timeline when 95 percent of my time im trying to butt up next to an other clip? makes no sense.. if im on line 1 and butt up a clip on the edge of line 2 under it.. theres a huge space because its rounded.. why would anyone want this.. how do I change it back.. please.. tell.. me.. theres a way.. Yeah I get it a bunch of weirdos requested rounded edges.... but I have no idea why.. guess im missing something..
It would be great to define a maximum volume for silences, in some occasions in the recordings you can hear the breaths, and Premiere Pro does not consider them as silences so those breaths must be eliminated manually, if a volume level is established for silences, everything that is below that volume level will be considered silence and will be eliminated, as well as it would be great to allow leaving a space between the cuts, so that the audios once they are cut are not so close together since sometimes you have to edit again and add that space manually
Will we ever have a built-in audio feature that allows us separate vocals from instruments in Premiere pro? I saw how davinchi resolve implemented this feature in their new release which allows you to seperate audio to 4 stems (vocal, instrumental, ambience, background noise), I`m used to work with Premiere pro for 5 years, and..Since we already have remix tool there, why not implement vocal isolation feature in future releases as well?
Hello,If I edit a long video of my karting session into a short video's for YouTube Shorts, TikTok or Instagram Reels, it takes very much time to manual cut the videos in parts. It's there a way to let AI or Premiere Pro analyse the long videoclip and cut automaticly into short videos so I spend less time into making Shorts voor social media and YT Shorts? I want to be more efficient with my editing.
Manipulating a points of a mask on an effect in Premiere Pro is a pain in the butt, especially compared to After Effects. It's very difficult to accurately grab a point and simply move it to a different position. I invariably end up adding another point or pulling the bezier curve instead of just repositioning the point. I ask that the Premiere team open up After Effects to notice how much easier it is to adjust the points on a mask. Ask the After Effects team how they do it and just copy what they do. One of the biggest frustrations of all Adobe products is how inconsistent tool behavior is from program to program.
When I create a project shortcut from the Project window using the New button, it creates a new project that is saved under the Adobe Premiere Pro Shared Projects directory. Is it possible to replace spaces with a hyphen or underscore in the directory name by default when i create new project ?
Hi, I'm hoping to find this feature in the next Premiere Pro version. You know that Alex Hormozi style of text animations. Is there a way you can add some preset text animations at least 3-5 of them under the Text panel? Perhaps under the Captions subpanel where you can choose basic text animations? What do you think?
I wanna suggest Adobe to bring the feature of animated captions with bunch of formats and styles with the already present automated captions feature. Many people are looking for alternative plugins to do the same thing . As Adobe's premiere pro auto transcription is already powerful, automotive animated captions will spice it up even more.
I'm at a loss to understand why audio effects are explicitly disallowed as source effects. Audio isn't just an obvious use case for source effects — audio is an absolute pain to manipulate otherwise. Say I have an audio recording that needs some processing applied wherever it's instanced in sequences. I really want to be able to apply such effects non-destructively, but as soon as I cut the clip up, I've got dozens of individual clips that have lost their effects connection to the source. I guess I have two options at that point — to destructively edit the source in Audition, or to create a whole extra sequence to enclose just that one source file, to edit the effects in the sequence's one, unbroken, clip, and then nest that wrapper sequence within my actual target sequence, and chop it up rather then original source clip. This seems like a really backwards process. Am I missing something here?
Premiere Pro Feature Proposal1,Smartphone Notifications for Export Completion & Progress UpdatesExporting a project can take a long time, often requiring users to step away and work on other tasks. A notification system would greatly improve efficiency by providing:Export Completion Notification: Sends a notification to the user's smartphone when rendering is finished.Progress Update Notification: Notifies the user when the export is almost complete (e.g., "5 minutes remaining").This would help users manage their time more effectively.2,AI-Powered Automatic Person MaskingSince people are often the main subjects in video production, an AI-powered feature that automatically detects and masks people in both images and videos would be extremely useful.Use Cases: Background replacement, color correction, applying effects, etc.Benefits: Significantly reduces the time required for manual masking, improving workflow efficiency. With the advancement of AI technology, this feature seems feasi
They pulled the essential graphics windo from Premiere 2025 (I guess to make our lives harder?) and now it seems there is no way to distribute layers. FOR WHY??? Title edited by mod for clarity.
When putting Rec2100 HLG clips into Rec709 sequences, the color management is extremely lacking. Colors and skin tones are all washed and blown out. A quick clip is to go into Clip Settings in Lumetri Color Management and turning down the exposure. However, when you have lots of clips needing this solution, you have to individually do this to each clip. The idea is to be able to make adjustments in this panel and be given the ability to create a preset or copy/paste attributes from one clip to another. We can do this with the general Lumetri Panel but not the Color Management panel.
Where can I save presets of VST oder Audio Plugins in Adobe Premiere 2025 (or 2024)?Am I able to "save" complete plugin chains? Example use case:In our productions we constantly have the same speakers. Each of them have their own voice signature and each voice needs to be taimed in a different manner. They need EQ, Compression, De-Essing etc... Where can I save these chains (or single Audio Presets) for the whole channel?
It would be highly beneficial if protected regions of mogrts were visualized in the timeline.
It would be nice to have a transcript/translation feature that directly extracts text from video frames, similar to OCR tools, rather than relying on audio-to-text conversion, which may sometimes fail to capture words accurately.
Hello Adobe Team,I have some Idea. So, when we working on film or TV-series, we have got a lot of audio tracks and we choose wich one is dialog, SFX and Music, but in clip mixer, especially when we have got a lot of tracks, naming just missing, and I thought, will be great, If we can somehow colorising audio tracks or give some color labelsBecause when I labeled whem or add some color, I can see wich is dialog, SFX and Music, but when it is just grey color, its hard to understand
The name of cameras in multicam can only be specified when creating a multicam sequence. I want it can be changed after a multicam sequence is created.
Please add the option to change the audio type in an already created Multicam sequence. For example, switch from Audio mode from Camera 1 to Audio from all audio tracks.
A number of transitions could benefit from easing. Some that come to mind are:- Push- Slide- Wipe- SplitThe Effect Controls interface is so old, I'm not sure how this would be best implemented. It'd be nice, at bare minimum to be able to choose between ease in, ease out, or both (if we can't have full control over bezier handles).
Hello Adobe Community. So, when I am working with Adobe Products, I prefer "dark theme", but why context menu in white(I am working on Windows 10)?Okey, you will say "On Windows the contextual menus have always been white", but why in Avid MC and DRV they got own context menu with dark theme? And I think, will be great to create a "new context menu design", because on Mac and Windows they got differect menuBut why you cant create a bar menu like in DVR, because for DaVinci is doesnt matter wich OS do you use And about this roundness on timeline. Right now I'm working on a trailer where I have a lot of cuts and, frankly, it's impossible to see the cuts when moving away from the timeline, click on the file without pressing the fx button.Yes, you took these roundings from DaVinci, but even there it's not done very clearly and well. Previously, when there were straight edges, the fx button was normal - no complaints at all. Now yI have to think, is there a gap between the clips
Anyone know when Adobe Premiere will be releasing their own version of a magnetic mask in Premier so we don't have to switch over to after effects?
Many times, in a long project, certain items are repeated.Dragging them with Alt does not have always desired results. Some times opacities get selected, or if one is zoomed a bit out and has to move a long way things can get messy. Same with copying and pasting if all tracks are not targeted etc. If Premiere could have a Split TimeLine View option, a vertical split line , where one side could move separately than the other, have different timeline zoom levels in each, then one could grab items from say the left view and drag (alt etc) to the right view, copy paste multiple clips etc way faster and with accuracy without errors.(A bit like the color match feature in Lumetri where one can scroll two protions of timeline to match the colors). Even Word proccessors have this option for reviewing different parts of the same document simultaneously. Then with a click, Split view closes and one continues editing normally.it would boost productivity immencely!
