Please integrate a loudness meter in the audio tool. By doing that the meter is always open and docked in the workspace. Now it is a trackeffect in the audio track mixer and always a floating window. I would like it if the loudness meter is aways visable.
This is one of the biggest reasons users are ditching Adobe and moving to Davinci, and I think I may be next. Are you sick of having to clean up a cascading waterfall of clips after using waveform sync to create a multicam sequence? I know I am, and I know Premiere users have been complaining about this for at least 10 years. Hey Adobe, can you help a homie out? When you selects a batch of clips in the project panel, right click, create multicam sequence, there are options to sync by in point, out point, timecode, sound timecode, and audio. Under the timecode option you also have options to "create single multicam source sequence" and track assignments by camera angle or camera lable. WHY YOU NO OFFER THESE OPTIONS FOR AUDIO SYNC??? I'm a documentary editor and in the indie world we often don't have the luxury of shooting with timecode. Waveform sync is often times the only syncing option I have, and when I create a waveform sync multicam sequence I'm stuck with an
Why can we only ever export one sequence at a time directly from Premier Pro? When doing a batch export we have to do it through a dynamic link to media encoder which I find to be slow and sometimes it freezes on the 'Preparing data for extport' progress bar.Why can we not have a built in Premier export queue like we have in After Effects? This is particularly frustrating when I'm trying to export a large campaign which can sometimes consist of 60+ seqences.
Our security team do not want users to be able to post directly to any social media platforms within Premiere Pro. I'm aware that the tabs can be turned off, but the users can simply switch them on again. Is there a way that these can be disabled so they are "greyed" out so they can't be switched on at all?
Hey everyone, We work on a lot of projects where accessibility is important, and we follow WCAG guidelines to make sure our subtitles are easy to read for everyone. A big part of that is sticking to limits for characters per second (CPS) and characters per line (CPL). Premiere Pro doesn’t show CPS or CPL when editing subtitles. It’s a bit of a pain because we have to use separate tools to check if everything’s in line with accessibility rules. It’d be amazing if Premiere could display this info directly while we’re editing subtitles. Is this something Adobe is working on, or does anyone have a good workaround? Would love to hear your thoughts!Dries
I will often times change the color of my clip in my timeline in order to define each clip/type more individually. As of now, I am disappointed with the color selection for the clip labels. Most of the colors are blue-ish or revolve around blue/purple/green and I find that the labels are not different enough to be able to discern between them. I think it would be a lot easier for my workflow if the colors were a little brighter and more diverse, even red, orange (not just mango), bright yellow, bright green, white, rich brown, etc. A lot of the colors are very similar for example rose and magenta, iris, teal and cerulean, violet and purple.
Can Adobe please develop a motion blur within Premiere like the RSMB? It would take many projects to the next level without having to go for an external plugin
This has happened to me multiple times. I set In and Out points to render something and I forget to remove them. I started editing a different part of the project, and at some point in the process, I accidentally deleted all of the footage that was in the In and Out points. There is no visual communication that this change has occurred, so there's no way for me to know that I made the mistake. Now I've potentially wasted hours of work by accident.I want this function to be removed or changed. I think this could be another option that is in the menu that appears when you right-click on the timeline (where the other options for In and Out Points are). That way no one accidentally deletes their footage. So if you're editing in a different part of the project and hit delete when nothing is selected, you won't accidentally delete footage you want to keep. On the other hand, the function is still available for anyone who wants to delete a portion of their video.I understand this is partially
Hello, it would be great if we are able to customize the color of the highlight when selecting "reveal in project" as I am finding that my eye is not drawn to the selection, especially in icon view . The color of the highlight currently is too close to the un-highlited version. If not customizable, then simply brighten it up, or perhaps change it to white or something. Thank you. Dan
When using premiere pro I can snap the main window to the screen as is normal in windows, but any popped out panels I have on other monitors (I use three) must be manually corner-dragged to fit the screen they are on. This is a pain. Ideally each window would act as a window in windows (:p), and snap/move/fullscreen the same as any other app. This would also stop panels getting lost in the ether between screens when moving between setups.
With masking, in Premier Pro, once you draw that mask you have to click and drag each masking point to the new spot unless you get perfect mask tracking. A big problem I see with clicking and dragging a lot of the time is it misses the point to move it and instead tries to curve the mask. Along with this, it is hard to determine if the mask is on point or not because of how big the blue boxes are. If we had an option to draw the mask from scratch instead of moving each point I believe that would make masking a whole lot easier. When you draw the first full mask around whatever you need masked, you go to the next frame and have the option to use the existing mask to keep masking or redraw the mask. This could also speed up the process of masking in some instances. On small masking projects where there are only a couple of points it would make it easier. Another way this could improve masking is it would make it easier to draw the mask when you have so many tiny little points close toget
We would like the option to export closed captions as .vtt files in Premire Pro, as you can for SRT files for closed captioning. VTT is the only format that can be used for transcripts, which is a requirement for accessibility in addition to closed captioning (SRT). Creating VTT files manaully or with different software is very time consuming. Would be extremely benefecial if this capability was added to Premiere Pro, as it is availble for SRT export.
Create two graphics elements in the timeline, or upgrade captions to graphics. Select both graphics to see that Transform controls (specifically "position") is not available Hold shift and select another type of clip in the timeline (video or adjustment layer, for example) The properties panel does not offer transform at step 2 but does at step 3. Can we please move multiple graphics without selecting an additional type of asset?
Hi, is there a way to either 1) have more than one "audio default transition" duration or 2) make custom transitions of different durations and then assign to key commands? I'm constantly using 2 frame or 24 frame transitions, and it would be great to not have to keep modifying one of them.
This screenshot was taken from a sound clip after it had filler words and pauses removed. As you can see in the latest version of Premiere there is still the issue of single frame lengths of sound are still left from deleted transcribed words and sentences. This leaves random bits of sounds silent or full of soundwaves in the middle of a sequence where the expectation would be that when a word or sentences are deleted no sound clips remain. The detection of sound waves and silence needs to improve to avoid inaccurate cutting. This is not the 1st time I have mentioned this about text-based editing and its glitches. It has improved significantly, but there is still more to do.Maybe analysing the clip can include user refinement where the noise floor and highest peak can be defined manually as well if that will help with the accuracy of the start or ends of peak detection. But the random single sound frames are very annoying. It makes the QC so much more tedious and time-consuming wh
I would love an overhall of the project manager - but the specific one feature I need is for more information on what the project manager progress window is doing when it has the analyizing project window come up - I can see in the background that it is usually copying footage already, but I need a live window into this - I want to see specific file names its copying, a percecentage copied for each file, the speed of copying progress on a per file basis, the elapsed time, etc etc. There is no way to know if the project manager has hung or frozen currrently as there is just a blue percetage bar that never seems to animate even though at the finder app level I can see progress is being made. Please fix this! Another option that I personally would love but don't know how feasible it is, is for there to be an option to avoid copying files on specific tracks (i.e. v1) I work in a collaborative editing paradigm as a freelancer, and frequently am asked to send project files back and fort
According to the CEP cookbook, the CEP engine decides which folder to use with this logic: ```How does CEP decide which extension to load?CEP first searches the product extension folder, then the system extension folder, and finally per-user extension folder.Extensions without an appropriate host application ID and version are filtered out.If two extensions have same extension bundle ID, the one with higher version is loaded. If two extensions have same extension bundle ID and same version, the one whose manifest file has latest modification date is loaded. If two extensions have same extension bundle ID, same version and same manifest modification date, CEP loads the first one that is found.``` However, if an extension load FAILS due to any issue such as a Signature Verification error, then it stops trying to load that extension altogether. So the suggestion is that in case of a failure, we work down this existing list and pick up the next best version of the same extension, e
Hello, I have been trying to load a project and I keep getting an error pop-up saying:Video Filter missing: RGB CurvesVideo Filter missing: Color Balance (RGB) Does anyone know how to resolve this issue on a M1 Pro Macbook?
Hi,Productions are amazing, but file organsation and duplication is an issue. From what i understand about Productions most people structure Productions similar to us which is:At the top layer have your main projects:EP 1EP 2...Have a folder/bin called "Assets" which has separate projects called...FooatgeAudioGraphicsThese are varied between Production houses, but the general concept of having your footage and other assets separate to your sequences, i believe is generally established.WHAT PRODUCTIONS NEEDS- Video Usage, Audio Usage collumns to recognise where files are being used across all projects in the production. When clicking the drop down menu, you will see the Project name, Sequence Name, and Timecode the file is used.- When deleting a file from a project, if it is used in ANY sequence WITHIN THE PRODUCTION a warning appears asking if you are sure as it is being used in a sequence. (Just like with a single project file)This would absolutely change the game for Productions
Dear Adobe Community, I'd like to address an important workflow challenge regarding the interaction between Warp Stabilizer and speed-modified clips in Premiere Pro. Current Issue:When attempting to apply Warp Stabilizer to a clip that has already been speed-modified (e.g., slowed to 50%), we receive an error message stating that warp and speed effects cannot coexist on the same clip. This creates a workflow bottleneck requiring nested sequences. Proposed Enhancement:It would be incredibly beneficial if Warp Stabilizer could:1. Access the original footage at 100% speed2. Perform stabilization analysis (on the small portion on the timeline)3. Automatically apply the speed modification while maintaining stabilization Benefits:- Streamlined workflow- Time savings- Reduced project complexity- Better organization of sequences- Improved final output quality Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this feature request and whether you've encountered similar chal
I would suggest putting the Change to Color plugin back in premiere. I went to use these features recently and noticed that they removed it in this version.
Dear Adobe, I'd like to suggest a new feature for Adobe Premiere Pro 2025. Currently, to move text in the Program Monitor, I have to first select the corresponding layer in the Timeline. This is a time-consuming process. My suggestion is to enable users to directly click and drag text elements in the Program Monitor to reposition them, without needing to pre-select the layer in the Timeline. This would significantly speed up my workflow and make text manipulation much more efficient. Thank you for considering my request. Sincerely, [BLUE BRID]
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who finds it annoying when going to the previous folder (up folder), the views change to whatever is set to that folder. The problem with that is the order changes when going up to the previous folder. (Ex. Sorted alphabetical FIlenames on List view but Sorted in User Order)Also, the file you highlighted will be lost, and you need to find it again on a different view. This is a pain if I have hundreds of footage.Lastly, the nested clips or sequences you created are hard to move to the parent folder, especially if you have multiple subfolders. This is because the view changes from LIST VIEW to ICON VIEW when you UP FOLDER. Can you please retain the view (ex. list view) throughout the entire project when clicking up folder?or maybe add the ability to drag the file or sequence or whatever it is to any tab open tab without opening a new window.
implement eye contact where Artificial Intelligence helps us maintain eye contact with the camera and for video creators with their audience and give that usual effect to the camera. That is, in pre-recorded videos where we are reading a text or script, this would make things easier for us. for example
