Flash Player (read-only)

Attempting to install Flash player on a mac. System requirements are met; old versions uninstalled. I keep getting this error message "Install Adobe Flash Player" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.

Hello community!I bought a book to learn a new language. It comes with a CD-Rom that has demonstration videos on it. It uses Firefox to show the videos, however, the only thing I can see is a white screen. I have Windows 10, since I am German I bought my laptop there. I bought the book in America. I already have the newest version of the flash player, I tried removing it from my laptop and installing it again. I tried starting my laptop again. I tried different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) and I also tried using an extern DVD reader with the region code for the US. Firefox is also updated to the newest version.Nothing seems to work, even though I can watch everything else that needs the Flash Player. I tried to change the Global Settings, deactivated the Plug In, using the admin on my laptop to play it.I cannot provide a link to the website because it says it is a local file (since it is on the CD-Rom). Does anyone have any ideas what could solve this problem?Thanks!

I'm not sure what the connection is here but several times I had a problem with an unwanted search page weknow.ac. I tried for days to get rid of it after an update was downloaded for Flash. Finally after uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome. I removed the Search page from Safari and all other places as instructed.I could not get rid of it even though the root was removed. Then I remembered the update and uninstalled Adobe Flash and Reader. It finally was gone.Today I went directly to this website and downloaded Flash again thinking the first one was bogus. Guess what came back?! weknow.ac. I uninstalled Flash Player again and it gone. I hope I do not need Flash, because I'm never downloading it again.Typically a choice is available to add extra apps. Maybe Adobe is unaware of this. Just saying. It was very frustrated.

Hi All,We are receiving a below error while accessing Microsoft stream videos only on IE-11/ windows 7We raised Microsoft Ticket #10867263 for the same, but this needs to be addressed from adobe end.If we install old version of flash player issue is not there.Below is the response from Microsoft(We suggest to open an Adobe support Ticket and resolve the mms.cfg/whitelisting issue+ to get the schedule for new Adobe to fix release mentioned in http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2018/06/fp-spectre.html document.)

Hello,I am not able to install Flash Player version 30 through Manage Engine and i use the following  syntax to install."flashplayer30ax_xa_install.exe" -installThe error that i receive is - The extended attributes are inconsistent.I reached out to the manage engine support team and this is what they say about this : We have tested the installation of the file using the -install switch and other switches manually, but the software could not be installed silently. That is the reason we have requested you to reach out to application vendor to check on this.We are installing this on windows 7 64 bit computers with IE 11 on it. The same error pops up wven if i try to install it on chrome or firefox browser.Can someone please check and advise on this.

I don't understand why this is happening, but Flash Player will not work when a Standard User is using the browser. It will only work when the browser is run as an administrator. Any way to fix this? I've tried to uninstall, and reinstall the player, and it still wouldn't work.The user is on Windows 7, 64-bit. Using IE 10. Flash not working for Standard User - YouTube

After i installed the last flash version i can't watch the live streaming on wsl site.

    After updating to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player I started experiencing problems with my computer's screen. It is an HP laptop. There are blinking white and black lines on the sides of the screen running horizontally. From my observation this occurs only on certain web pages and other programs. I have not been able to identify what is causing this problem with my computer's screen. Please help me as soon as possible. Thank you!

I'm having trouble with FP loading facebook games. I had the problem a couple weeks ago when I was using Google Chrome and I followed the instructions and disabled the PPAPI and it worked temporarily but after a week or so I started having the problems again so I uninstalled Chrome and was using Internet Explorer and it was working for a few days but I downloaded an update for Adobe it stopped again so I have re-installed Google Chrome. I have tried uninstalling Adobe and re-installing. I have followed all the help instructions on both this site and Google Chrome but with no luck obviously. The only other thing I can think of is uninstalling the latest version of FlashPlayer and downloading an older version? Any ideas?Please help!

I just want to download adobe flash player and be able to open it like an app. I have searched for hours and haven't found the answer. The picture is what I want it to be. I keep downloading adobe flash player but whenever I install it nothing pops up. I think it's because I'm installing the extension or whatever for the browser I'm using, which is chrome on windows 10 (64 bit) and I've tried downloading the archived versions of adobe flash player but it doesn't work. I don't care what version it is as long as it works.

I have tried multiple times to download flash player. Whenever I close safari or try to go to safari-->preferences-->security-->plug in settings... then there is no "install flash player' that comes up. What am I doing wrong?

I have just installed 30 PPAPI Flash into my Win10 PC and when I watch videos on Youtube or any websites, that is just so lag. There is one more thing that I deleted the other version, 22 PPAPI, I guess. Should i keep the newest version or bring the older one back?

Hello, Im pretty sure I had Adobe Flash Player on my computer but now its just gone. I need it to convert .fla files to other files. However it works on my browser as if it was there, however it is listed among Programs and Functions. I tried reinstalling, wiping it out completely and installing again. I tried following the instructions of multiple forums and that didnt help me at all. I use latest version of Opera instead of Google Chrome because of a virus that opens random fake in-appropriate  sites on it and it doesnt affect any other browser. I use Windows 7 Proffesional.

Hello,I need to view a .swf file for work. I've installed Adobe Flash three times. However, the file won't play and this website that my trainer sent me is telling me that it's not installed. I've tried using Chrome and Safari. Any advice?

I have followed all of the instructions on your website For allowing flash player in setttings  and have gone through those steps several times even after uninstall and re install and nothing works.  This is the website I'm trying to use and this is what I get every time.

I started to download the latest edition of adobe flash and the download got interupted leaving a white box in the middle of my screen in the same footprint as the adobe download window. I called apple support and went through all the restarts and eliminated all the installers and it is still there. It covers a large part of the middle of the screen and basically makes the iMac impossible to use. The apple tech said im probably going to need to have someone walk me thru completely removing and then reinstalling adobe flash. We cleared the cookies and there is no malware. Why - when I click on the Global Security settings panel - do I not see the setting panel and instead see a blank area.  See attachment.  And when I right click on the panel area, I get a truncated options box.  See attachmentIt doesn't matter what browser I user (Opera, Chrome, Edge, IE 11, Maxthon, Firefox) the Global Security Settings Page behaves the same (blank area). Flash over the last two weeks is not behaving correctly.  Another example is going to stagexl.org/demos/performance.  That page allows you benchmark frame performance with flash and html.  The html test works fine (small flags running across the screen).  The Flash page is blank and doesnt run. Hello,Ive been struggling with this problem for days, when i install Adobe Flash Player, it says that chrome is needed to be closed when it already is closed. It stops at 53% asking for chrome to be closed when i have. Ive done task manager, made sure other apps on chrome (google hangouts) where closed and off and it still hasnt worked. Ive researched on what to do but the few advice ive found failed. I have a Windows 8 and is installing the 64 bit,English,Chrome, and version 30.0.0.134I wait for a replay. Thank you!

I successfully installed the most recent version of Adobe FlashPlayer for Chrome PPAPI (confirmed already by Adobe), however, when I try to open PDF response files I still get an error message to install the Flash Player.Do I need the NPAPI flash player to launch flash content in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?I really don't care about flash content on the web, what I need is the Adobe flash content to open and display in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.I'm on a Windows 10 operating system.
