Hello! I just purchased an Acer Chromebook on Monday and currently I believe a combination of Shockwave/Flash is failing - I'm getting incomplete webpages with only the blue text (only some, others work fine), some completely blank webpages (Ex. Spotify Chromebook Webplayer), and the message at the top 'shockwave has crashed' whenever we try to get a video to play on some websites. I have spent hours on hours combing through google and forums and can't seem to find any solutions. Can someone please help me?
when am i watching a health video on https://twoweekdiet.wixsite.com/howtoloseweightfast the flash player keeps crashing. please help
We have discovered (as a byproduct of having issues) that Flash 27 has its own audio output settings. The problem is, that when we plug into a projector via HDMI, it's still outputting flash audio to the default device...which is the internal laptop speakers. All other system audio is going to the projector, as expected. Is there a way to shut that feature off? Ideally I'd love it be done via the mms.cfg file, but I don't see anything in the admin guide regarding those settings.
How do I install Adobe Flash Player

Hello, I've currently tried installing flash player and have gotten permissions issues endlessly. the installer always goes to about 56% (The moment it generates files in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash) and gives me a permission error and ends the installer. I've installed as admin, run as admin, safe mode as admin, I've removed the Macromed folder after running the uninstalled contained within it, and reinstalled. always ends the moment it generates those files again.System Details:Intel Core i5-4690k cpu @ 3.5ghz16gb ramWindows 7 home premium 64 bitOEM build4 SSD Drives C:\ is the main disk over 80gb spareBelow is the log file currently located in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\FlashAny Assistance is appreciatedFlashInstall64.log=O====== M/27.0.0.130 2017-09-22+02-10-57.194 ========0000 00001113 C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\\* 30001 00001113 C:\Users\Brennan\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\www.macromedia.com\bin\* 30002 00000010 "C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Temp\{
Hi Folks,I just updated flash player to 27 and checked if the new feature on all browsers on win XP works as expectedbut unfortunately the select box is blank. Does it mean that if there is only one output it's blank by default?if yes, so maybe it would be nice to just write built-in anyhow..thanks
When conducting the installation of pre-reqs for a vendor, they had me install Flash v19 onto our Win 2012 R2 server. Came to find out that patching the Flash was impossible given the method of installation. I then uninstalled the v19 from the Program and Features, indicated signs that the uninstall was incomplete. Needing to get the server working I then properly enabled Desktop Experience and had Windows patch for Adobe Flash v27 installed. However our vulnerability scanner is still detecting that Adobe Flash 19 is on the server.Current state:OS: Windows Server2012 R2 x64http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/Indicates that Adobe Flash 27 is installed.Ran the Adobe Uninstaller, it indicated that Adobe was successfully uninstalled. A top ranked website is telling me that my version of FP needs to be updated and so prevents me from doing my work. I run all the Adobe checks and am told that all is well, up to date, and the little tree grows. It grows, again and again and again as I keep running through the checks. The website tech group says to contact Adobe. What else can I check on my end to confirm that there isn't some old app residue stuck in my system that is giving either Adobe or Createspace a false reading?I am flat out dead in the water until I can get this resolved. Thank you in advance for any direction or advice.
why ? 26.0.0.151 worked fine27.0.0.130 seems to have the glitchnoticed they now have a specified speaker control butthat seems to be what caused the bug
I am using FF 55.0.3 which is the latest. When I try to use something that requires the Flash Player (Google Finance stock charts), I am prompted to enable the Flash Player. When I do I get the D/L page for an update to the Flash Player (27.0.0.130). I go through the process, it completes and congratulates me but when I then restart my browser and re-try web-page, the Flash Player update process repeats (need to enable, takes me to the update page for 27.0.0.130, install it again, then it repeats). I have been through this at least 3 times and nothing every changes even though the update succeeds, each time.Help! I am in Flash Player Update Hell. Jane, how do I stop this crazy thing?All I wanted was a stable Flash Player update which would finally correct the horrible problem the Flash Player has had for years where it constantly crashes and burns on just about every web-page it is called up from. Hello,I have a question/problem with the Adobe Flash Player configuration-file called "mms.cfg".I want to disable hardware-acceleration. Therefore I have created a file "mms.cfg" with the following content:As described here, I did open the website "https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html#main_Find_Flash_Player_version_type_and_capabilities__Flash_developers_only_", scrolled down to the tree-example, right clicked it and opened the settings.The dialog says, that hardware-acceleration is still being used!?Have a look at the following screenshot:It seems, that the configuration through "mms.cfg" doesn't work as expected.How do I disable hardware-accelleration?Thank you!Tested on:Windows 7 x64 – Flash Player 27 ActiveXServer 2008r2 – Flash Player 27 ActiveXServer 2016 – Build in Flash Player

OS X El Capitan 10.11.6Safari Ver. 9.1.2Flash Player Version: N/A1) I download Adobe for Mac OS X 10.6 - 10.122) I run the installation program3) I enter in my password4) An error pops up stating "application initialization error"Along with the normal version I have also tried downloading the offline (standalone) version of Adobe Flash Player but no matter what version of the program I run I keep hitting the same error wall.I use Kaspersky as my internet security program but it has never interfered with me downloading or installing programs like flash player, so I do not believe this is the issue.I have tried downloading both the normal and standalone version of adobe flash player with the same results. I even tried downloading flash player using Chrome, but that version too is giving me the same error. And yes, before you ask, I have done the general cleanup of cache, website data, and dump files on my Mac as well as restarted it. That hasn't worked either.If anyone has any suggestion

My Problem: Videos are not always working and because the Flash Player is blocked somehow or not working. I tried to test it with the Adobe tool, but it is marked as not activated as you can see. It also makes no difference using another Browser, i've tried Chrome, but it also isnt working.
