Flash Player (read-only)

I've been having issues getting the Auto Update to work in my organization. After some initial troubleshooting, I thought maybe it was being blocked by our network, so I've started testing on laptop connected directly to the internet through non-corporate wifi (no proxy/firewall). I am trying to follow the instructions on enabling Flash Player in Chrome on my Mac. Step 2 says to "On the Content settings screen, find the Flash Player listing. Check the status." The Flash Player is not even on that list for me. I have the Pepper Flash Player downloaded. How else can I enable Flash Player?

My flash player will not work in IE, Chrome, firefox or Opera. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice. I have read and acted upon every suggestion i was given and no luck.I cannot no longer play and games or video that require the flash player. I have allowed it permission in my http and in all the advanced settings in all those browsers too! I created a Excel 2013 Workbook with a User Form with a Shockwave Flash object. It works fine on the computer that I created the workbook on. Now when I pass this workbook to many other Excel users that do not have Flash installed, they get the message "cannot load an object because it is not available on this machine" and causes Excel to crash. What I would prefer to do is, in the Excel workbook_open event somehow test first to see if the Shockwave Flash object is installed and available in Excel on that computer and if so OK, otherwise if that object/control is not available I need to disable that control on the User Form to stop Excel from throwing that message/error/crash. Using VBA, is there an easy method to test this and if not installed an easy method to install it before the workbook fully opens/loads. I'd like to call the routine in the workbook_open event. I've posted this on several MS community sites and they said it is out of their scope.

I found a similar topic here: Flash player 23 & 24 memory leaks and debated whether or not to reply to it, but decided to create a new post instead. Running Windows 7 x64, Opera browser 42.0.2393.94 (latest as of this post) with no extensions or other modifications.I run four browser windows on a second monitor that each stream video using Flash. Ever since Flash player 23.0.0.162 was first released on 9/13/2016 (according to Archived Adobe Flash Player versions ) I started having problems. After about 15-20 minutes the video would start to become extremely choppy and the browser windows would become sluggish and slow to respond. The choppiness was not due to any network connectivity problems, it was the browser struggling to play the video. After the 20 minute mark there was a near 100% chance that Flash would crash with an out of memory error.I have used the uninstall utility and went back to Flash player 22.0.0.209 to test and the videos run like proverbial butter. Hi, I am having trouble with safari OS Sierra and Flash 25.0.0.171 - I have installed and uninstalled and apple took over my computer for 2 hours yesterday and no luck. The clouds in the adobe site move so it is installed. When I open the video I want to view it shows the initialising thing but then the screen is black where the video should be. My daughter has the same Mac and operating system and it played on her computer - so I do know its not the web site itself that has the problem. It works in Chrome. Any ideas - apple want me to wipe the computer and start again but IM DELAYING THAT if possible

Hello,I have a live stream video that I am watching with Adobe Flash Player.I need to calculate how much data I use with this Flash Player.Data could be in seconds or KB/MB. (I need to send this data to a database)e.g.: I watched 5 minutes of live stream, so I need to get '300' seconds from somewhere so I could add them to database. I could also use the size (KB/MB) that I would roughly convert into seconds somehow...Another approach could be by capturing exact time, when 'Play' and 'Stop' are used and calculate time difference between them. Is there a way to capture them?(Also what could be done if video was Stopped by exiting browser or closing tab/window with Flash Player).Any thoughts on this would be very helpful!(Sorry for my English, it's not native...)

With our Learning Management System (SAP Success Factor) we are using web-based trainings, started within the browser (Mozilla Firefox ESR 38.7.0 and Internet Explorer 11). The used operating systems are MS Windows 7 and 8.1.Since the Flash Player 21.0.0.182 is installed, web-based trainings with an assessment cannot be opened because there is a infinite loading process. The issue is reproducible on several machines. I keep getting this from certain websites.  I have Windows 8.1. It tries to download the freestanding installer but it says not necessary.  When I check, it says Adobe Flash is not installed. I do have Shockwave enabled and ActiveX disabled.  How can I get the Adobe Flash back. I know I had it at one time.  I have I/E and have tried to download latest to update Flash Player but since it isn't there, there is nothing to update (as far as the Adobe Flash Player.)   Help!  I am tired of getting this message and not being able to pull up pictures of things I want or need to see.Kathy M.

when testing my flash player in customer support, it says my flash player is disabled. when I go to advanced settings, it says I am enabled. My flash player isn't working, therefore I am assuming it is disabled. Help

After much searching I have found that I have an issue with Flash Player that has plagued people since at least 2008 and I have yet to find a solution that works. First, let me say this: if, after you've read this, you plan to post and tell me to use an Internet browser other than Internet Explorer 11 or to bash IE11 in any way, then please skip this post and troll someone else. I USE IE11. I do not use Chrome. I do not use Firefox or Opera or Safari or any of the other browsers out there. It is my choice to use IE11 and if you don't like it, keep it to yourself and move along. If, on the other hand, you think you have something productive and constructing to offer, then I am all ears.Okay, as said I use IE11 on Windows 7 (will never upgrade to 10, don't ask).
