For people who cannot update Windows 8.0 to 8.1 due to various legitimate reasons, are they stuck on Adobe Flash 20?Windows 8.0 has reached the end of life for Windows updates and it ALSO does not offer any updates beyond Adobe Flash 20,0,0,272.Again, this is for people who cannot under any circumstances update from Win 8.0 to 8.1... So if Windows 8.1 is not an option...Has anyone anywhere ever figure out a way to manually update Adobe Flash for IE under Windows 8.0?
I've been running into a problem where sites seem to lock up my mac while using flash and safari. I've tried to uninstall flash. I noticed that when it happens, the number of flash player threads multiplies - see attached image. I've had as many as 1600 flash threads on the processor during a lockup. This can't be normal?I'm running 10.10.5 on a late 2014 27" imac retina.Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,I'm having a bit of trouble getting hulu to run shows on my laptop.I'm not very tech savvy so I will try to explain my situation as best I can.I recently purchased a new Asus X540L laptop running Windows 10. I first attempted to run my hulu after setting everything up in Firefox, however each time I go to start a video I'm given the following message:There was a problem playing this protected content. (Error code: 3321)If this error occurs repeatedly, please follow these steps:1. Clear your Flash cache.. and then gives steps on how to do so2. Go to (Http//phtshp.us/aDzNKq) and reset License Files3. Try using another browser (and suggests using Google Chrome)Okay, so I try option 3 first, and get the same message, only it suggests using Firefox instead. So go back and try both options 1 and 2, following all of the steps carefully (and multiple times, I might add), and getting no results from either. So I then tried to Google my solution, only to be given the same solutions, with t
My games in facebook are not loading, ie. GSN Games, Slotomania and many others. Why !!!
When linking from FaceBook content, the linked audio plays but no video.Win7 with Firefox 46.0.1 with the latest flash player re-installed several time, and went through the TS page I still can't get the linked video to play. Audio is running but the video screen is black. I also sometimes get the permission window on linked videos but I get an error message when they try to load. Also, no real player installed. Video drivers (GForce 365.19) up to date as well.

Hello,I am Flex programmer and indirectly I have suffered each day with an instability of the plugin Flash Player , and Adobe worst of silence about it . Every day we rely on programmers of this plugin we get discouraged and sad about what is happening and we can not do much. Not even defend the technology because adobe is not interested does not advocate nor manifests.Today I came for an answer and I leave here registered my indignation , studied FLASH years I specialized in FLEX currently develop in Flex and AIR but to rely on Adobe solutions is a sudden everything might end up ? Adobe think of the hundreds and thousands of programmers who every day see technology that loves die and nothing can you do , how many people are dependent on it and has no answer. My apps are for hospitals and clinics , I can not and do not want to migrate to HTML5 for dozens of reasons. Help me to keep believing in you.
Using Windows 10 and I can't play simple card games, work puzzles or anything without constant pop-ups that states "setting... global settings... about adobe flash player 21,0,0,241" This happens almost every time I click on the mouse button!
I am aware that the flash player crashing issue is reported a lot and it is happenning for me as well. I have tried many of the common fixes but nothing has helped. However I have noticed or say, figured out a workaround to fix the issue. When the laptop (New Dell XPS 13) is restarted, the issue doesn't happen. It happens only when the laptop is switched on (from power off mode) and doesn't happen after I restart the laptop. Can anyone let me know if you have come across someone reporting a similar behaviour? Or any idea on what could be triggerring the crash in my case? The last time it happened I re-installed my PC and was working fine for about 3 months and after that it happened again. I really don't want to re-install everything again!Other observations:It is not browser related. I have even unistalled Chrome and FireFox and still noticed the issue happenning with Edge browser as well.Tried disabling Hardware acceleration in Flash settings but didn't help
When trying to play Double Down Casino in Facebook, the game won't load and I get an error 2048 message at the bottom of the page. How do I correct this error? Thank you.

Today we're pleased to announce that the next version of AIR is available for immediate download. This release of AIR provides an update to the captive Flash Player plugin included with the SDK and runtime.Below are some of the key features and benefits of AIR 21. Please see our release notes for full details.New Features:Media Auto Play for iOS & AndroidStarting AIR 21, we are introducing Media Auto Play support for AIR iOS & Android applications. Using this feature, ActionScript developers can enable media auto play inside. To enable this, autoplay should also be enabled in the HTML5 video tag. (More info on HTML5 StageWebView video tag: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_video.asp).Please use swf -version 32 or greater and namespace 21.0 or greater to access this feature.var webView:StageWebView = new StageWebView();webView.stage = stage;webView.viewPort = new Rectangle( 0, 0, 400, 300 );webView.mediaPlaybackRequiresUserAction = false;// To enable autoplay in give
In today's release, we've updated Flash Player with important bug fixes and security updates. Current Flash Player customers who have selected the "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)" update mechanism will be automatically updated to the latest version of Flash Player over the next 24 hours. The most recent Flash Player security bulletin can be found here: Security Bulletin (APSB16-15)New Features for Flash Player 21:GPU Memory Information In Context3DWhen a Context3D object is created, developers allocate memory for various Stage3D structures which include index buffers, vertex buffers, textures, and programs. Prior to Flash and AIR 21, the only way to verify the memory allocated by the current Context3D is through values displayed by Scout. With the release of Flash Player and AIR 21, a new property of context3D class called "totalGPUMemory" has been introduced which provides the sum of gpu memory used by the index buffers, vertex buffers, textures, and programs create
Things to note. This is happening on two servers but not for all users. It is not consistent between Admin/Std user accounts. I've matched IE settings with a working account, checked content filtering, cleared cache and cookies, removed/ reinstalled Flash, made sure flash is enabled, rebooted, tried safe mode, all of that. System info Windows SBS 2011 SP1 x64Intel Xeon 2.4Ghz16GB ramIE 11 (current)Again, flash works fine in other browsers. I'm grateful for any help with this issue.
I have a license to distribute flash player and I'm having a bit of difficulty because the page after I log in has only a title on it. No links. No content. Nothing to download.I *could* go with the download that the general public uses, but I don't need all of the add-ons and a good number of my machines do not have direct internet access.Who do I contact to let Adobe know they have a problem with their website?
I have a macbook pro and I’m running OS 10.10. My browser is Safari 9.1.Flash player NPAPI Plug-in version 21.0.0.242 is installed.Flash player PPAPI Plug-in- not installed.5/7/16- An identity protection service to which I subscribed sent a message saying my Adobe password was hacked. I changed the password. 5/15/16, 1 AM- While browsing using Safari a pop-up window appeared saying that my flash player needed to be updated. I (stupidly) clicked "OK". The window asked if I wanted it to install MacGuard, MacSecurity and another app. I clicked "no" to each, then "continue". It then asked for my administrator password to install Flash Player. Although I didn't type in the password and I closed the window it proceeded to install some files which alerted me that something was wrong. At the end of the installation my homepage was changed to Yahoo. I ran Malwarebytes. Malewarebytes identified some suspect files which I deleted. Then I restarted my computer. I just noticed a file in
So while randomly surfing the web, I got an installation notification from windows that was trying to install something, which I denied. A while later, I noticed a tab within Firefox that looked exactly like a "install Flash player" page. But the URL was something like oxiegoodmood.com. I've taken a screenshot of it and attached.Just wanted people to be aware of this potential virus/scam, etc.
https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb16-15.html is ambiguous as to whether Flash Player 21.0.0.241 (the version released on 5/10/16 via Microsoft Security Bulletin MS16-064 for Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1, & Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge on Windows 10) is vulnerable to CVE-2016-4117. In the bulletin, the Affected Versions table lists "21.0.0.213 and earlier" for Windows 8.1 and Windows 10; the Solution table lists the Updated Version as "21.0.0.242" for Windows 10 and 8.1.What is the status of 21.0.0.241?Also, it would help if the Affected Versions and Solution tables listed the products in the same manner - as of now they do not, and that makes it even more difficult to see what is really going on.Garrett

I have Windows Home Premium 7, on a Desk Top Computer, and I was running Mozilla Firefox.I installed what I thought was a valid version of Adobe Flash Player Update, that was bundled with McAfee Security Scan Plus; which I did not want. Before I could try and run it. My AVG Internet Security program, identified the File or Directory and Process, as being Malware. Before I delete it, could someone please verify that the following file is not valid?******What my AVG Program said:Threat: General Behavior DetectionObject Name:C:\USERS\OWNER\APPDATA\LOCAL\ADOBE\63015D06-B7EC-4305-A8FB-93D07D8934F8\62D2017E-69A9-ACEB-E16797A08104\ECD23B9D-Z83E-4229-B44A-31DF46D12A22.(It repeated this twice, once stating it was a File or Directory, and once stating it was a Process).(The "C:\USERS\OWNER\APPDATA\LOCAL" part of the file, is where it is located on my computer).********Is this malware or not? Should I uninstall it? If it is a valid file, how do I get my AVG to recogni
