Flash Player (read-only)

After upgrading to Flash 20.0.0.267 the embedded ActiveX control in our Digital Signage application displays white screens when flash content is playing.This is a CRITICAL problem.  Many of our clients automatically update Flash and this will keep our Digital Signage product from working at their facilities.Flash does however seem to work directly in IE and also in the Flash Player.  It seems only to be a problem with the embedded control in a .NET application.I will begin to gather more informationThanks,John

We have a problem on the latest version of Flash player, 20.0.0.267.1. The program(made by MFC ActiveX control or C# form) worked on prior versions(until 20.0.0.228), but after updated to 20.0.0.267, it doesn't work at all. Just a white screen.   When right-clicked, there was a message, "Movie not loaded".2. We guided our Customers (using Windows7 and under) to roll back to Flash player ver. 20.0.0.228. But, Windows 8 and Windows 10 users are not able to roll back.3. This problem caused enormous damages to the company. and our customers are waiting for answers.   We need the answers for our customers, As soon as possible. Hi guys, just wanted to let you know the recent flash update completely broke all our flash overlay tutorials.  They now show white screen with nothing else.Flash play with C program.

Yesterday, I reloaded some stand-along educational tutorials on my computer. These tutorials are  .exe files and make use of Adobe Flash. Instead of getting the video tutorials to come up like normal, I only get a blank white screen in the window that comes up. When I right-click on that screen it says, "Movie not loaded..."   I checked the version of Adobe flash player installed on my PC and it is 20.0.0.267.I have completely removed flash from my computer and reinstalled it, I have followed recommended troubleshooting steps, such as disabling hardware acceleration and clearing Adobe cache, etc., but this does not seem to help.Can someone please assist me?Thank you.

Ever since the latest flash update (.267 - made on Dec 28th 2015),  our download application cannot load properly.After loading, the app window (in IE frame) shows a white screen (image below).When downgrading to an earlier version (20.0.0.228) it works fine. Many of my colleagues who manage similar apps using Flash are experiencing the white screen problem and our clients are furiousWhy is that?How can it be fixed without asking all our clients to downgrade their Flash versions?Please help ASAP.

Is there any ways to compress and lessen the effects/quality of my flash file.I've already deleted some of tweens that could lessen the quality and effects of my file, but it still can't run smoothly on mobile devices such in android and mac phones/tablets.Thanks in advance.

Would you please help to resolve the white screen issue ASAP?We are one of the educational company in Hong Kong, and we have developed several learning applications based on Flash in these years and distributed these applications with CD-ROM.Website: http://www.kotech.hk/Unfortunately, the update of 20.0.0.267 lead to white screen issue in all of these programs.Our clients (including schools) are complaining it to us and we are not able to resolve this issue.Please refer to the attached image for your reference.

When loading our .swf with the latest activeX flash update and the , a blank white screen appears instead of the movie. Right clicking on this space shows : "Movie not loaded" greyed out, and "About Adobe Flash Player 20.0.0.267".User cannot interact further with the frame and this prevents our entire program from starting up.Please respond with a workaround or fix urgently.

Have not been able to get Flash Player to work since installing Windows 10...My PC is 64 bit, using Mozilla Firefox. None of the troubleshooting tips have worked. Please, any other ideas?

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my pc, which has RealTimes Downloader built into its Edge Browser.   I also have the RealPlayer/RealTimes Downloader enabled in my old MS Internet Explorer browser. However, whenever I download a Flash video from a web page using either browser, I am sometimes not able to play it with my Windows Media Player (only the audio portion shows up and plays) and such audio-only files will not open in my RealTimes Player.   Moreover, even if the complete Flash video downloads and is able to play in both players, I am not able to “trim” them using the Trim tool in my RealTimes Player, because it claims that I first need to install the Adobe Flash player.   However, whenever I go to Adobe.com to do so, it says that I already have the latest player built in to my Edge browser. Any idea what is causing these problems, and how I can fix them?  

I'm currently trying to get Instantstorm working for my PC again and what that is, it's a program where you can make custom screensavers and Flash Player ActiveX is needed. A few days ago, my screensavers were working fine, then my computer decides to update and now they don't work anymore. I even tried to revert to an older previous version of Flash Player, but of course I run into even more errors. I'm currently trying to get it working for Internet Explorer, but no luck. Apparently the ActiveX plugin is installed on Internet Explorer and even says enabled. Adobe help provides all sorts of info on installing the Flash player on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome etc but nothing on Windows 10. Have they got a different version !

Hello and happy new year.Today I uninstalled KB3132372 Update from Windows Update (Windows 10 Pro x64) and immediately the Screensavers I create on myproject website http://www.screenclocksaver.com are working again.I've added this info (temporary fix/workaround) on the homepage, so my customers to be able to use the products they've purchased.I hope Adobe to work with Microsoft soon, so there will be a new update on Flash Player via Windows update or via Flash Player itself.Keep up the good work and please test before release any new versions

It will play for 2 seconds and the plugin will crash. It works fine elsewhere. Only crashes on Dailymotion!! disabled Hardware acceleration and protected mode and still crashes.

Microsoft released a new WIN10 patch KB3132372, after 64 bit operating system update the patch, open an application which contain IE kernel , if there is a flash load, PC application will white screen or collapse.Thanks any help!
