Flash Player (read-only)

After Chrome updated Adobe Flash Player to version 19,0,0,245 I have been unable to play Facebook games due to erratic mouse/pointer action. I have tried other browsers; game specifies upgrading Flash and I  have been unable to figure out how to install earlier version of Flash.My laptop is Vaio, Windows Vista 2007.I do not know how to locate Chrome version. The games worked properly prior to this update. (Coral Isle, Gourmet Ranch, Farmtown)

Greetings,first of all I'm very sorry but this is the only way Adobe allows me making a support call for this kind of matter.Is it possible to use Adobe Flash Player on Windows computers in an educational PC-lab? I haven't found any information about this because on the one hand these computers are not for private use and on the other hand we are not an OEM distributor. Both terms of use don't really fit for us.It would be nice if Adobe Germany could get in contact with me about this matter.Best regards

Hello, I am an older person attempting to commence an automated online job interview. The software's screenshot instructions show I need to enable microphone and camera using Adobe Flash Player settings. I downloaded and installed Adobe Flash Player on my laptop but cannot find the icon or Settings. I phoned Adobe Tech Support but after 55 mins on hold, when they answered they couldn't hear me and hung up. Can anyone help? Btw job interview is not for IT rofl

MY Flash player will not work and it is turned on and the Activex control is set right  and it says that its not installed, but will not let me install because it is supposed to be part of Microsoft Edge?

I need to have adobe flash player installed to use a website.   I installed seven times.  It says it installed successfully and still does not work.  Tried calling customer service and they were absolutely useless.  Can someone help me as to why if it installed successfully I cannot access websites!!!!!

Hi,I'm using Mozilla Firefox on Windows 8.1, with Adobe Flash Player,and I keep getting an error while loading a video:"Video UnavailableWe are having trouble playing this video.Learn More"This happened only on Facebook. On YouTube the videos are loading fine. I tried every single solution Adobe and Mozilla are offering in both of their help centers, but nothing helps, the videos simply doesn't load on Mozilla Firefox. Hello, I've been experiencing a playback issue with flash player on my google chrome browser.PPAPI is enabled under chrome pluginsPepper_Flash wont updategetting playback issue with Livingelectro where it skips through the song when i hit play button and on Vodlocker i get error #1088 and the video wont play.thanksMartin Caron

Flash player is installed on my system but indicates it is not enabled  yet I can't get to a screen to enable

I have tried everything suggested, it still downloads very slow, like 1/2 second video and sound for like every five minutes of wait time. It would probably take more than 24 hours to view a 30 minute video like this. I tried you-tube and streaming video on other sites and it still is too slow to watch. A couple of days ago I could download streaming video from one site that allowed me to use REAL PLAYER, and WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER and they down-loaded streaming video in real time the way they should, so it can't be blamed on my ISP, or video card, or machine, or anything else, it has to be the Adobe flash player that want work correctly. I uninstalled and installed many times and still will not work right. I had IE 7 and uninstalled it and am now using IE 6 and will not even work with IE 6 either. Too bad the streaming video site that worked perfect doesn't offer a choice of players anymore, they switched to Adobe flash player, a real bummer, Does anyone have a magic solution ?

I installed windows 10 on my daughters laptop and ever since she cannot watch youtube videos or anything that relies on Shockwave to play. The playback jumps and the sound is reminiscent of max headroom having a glitch. I have searched online for a solution but everything relates to windows 8 or earlier. The type of things tried so far, have been to check that it is enabled using the cog icon in IE and managing add on's. I have tried to disable hardware acceleration but this does not seem to be achievable in Windows 10. I tried to uninstall to reinstall but again could not find a way of doing this as it does not show up as a program. Please help.

When I try to start an ACORN video, the flash player appears to start -- the blank screen appears with the pause/play button and time line displayed correctly.  When I click on the play button the play icon changes to the pause icon, but the video does not play.  I am running CHROME Version 46.0.2490.86 (64-bit).   Adobe flash player plugin version 19.0.0.245 (Shockwave Flash 19.0 r0) and linux 14.04. 

Whenever I click on a video in Facebook that launches a Flashplayer, it is at FULL VOLUME. I see no way to make a change, let alone a permanent change.  Please help!   I use a PC w/XP.

I'm using Windows 10 with Firefox 42  since a few days and I can't find Adobe Flash Player anymore ( with Windows 8 I knew where it was and I was able to update it). But now, I've checked on Adobe site if I had it and he told me I had it on my computer and it seems I can watch videos but when I search in downloads or programs files or even in c:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\FlashPlayer, I can't find it. So please where can I find it? I have MacAfee installed on my desktop and find it in program files. I've also checked Adobe Shockwave (19.0 r0) and it's enabled. Sorry for my english, I'm french. I hope you'll understand what I've written. And thank you in advance to anyone who may answer me!

As chrome is pausing flash swfs, is there a way to detect whether it is being paused?

M.E. repeatedly tells me that the newest Flash Player isn't installed on this browser but in fact, the system says otherwise stating, " that it's integrated into Windows 10.." I have tried all the troubleshooting solutions and tips to no avail with several restarts to my browser and laptop...NOTHING WORKS.

i'm using windows 10 and firefox browser and suddenly videos and facebook games won't work. they worked until last night, but won't work today. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling both flash player and firefox, but nothing works. the games won't load and i get error #2048 when i try the videos. please help.

I have Windows 10. I have Microsoft Edge. Flash player will not work despite it saying, it's embedded. I have re-installed Windows. Flash as well, updated in control panel. It keeps telling me to enable flash in settings via Edge but it is enabled. Still says it's disabled. Miserable Loop of not working and crappy advice. Help please!

I am using Windows 7 and  IE8 32-bit.  Every time I start my computer and try to display some web video, it will ask me to up grade my flash player.  After I re-install Flash Player from Adobe site, video will show with no problems.  If I restart my computer again, the same thing will happen.  Have to install Flash Player again to watch on line video.  I checked control panel and the Flash Player is there and the following files are in the Flash folder under:C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\FlashFlash64_10_2_161.ocxFlashinstall.logFlashUtil64_10_2_161_ActiveX.dllFlashUtil64_10_2_161_ActiveX.exeAny help rendered will be very much appreciated.

Ever since I updated to Firefox 41.0.1, Shockwave Flash has been crashing on me whenever I use it on Firefox. I am on Firefox 41.0.2 and this issue has not been resolved. This is a crucial issue. The last crash report I have is from October 26. I have a problem with opening sites that need flash player like formula1.com and facebook games like criminal cases and candy crush although other flash games are working well like spades plus and 8 pool. It started only one week ago in all browsers like chrome, firefox and edge.I tried everything I could like updating, uninstall and reinstall of the browsers and flash player and all steps in adobe help but no use.I am using windows 10 on HP envy dv7 notebook.Please I desperately need your expert help.Thanks.

I have all of the latest updates, and have also unchecked hardware acceleration in player. The video will continue after I move the mouse, but the situation happens all over again until I move my mouse. This happens on all browers, and it makes it impossible to enjoy watching a video having to move the mouse every minute  or less to get video to continue playing... PLEASE help. Thanks. I should add this is not just on youtube which hasn't worked for months. This is all video.
