I need to convert .fm to .png file.Please let me know how to do it?

Happy Friday!This is a simple problem, but for some reason it's still beating me.  I am not a FrameMaker Samurai yet, more like a brown belt, if that helps!Here's the scenario:I have 70+ Figure Titles with images right above them throughout the document, and in my Appendix section, I created a neat little Figure Reference table with the Figure Titles (Figure X-Y) in one column, and the description in the other column.  What I want to happen is for the user to click on a figure Title and be transported into the document where the title is placed at the bottom of the page, allowing the image to be viewed.  What's happening now that I don't know how to fix is that the target shows up at the top of the page when you click the link to it, so the image is on the next page above, out of sight.What setting am I missing here?  Happy Friday everyone!

I have a document (well, many documents) that includes print-quality images.When publishing to html5, the images are downsampled into jpgs (that's fine), but the quality is not as good as when I create my own lower-res JPGs of the images.So... where I have an anchored frame with a high-res image, I put it in a 'print only' conditional tag, make a copy on the next line and put the low-res image into *that* frame with an 'html only' conditional tag.Some of these frames are in indented paragraphs, some are not. I want the frames to follow the indentation level. I found that I needed to set the frame to be 'At Insertion Point' (if I used 'Below Current Line', I had to use specify alignment (left / right/ closest to binding/ farthest from binding), which are not appropriate).However, when I mark the paragraph (with the frame) as conditional ('html only') and publish, the image *right justifies* on the web page instead of left justifying at the indentation point (e.g. on a non-indented parag

How do I change the format off all paragraphs in a document with specific characters without effecting the rest of the paragraphs above or below the targeted paragraphs? Frame 11.If I paste Bullet format I get this extra paragraph:

I have some documents in FrameMaker 2017 and I am experimenting with publishing them as html5/app. They contain tables though, and the tables do not resize dynamically to screen like the text does, when I do the conversion. This makes publishing to both print and html5 awkward because the tables look narrow in print but ok on the phone/tablet. Have I misunderstood something basic here?Bjørn

Hi all...I am facing difficulty in finding the "New Format" in Commands Pod in Paragraph Designer. It was easy to save my custom formats and apply the same in all my docs in FM 2015 Version. I updated to FM 2017 and I am finding it difficult to find the "New Format" in Commands. I recently updated to 2017 version. I am having trouble using an SVG in a document.  FrameMaker seems to mess up part of the SVG when I import it.  Below is a picture of the SVG in FrameMaker and in Chrome.  It displays correctly in Chrome.  Any help or advice to make this work would be much appreciated.  Thanks,Peter

I saw a few other posts on this. Seems like two column text frames do not flow well with HTML5. I want my HTML5 output to flow like my PDF. I am okay with the two column layout going into 1 column with the HTML5 output, but why is the Caution body text going above the text frame in HTML5? I do not see any text frame options under the HTML5 settings to try and correct this. HTML5 output is the left. PDF is the right.

Is there a way to find and replace \p\p with a paragraph type with an anchored frame attached? FrameMaker 11 unstructured mode.Thanks to all in advance.Rog.

Hi All,I wonder if a FM scripting solution could be developed to update text insets in a FM template file.The scripting solution must have similar functions as those of "Import text flow by reference" FM command and be able to check Master page name. Hi,I tried searching this out and did not come across anything. If I create two small pages, let's say the first page is Warranty information and can be used across 20 product lines. I create a new page about Testing Information, this can be used across 5 product lines. When I place these pages into a book format and print, how to I get them to flow onto one PDF page?Should I add the first 1/4 page to the book then import the second 1/2 page? Hello,Above is a screenshot of my TOC file. I'd like the "Chapter 1" line to be a little farther away from the "Table of Contents" line above it. However, when I click in front of "Chapter 1" and hit Enter, it breaks the hyperlink. Is there another way to do this? Below is a screenshot of one of the master pages, in case it helps.

Technical Communications Suite 2.0 correctly shows up on my Registered Products page along with its serial number. However, the computer that TCS2.0 was installed on is defunct. (I do have the readable HDD from that machine, which contains the installed TCS2.0.) The original installation CD has been lost. This 2.0 version of TCS includes Photoshop, which I need to install on the new machine. Everything else I need is in TCS4, which is already installed on the new machine, but Photoshop was included only in TCS2.0—hence my need to recover it. There is a web page that covers this situation ("Download product versions 2015 release, 5, 4, 3.5, 3, 2.5"), but it appears to cover TCS2.5 and above, not TCS2.0.I can see two paths forward in this case, and I don't know how to do either of them:(1) Find out how to do the download/reinstall procedure outlined in the above-referenced web page for TCS2.0 (includes Photoshop).(2) Port the installed TCS4 (or just Photoshop if possible) from the old de

I'm hoping someone can help.I'm working on a project, and they would like the first paragraph of a single text quote left un-indented, but the second paragraph to have "normal" indentation.I haven't been able to find a way to do this, as changing indentations with the ruler/other workarounds seem to only affect the top/first paragraph in the quote. I'm building a multi-document book -- a manual for a piece of equipment -- and I just discovered that I need to add a few more sections in one of the documents to explain a few more procedures.My document is left to right on the pages.  I know I'll have to redo the TOC, but I'm OK with that.I need to add a 2-page spread in a few places to add these procedures and corresponding images.  I cannot for the life of me here figure out how to add two pages in the middle of my document to do this, I'm going to have to do it a few times for the few procedures extra I need to add.  I tried carriage-returning to give myself some space, but I have anchored frames with images and details all over the place and that didn't work.Any help would be greatly appreciated!
