Dear team, I don't know what happened in backend from last two days the bookmarks are not coming after saving as pdf in framemaker.. Attached pdf set up and final output of pdf..  Kindly clarify me what might have happened in backend..

I am finding that my PDF output does not include a bookmark for the table of contents generated from a DITA map.If you think this is a good idea, you can vote for it at the Adobe Tracker site (tracker.adobe.com).I have submitted a bug to Adobe: FRMAKER-9769

I'm working with a two-page LOT file. The master pages are defined as First and Last. On the First master page I have a title, "List Of Tables", with the paragraph tag "Heading 1 for Lists". I defined a Running H/F 12 variable as  "<$paratext[Heading 1 for Lists]>". I inserted the Running H/F 12 variable into the footer on the Last master page. I made sure that the corresponding body page is using the "Last" master page. However, the Running H/F does not appear on the body page. I'm not having this problem with any of my other files. What am I missing? Any and all suggestions/solutions very much appreciated.

Hello,In FM, when I save as PDF, FM export the FM file to a PDF, but it create also an HTML log file.How to have only the exported PDF (without the HTML log file) ? 

When connecting to a SharePoint repository, I get an error 'The HTTP request was forbidden with client authentication scheme 'Ntlm'. How do I correct this so that I can connect to a SharePoint repository?

Hello,I am trying to do a link to external document, that is not in the book structure.I am able to do a link to website, but I am not able to open pdf or html file, that is saved in my PC.Let´s say that I want to do two links (italic blue text), that can be found by the path below on the photo. How could I do that please?And is there some way how to insert a relative path to a document just in case, that the other user save the destinated files to a different folder? Thank you very much. Adam 

I sent FM files to someone for edits, but Imges inserted to it are asking for location. Is there a option by which I can sent a complete FM files to someone where there is no image's location issue.

Referring to How to detect disconnected pages: I have a problem interpreting the term "disconnected page". I have a 6 page document On page 4 I set Format > Customise Layout > Disconnect Next Pages 1 - 4 are in Flow A, same for pages 5 and 6. The two areas ar disconnected: Now I run a script derived from Rick's (ZIP on my website, script is  in subDir Demos ) It reports pages 1, 2, 3, 4 as disconnected. Yes, they are disconnected from the rest. ► IMHO I do not get a direct information, on which page I  have to fix the conncection (4). I am publishing a book to HTML5. It contains several sections (chapters) each is a separate fm document within the book.I have set the HTML5 mappings to split into topics based on style Heading1 which gives me a new HTML page for each Heading1 - which is great.I have also set the paragraph style 'ChapterHeading' to also split into topics - this is a higher level heading than Heading1 and appears once at the start of each chapter (ie. each separate fm document in the book).This appears to create two higher levels in the TOC in the HTML document - see the attached example.Why is it adding two levels?The only settings I can find which control topic splitting in the HTML5 output are:Style Mapping > {Paragraph Style} > Split into topics based on this style (which I have set as above) andStyle Mapping > General Settings > Split into topics using marker - this is unchecked.I am using a modified version of the 'Theme3_Black" HTML5 template from the framemaker 2022/Robohelp template

Hello all,I´m trying to find the solution how to change publishing settings to generate and save .pdf file directly to the chosen Output Folder.  Now it automatically creates new folder 01_HLAVA1 in the Output Folder: Then sub-folder PDF: And then finally I can find .pdf file. Do you have any suggestions how to solve this? Thank you. Adam  

I have some graphics in my FrameMaker document which need to fit the width of the page.When I export the document to HTML5 they seem to be fixed to exactly 642.52pxI would like them to be 800px wide however there doesn't seem to be anywhere to set this.I looked in the Publish Settings > Edit > Style Mapping > Image Setttings and alsoPublish Settings > Edit > Style Mapping > General Settingsbut there seems to be no way to adjust the pixel value of the 'full-width' HTML output.Is there any way to do this other than manually editing the <object width="xxxx"> tag in the HTML?

I'm creating an element in my EDD to add custom HTML/CSS tags using Prefix rules.  However, I found that FrameMaker automatically adds the ">" character to the end of the Prefix rules, e.g. the Prefix Rule: <a href= shows as <a href=> in the document. Using Autonumbering can't be used because the autonumbering isn't copied when we copy the text from the document into another application.Why is FM adding the extra ">" character and how do I stop this from happening?

I am using FM2022 to publish HTML5 OLH. Up until now, I have had no problem with the HTML5 TOC, but now I am getting a few stray, or "phantom" entries. Oddly, these phantom entries are not part of any heading, so technically should not appear in the TOC. As expected, they do not appear in the TOC in FM nor the TOC in the PDF.

Hello,In Frame Maker I have opened 4 FM files at one time.I have noticed that the units are all in "inches", but I would like to have the units in mm.So in the first FM opened document, I gone in View/Options and change it from inches to mm and it worked.But for the others documents they remain in "inches".How to set the unit in mm in the preferences ? Or is it a way to have the units in mm for all documents I will open ?

Hi all, I want to delete all empty pages of the document. When there are empty disconnected pages added I can't detect them in order to delete. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance

I am creating some new documents based on older documents and they have a creation date variable inserted. I would have expected the creation date variable to update, once I save my document under a new name, but that does not happen. How do I fix it?  

I am trying to write a script in Extendscript that will allow us to import a multi-page PDF into the FrameMaker document using the script instead of inserting one page at a time.We are currently using FrameScript to do this, but I know that FrameScript is going away at some point and we will eventually need to convert to Extendscript. So I am trying to stay ahead of the curve. Does anyone already have a script that they use that does this? Or any tips for how to begin to create this script? Thanks for your help!

Once I Save the file in Adobe FrameMaker, can't I undo?

I am trying to replace the buller with a checkbox in a paragraph style in framemaker 2019. I understand that I should be using unicode text, and am close ... but not quite there. in the paragraph designer, I enter, for example: \t\u2714  to start the paragraph with a tab and check. I've tried a lot of unicodes; many don't work at all. a few work in that they display correctly in the paragraph designer, but they show up as a "?" in the actual paragraph.  what am I missing?  thanks for any guidance.
