I often need to copy text out of screenshots, scans, and flattened comps. On my phone I can long-press to select text, but in Photoshop I have to leave the app (e.g., Acrobat or third-party tools) just to OCR. Please add built-in OCR so I can:• Drag-select text directly on the canvas and copy/paste it.• Convert recognized text to editable Type layers (preserving font/size when possible, or at least positioning).• Batch OCR a folder / current document’s layers via Actions/Scripting.• Choose language packs; work offline; keep data local for privacy. This would save huge time for designers doing localization, accessibility, and quick content edits, and would keep the workflow inside Photoshop.
I note that there is a new library 'tray' that opens every time I save an asset to a library that sits at the bottom of the browser window. However, it's not moveable and covers the only navigation interface to move/go back to the next search results, forcing me to keep closing it. I find it hard to believe that the interface designers didn't see this issue.Additionaly:It's huge - it could be half the sizeIt looks like you should be able to drag and drop assets into the library (a good idea) but that doesn't workNot moveableNo option to hide it (which I would do immediately as it's just plain annoying).
Photoshop’s text style system is badly undermined by the lack of visual feedback around what styles and overrides are actually active. When I select text, Photoshop should clearly tell me: the current paragraph style the current character style what attributes come from each what has been manually overridden whether the selection contains mixed states Instead, the current experience often feels opaque and inconsistent. A style gets applied, some things change, some do not, and Photoshop gives very little explanation why. That makes the feature feel buggy even when it may technically be following an internal hierarchy. Please add: clearer active-style indicators visible override indicators a way to inspect effective formatting a reliable, obvious way to strip overrides and return text to the actual defined style This would make Photoshop text styling dramatically easier to trust and use.
I am building an automated system, where I need to connect a lot of layers each to their own Track Matte. I can think of an expression that takes the layer names and link all to a Track Matte with a related name. Unfortunately Track Matte selection is not possible via Expressions.Would be great to have!
I only ever use Remove Attributes to remove one specific effect I've applied to a bunch of clips. I hate that I have to untick everything except fot the one effect each time I use this. But I imagine there are some people that want to remove everything each time.So there should be a toggle or checkbox that selects or deselects everything. And it should remember the last set up you had like Lightroom does when copying effects over. For eg, if last time I used Remove Attributes, I had only the Motion and Opacity checkboxes selected, then next time I open up that box, those two should be the only ones selected. Then if in the future I need to remove everything for eg, at least there'll be a button to quickly select all the attributes.
I propose to implement an AI Slow Motion feature that allows users to create high-quality slow-motion videos directly within the timeline, eliminating the need for third-party tools like TOPAZ Video AI. This integration would utilize advanced frame interpolation algorithms to generate smooth, professional-grade slow-motion effects seamlessly.Justification:Enhanced Workflow Efficiency: Users can produce slow-motion content without exporting to external applications, saving significant time and effort.Competitive Edge: This feature is already available in industry-leading tools like Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and its inclusion ensures competitiveness in the market.Improved User Experience: Offering a one-stop solution for video editing will increase user satisfaction and retention, reducing reliance on third-party software.
The Python API has always had the ability to load and save files, but no way to read write or use the Recent files. Unless it is undocumented or somewhere else besides the substance_painter.project module. For now, someone needs to create their own UI or Recent File list if a pipeline tool is created for saving projects. Pythin API Function Request:- Ability to read the list of Recent Files.- Ability to add to or edit the list of Recent Files.- Saving or Loading either adds to the Recent Files, or that the open/save/save_as functions offer a save to recents flag/option.This would make wrangling projects so much easier. Thanks again for the fantastic integration
Why is Sora 2 not inside Firefly boards? Can it moved back there? also including the duration options?
Please add the ability to expand an existing mask by a specified number of pixels in Lightroom Classic, similar to the Expand option in Photoshop. This would allow users to slightly enlarge a mask to refine edge coverage without manually brushing around the selection. It would be very useful if this feature were available for all mask types in Lightroom Classic. Appreciate your consideration. Charis Pavlou
If I write the same prompt in other websites, they gives me very beautiful models. Like Indian women, men, animals and the culture eetc. But firefly is very bad… You can check with my creations and the prompts
Hi Adobe Community and Team,I am transitioning from CorelDRAW and Illustrator to InDesign for my publication projects. While I understand that InDesign is frame-based, I find it very cumbersome that we cannot simply click and type without manually creating a text frame first. In Illustrator, we have 'Point Type' where a single click allows us to start typing immediately. This would be a huge time-saver for small labels, page headers, or quick annotations in InDesign as well.Is there any plan to introduce a 'Point Type' behavior or a shortcut to create a text frame with a single click in future updates? Thanks!
Sometimes I begin a project with model selection. I run the same prompt in multiple models to see what they do with it and then choose which one to continue with for the rest of the project. I wish I could easily select multiple models to do this with.
We need a solid mask and object tracking tool directly within the Effect Controls panel. The game-changer would be the ability to link the tracking data to another object or layer, similar to how Null Objects work in After Effects. Having to use Dynamic Link for simple position or scale tracking is an unnecessary bottleneck in the daily editing grind.
Bring the Flux.2 [max] model into Firefly and Photoshop!!! It is crazy that ElevenLabs has it there and not my flagship graphics programs :(
The current velocity graph editor in Premiere is far too clunky and makes it unnecessarily difficult to get the exact curve you're looking for. It’s a constant struggle with the UI just to get a smooth ramp. We need a complete overhaul to make keyframe manipulation fluid and intuitive—similar to what the Smoothify plugin achieves. On top of a better UI, adding a native Curve Presets feature (like Ease In/Out, Elastic, or Custom Bezier presets) would be a massive productivity boost, allowing us to apply consistent motion without manually tweaking handles every single time. We need to spend more time editing and less time fighting the graph.
The ability to see a waveform and the video at the same time.
I find it pretty awkward how the video and audio tracks are in their own separate panels with two different scrollbars working independantly. Is it possible to have all the video + audio in just one panel? I know it would mean more scrolling up / down overall, but I'd find it a lot easier than having two scrollbars
Adobe, you USED to be easy to love. Firefly is decent for prototyping images and small product videos, but there’s no clear “in progress” or time bar after clicking Generate, so I WASTE credits and feel constant FRUSTRATION.
An excellent feature that I believe many can take advantage of would be the ability to take markers in the marker pane and convert them into subclips with CTRL/CMD + U (indivudally or with multiple selected.) Subclips would be created either from marker to marker automatically or (if the marker had a duration defined) the subclip would be the length of the marker range. Subclips would automatically receive the name of the marker.
Hi Adobe Team,I’d like to suggest an enhancement to Photoshop’s masking workflow that could benefit both intermediate and advanced users. Currently, creating precise masks from colour data often requires multiple steps — using channels, Apply Image, Selective Color, and Levels — which can be fiddly and unintuitive. My idea is an Advanced Masking Panel where users could: Select a source channel (RGB, Lab, or individual channels) Adjust hue range sliders to isolate specific colours Adjust luminance sliders to target highlights, midtones, or shadows Preview the mask live and refine it interactively before applying This would allow users to isolate very specific pixels — for example, only the brightest blue highlights in wave spray — without inadvertently selecting background elements. The workflow would remain non-destructive, visual, and much more accessible, reducing trial-and-error while retaining full creative control. It’s a small enhancement conceptually, but it could dramatically simplify advanced masking, making Photoshop more intuitive and powerful for a broad spectrum of users. Thanks for considering!
