Is there any way to set the default new sequence settings in PP25.2.1?For example; on this sequence dialog, I would like the output to ALWAYS be Rec709, and working Space Also to be REC709, regardless of the media type on the timeline. In my case I have lots of HLG footage I put on the time line, but need everything to be REC709 out. Currently, I change it every time I create a new sequence, but would really like to have a default; As a side note, I wish they would mark the timeline visibly so you can see what it is is (for output color space and working color mode) so you don't have to edit the seq settings to confirm; it doesn't even seem to appear as metadata options for sequences in the project window either.
The sketching pencil in Fresco is the best pencil. There are none like in in Photoshop. i tried a lot, but realy they are al minor to the one in Fresco. As I work on one project partly on the Ipad and partly in my Macbook, I need to use the same bushes in both programs. Load brushec from PS to Fresco is possible. But not the other way round. And Thats the way I need to go with this nice sketching pencil. Please remove this obstruction.
I've been playing around with the new generative fill feature and one feature I'd really like to see implimented is the ability to toggle whether or not the fill pulls visual data from nearby artboards. I don't see lot of use cases where it'd be valuable to be able to do that and what often happens is the scraps of visual data from nearby images will muddle the final result. I often use Photoshop to comp together storyboards and it can get frustrating if I'm just trying to extend a scene in an ocean image and the results come out with bits of brick wall from a nearby artboard. I think a toggle feature would allow you to decide what would work best for your workflow.
In Premiere's transcription you have the ability with "filler words" when selecting a particular filler result to "ignore" it. However, with "pauses" this same functionality is missing despite being the same result interface. This would be *very helpful* to implement as sometimes laughter is picked up as a pause, which would be helpful to remove/ignore from the result pool.
I use losts of transitions.. audio and video. Occaisionally I need to remove many , but there is no way to do this except one at a time. Painful and slow. Can we please have feature to select a range of items on timeline, right-click and "remove transitions" ? Thanks.
Hello,I've noticed that the AI used by Premiere for transcription is not very accurate when it comes to punctuation. It often misses commas where there are clear pauses, places periods where a comma should be, or uses commas where a period is more appropriate.Additionally, it struggles to recognize certain words related to 3D software, such as iClone, which it consistently transcribes as "icon" or even "AI icon". At first, I thought this was normal due to the names being uncommon, but when I tried transcribing with Azure and Google, they were able to capture the correct pronunciation of those terms. It would be great to see an update to this AI that significantly improves its accuracy especially regarding punctuation and the recognition of product names, software, and technical terms.
Photoshop keeps evolving - new AI tools, smart features, and better performance with each version. But one thing still feels very old: The Freehand Lasso Tool. Right now, if you release your mouse or pencil while drawing a selection, the tool connects back to the starting point - ending the selection too early. There’s a Space bar trick, but it’s not very intuitive. In comparison, tools like Adobe Fresco or Procreate allow you to release and continue from the last point. It’s easier, modern, and much more comfortable for detailed work. And, yes, I mean the Desktop Version of Adobe Fresco. Since this smooth behavior already exists in Fresco, I believe Photoshop could also benefit from it. It would bring a small but very meaningful upgrade to the overall experience.Respectfully, Temo
Visual search is amazing. So helpful. But, for me it woud be even more helpful if I could be more granular about what it's targeting. Often I'll know the bin that something I want is in. Or the project. But, when it searches every open project the results are diluted by things I know I don't want (and if you have a bunch of stuff in the project, it can be a massive amount of results. It'd be great to be able to target only specific open projects, or even specific bins. Maybe filters to include or exclude Multicam sequences, Stills, etc?
It's possible to add speaker names in Premiere Pro's backend but not in the caption track where it matters. This should have already been added in.
I've used Premiere Pro under Windows for several years. However, a major shortcoming, IMHO, is that Premiere's import source folder location defaults to the folder last used. As I work on many Premiere projects simultaneously, workflow would be much improved if the import source path were saved with each project. Currently, each time I switch to a different project, I have to take the time to find the source content folder associated with that project. Prior to Premiere versions released this year, I used a wonderful third-party add-on called "Compass" which enabled Premiere to save a unique import path with each project: https://knightsoftheeditingtable.com/compass Unfortunately, with the latest versions of Premiere, Compass no longer works. I contacted the Compass author who tells me: "From my knowledge, import option is not supported on latest versions of Premiere Pro (API changes), that is why removed it from Compass." Could this capability be restored to Premiere? Please? Thank you.
Hi, Despite the welcome addition of user choice to install Cinema4D alongside AE or not I keep getting frustrated by the fact that this gets asked every time you click the Update button. I'm running AE Beta next to the main release which gets frequent updates. Every time I need to turn that off to prevent a cinema install which I'm already managing myself with a normal Cinema license. It would be great to give us the option to always ignore this install request completely.
Hello, - In the imageA, we're selecting a geometry to create a mask.- We then are then combining this mask with a texture in a black mask.- In the imageB, When creating an anchor point on top of this mask and trying to reuse it later in our stack, the mesh name mask isn't being sent with the anchor point and end up with our texture mask assigned to the entire asset. This process works correctly when using UV tiles selections, but doesn't work with mesh name selections. Would be nice to have it working with Mesh names as well : )
Hello, In order to build stronger tool for studio pipeline, having access to the list of geometries that are enable / disabled per folder would be very valuable. This would permit to create sets in Maya or any other software based on these lists.
When rendering a project with particularly large files, the gpu can run out of memory, aborting the render and throwing the error attached below.I'd like to suggest a third option other than GPU Acceleration (CUDA) or Software Only exclisively where, should the render fail, GPU rendering falls back to software only upon error. Acknowleging that the render quality may be slightly different, sometimes completing this render and queue as a whole is more important than ensuring parity.Error mentioned above:"After Effects has encountered a failure related to GPU-enabled effects on this frame. This is likely because your GPU is out of memory. Please decrease your rendering resolution, close applications that may be using GPU resources, or set this project to render effects using "Mercury Software Only" in File -> Project Settings -> Video Rendering and Effects. VR effects do not render using software only, and can require large amounts of GPU VRAM."
Hello, I've been using Premiere for a decade, instead of adding new features no one asked for, why don't you fix the program at it's core. Every update has new bugs and glitches that make basic tasks frustrating. All I want is the software to work as intended, is that too much to ask? There is a reason many editors I work with are leaving for Davinci Resolve. Fix the program or I'll be leaving as well. - Kyle Couture
Premiere 25.2.1 (build 2)Mac Studio: 32GB, Sequoia 15.3.13 monitors Recently you added (new) CROP controls for any item on the timeline (into the effects controls panel. Generally, a good addition! Only problem is, unlike adding (old) CROP from the effects panel, you can't click on the object and see all four adjustment handles. That’s a really easy way to adjust cropping on-screen. Now I have to fiddle with percentage numbers for each of the four aspects. In the new crop version, can you simply group them together as one menu item the way they are from the effects panel? Then you could adjust left right top bottom by using the adjustment handles on screen. Thanks.
Why has Adobe after all these years not implemeted a text to path feature in After Effects. I have to jump through hoops everytime trying to remeber how this is done. The point is, its useed often and not brought in at any stage of updates. Ive been using AE for about 15 years, and we were doing text along a path then, why did AE go through iterations of CS1 - CS6, then on to creative cloud and never add in the feature. Its lazy. Its simple code that should be in the usr interface as a button. one clecik. I do not understand how people can be in fulltime employent and be so incompetent. Everybody in the creative community would say yes we need and use this feature. So why is it not there?
As the title suggests, I'd like the option to have Lumetri Scopes ignore the subtitles. I can't think of a situation where I'd want my subtitles to be part of my colour grade, so it'd be nice if (by default) Lumetri ignored any subtitle/caption tracks.
It would be great to have a quick way to delete all dialogue from a specific speaker in the Transcript panel. For example, once speakers are labeled, we should be able to right-click "Speaker 3" and choose “Delete all.”This would save a lot of time for editing interviews, podcasts, or multi-speaker content—especially when certain voices need to be removed entirely.
