Photoshop 26.x requirements for MacOpen for Voting

Me and some of my clients are still using old Mac Pros, upgraded to the max with fast M.2 SSD‘s, 32GB of RAM, 3,33GHz Intel Xeon CPU’s and graphic cards with up to 8GB. They still run fast and reliable under Ventura 13.7.0 via Open Core. For Windows PC‘s this is more then what is required, why not for Mac‘s?  ----Einige meiner Kunden und ich selber auch benutzen immer noch alte Mac Pros, aufgerüstet mit schnellen M.2 SSDs, 32GB RAM, 3,33GHz Intel Xeon CPUs und Grafikkarten mit bis zu 8GB. Sie laufen immer noch schnell und zuverlässig unter Ventura 13.7.0 via Open Core. Für Windows-PCs ist das mehr als das, was auf Ihrer Webseite als erforderlich angegeben ist, warum gilt das nicht auch für Macs?

Support for ARRI Look File 4 & ARRI Look File 4c with Custom Color ManagementOpen for Voting

in the past there was support for the ARRI Look File 2 / ALF2 (*.aml) that is stored in the file header of each file of an ALEXA Mini/SXT/LF/Mini LF. This feature was great for users of ARRI Cameras during editing or post-production. In the latest releases of Adobe Premiere Pro the support for the ALF2 was discontinued.  Now there is the ALEXA 35 with a new look file called ARRI Look File 4 and ARRI Look File 4c (Custom Color Management). All color and look related information is stored in the file header of each file.  For editing it would be a great feature getting the looks from set to post-production. Just an idea.... please give +1 if this would helpful for you.  BTW: you can use the ARRI Reference Tool for extracting the look information (CDL and 3D-LUT) from the file header.

Quick key to insert clips and audio files on separate video & audio tracks for synchronization . For instance i need to sync 3 cameras angels with 10 different clips and 2 audio files i have to drag each file manually on different tracks to sync everything together. it would be HUGE TIME saver if i could just select all clips i need to insert and either assign a quick key to inert all on differnt tracks or right click> insert on different tracks...... THIS WOULD BE HUGE.. thanks!

I'm an illustrator, and I'm aware of a surprising limitation in Photoshop.My wish is that the colour of my brush (brush tool) changes (dynamically) with (at least) 3 or 5 colours WITH THE PRESSURE OF THE STYLUS on the tablet (WACOM for example). One possibility (it seems to me) would be to use ‘Colour Dynamics’ in the ‘Brush Settings’. I could (for example) vary the colour of my brush with the PRESSURE OF MY STYLUS (on a Wacom tablet, for example). However, alas 3x alas, this colour dynamic is linked to the 1st and 2nd plan colours. In other words, ONLY TWO COLOURS!On a computer costing several thousand dollars, in 2024, I can't have more than 2 (TWO!) dynamic colours on my brush!Please, Adobe. Change that!Like textures (in the brush settings -> textures are integrated into the settings), would it be possible to define available colours (2, 5 or 10, more?) in the colour dynamics (linked to stylus pressure), in the brush settings ?That would be GREAT! Custom layer icon when it is emptyOpen for Voting

Hi, a lot of times i save masks and paths as a layer mask in the group of the object. So you can easy drop the folder into a compo and move your masks and paths along with it. And if you transform the folder the masks get scaled along. Also usefull to keep a sharp backup of your mask when the mask you use has a feather.It would be helpfull if a layer with no pixels (in the left icon) would have a different icon so you can easy identify it as a 'mask' layer with no visible pixels in the 'layer miniature' so to say.

V25.1.0 (beta) introduced a new behaviour in the sequence panel whereby a clips opacity can be adjusted directly by pointing to a particular area on the clip and dragging up or down. This is super annoying because most of the time, all I want to do is select and move the clip. But if I don't click the clip with high precision and avoid the opacity adjustment area, then I will unwittingly adjust the opacity instead of moving the clip.PLEASE, remove this behaviour and make it available only when "Show keyframes" is selected in the sequence panel settings menu.

Custom Highlight ColorOpen for Voting

In the Preferences\Appearance tab it would be great if we could select a custom color for the "Highlight Color". This would make the UI more customizable and personal to each user. The old color used to be yellow and the current color is blue. But it would be amazing to be able to select any color from a pop up color picker, like we can do for the Label colors. This would be great to change it for fun for a holiday like red for valentine's day or green for St-Paddy's day etc. Please make this happen! I know it's not a top priority, but it would make every user very happy I am sure. Thanks

Remove the 2GB per frame internal memory limitOpen for Voting

Most of us professional AE users have machines with quite a lot of RAM these days - mine has 128GB. It is really frustrating when I'm trying to render something, and AE fails due to the 2GB per frame internal memory limit. Using Power Pin in a 32-bit 4K comp will often give this error. Why does this limit still exist? I know 2GB per frame is a lot of data, but in 2023 we are working on machines that can handle that easily.

Choose Unlisted privacy setting for Vimeo within the Premiere Export settings.Open for Voting

When I upload to Vimeo, I have to choose Viewable by "Only Me" because the "Unlisted" option is not available within the Premiere Export settings.  This forces an extra step of changing the Viewable setting on the Vimeo site or through the app before sharing with clients.  I would like all Viewable options to be present in the Premiere Export settings.

P: Automated bulk publishing of client web galleriesOpen for Voting

Hi guys, Instead of using AI to turn horses into zebras, and the like, what would be really helpful is using it to minimize my editing time doing menial tasks.  If I've gone to the trouble of separating 20 different subjects from a single shoot into named collections: e.g.:  "John_Smith, etc." - it would be great if I could hit a button , fill out the root of the web gallery for my ftp site once (http://www.galleries.photographername.com/20240131_CompanyABC_", then point it to all 20 collections at once and have it upload individual web galleries for each person in automated fashion.  Right now I am sitting here doing these one at a time and it is a giant time suck.  This would be a great feature.

Auto remove birdsOpen for Voting

As a timelapse and landscape photographer, I need this feature so much!Birds suddendly appear in different parts of the frame & look like rubbish in the final video. I know some tricks in AE/Pr how to remove them fast with the Lighten blend mode by duplicating the same footage and moving it 1 frame forward, but it doesn't always work perfectly. It often gives artifacts. Being a perfectionist, I do it manually frame by frame in PS with the Spot Healing brush.Can you imagine how time consuming it is? 300-500+ images to clean... At sunrise the birds wake up and are very active. Almost the same thing with the sunsets. That's why I need the feature like birds removal. I'm sure it would be useful for many landscape photographers.  P.S. I can even provide a few timelapse series (hundreds of shots) to train your algorithms.

P: Recover Crop in Fuji camerasOpen for Voting

Fujifilm's newer cameras have a 40MP sensor and offer in camera crop (or "digital tele converter") in Fuji-Speak, which I use a lot as a commercial event photographer.   However, Lightroom (Classic) does not recognize this. It does it for other cameras (Leica Q, Hasselblad 100C) and it would help tremendously, when Fujifilm cameras would be supported as well. Only newer cameras have this feature.   Thank you.

If there is one truly "silver bullet" problem that gen AI should be solving -- and specifically Firefly should strive towards -- for creatives, especially those in archviz, interior design, environment concepting, etc. is to make Firefly brilliant at understanding how to populate an image, render, photo of a space and fill it with accurate crowd imagery, and provide controls on how dense to populate the scene.To accurately account for lighting, perspective, have controls for the demographs (general public? VIP event?) and how dense the scene should be filled, and intuitively know to put a few people in the front of the scene, a few in the back, to understand how to generate crowds to interact with the elements of the image, like seated guests on couch furniture, or ordering a drink at a bar element.
