Hello, Latest Beta Build 30.9.32 is now available in CCD. We have below fixes in this build:AI Assistant — Beta Release NotesFollowing our last beta drop , here's the next batch of AI Assistant improvements — now live in the latest Illustrator Beta. This release is focused on making Skills fully manageable from the UI, smoother file attachments, and squashing a set of high-priority stability bugs you flagged.A quick reminder — what the Assistant is: your product partner that takes on the repetitive, time-consuming work, so you can spend more time designing and creating. What's newManage Skills directly from the UISkills are no longer just create-and-run — you can now create, edit, and delete them without retyping anything.Create & edit Skills from a dedicated Skill editor. Kick off the edit flow straight from the / menu(button or keypress). Delete a Skill from the UI, including from within an active session. Cleaner, more consistent Skill file naming. How to use: Type / in the Assist
When I restart my computer and an AI window is open, it freezes completely, so I have to force a shutdown to use AI again.
The UI is overcrowded. Please get rid of all the double toolbars, buttons, and more more. You are good in hiding essential functions, why not hide the unused ones?
I would like to report an issue with the new object selection behavior in the latest Illustrator update. The previous selection workflow was much faster and more intuitive. I could simply drag a selection box around multiple objects and select them together, then move or resize them easily. This was especially useful when working with logos and complex vector designs that contain many separate elements. After the latest update, the selection process has become unnecessarily complicated. I now need additional keyboard combinations in situations where they were not previously required. This adds extra steps to very basic actions and makes the overall workflow significantly slower and less comfortable. This is not simply a matter of being “used to the old version.” The previous behavior required fewer actions and was objectively more efficient for selecting and moving multiple objects.I have already reset Illustrator preferences and even completely uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator, bu
macOS 26.5.2, Illustrator Beta only. No Wacom hardware or driver installed. No Wacom launch services/system extensions. Wacom installer receipt removed. Enable Wacom disabled. Regular Illustrator does not display the warning. Illustrator Beta displays “Illustrator found an issue with Wacom driver” at every launch.
Can you please allow all the color libraries access to the Palette Generator?
Hello,Adobe is bringing a small group of designers and builders in early on a new tool, and some of you in this community may fit the profile they're looking to partner with. What is it about? It's a new web-based, AI-assisted tool for bringing products from idea to deployment. They're assembling a cohort kicking off August 20th and running through the fall. What you'd get out of it:Hands-on access well before public launch A direct line to the team building it. Your feedback genuinely shapes what ships A private cohort channel with others in the programWe’re looking for participants:We're looking for brand designers, screen designers, PMs, frontend engineers, and founders/builders who've used an AI tool that builds working apps or interfaces from a prompt (like Lovable, Claude Code, Bolt, Figma Make, or Replit) in the last 30 days, and who have a real, active project they're working on.If you're interested, start with a quick 1-minute survey: Screener SurveyLimited spots. Transforming an object when “use preview bounds” enabled, has a strange quirk. This happens in the beta app and the regular app. What I notice I that the transforming the object moves it slightly. In the second image below, I have moved the bottom edge up, transforming the square thinner. You can see the top edge has moved up. You can see how the square outline is now above the cyan guide. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to work, but it’s not what I would expect. I would not except a position shift on transform (manually moving an edge) even with “use preview bounds” enabled.object before transform. notice cyan guide at topobject after transform. Notice how top edge is now above cyan guide
Hello, AI does not follow Czech setup in text type. Is still EN. Thank you. Jan Bárta
When an object has a pattern fill, Illustrator should display the current pattern scale (e.g. 50%, 100%, 125%) and allow users to edit it directly. Currently, pattern transformations can be adjusted through Transform commands, but there is no obvious way to see the existing scale of a pattern. This makes it difficult to reproduce or maintain consistent pattern sizing across objects.
I use the dimensions on the transform toolbar on an hourly basis. Shoehorning the turntable tool into this toolbar at the expense of the dimension information is annoying and severly disruptive to my workflow. It would be ok if it were something that could be customised and removed if it wasn’t wanted but as usual this hasn’t been taken into account. Your customers don’t need to be force fed new features they need to be able to work effectively and maybe explore new features as and when they have the time. Yet again it’s another innovation that has been added at the expense of the usability of the program. It’s getting really tired to have to revert to older versions of illustrator and/or photoshop just so I can do my job.
When I try to edit a point on an object, instead of viewing the edit I’m making as a live-preview, I just see every object on the artboard in it’s outline mode… and I can see what I’m actually doing (see attached screencap). I also get the same behavior when I try to move an object when I hold down the shift key to constrain the objects movement… everything goes into outline mode and freezes, and I can only see the result of the move when I release the mouse. The problem happens most of the time… but there are some time when things work properly… but that’s rare, and shouldn’t be this way. Hope you can fix this right away… it makes it a lot harder to get things done in the app. Thanks.
Hi team,I am experiencing a persistent UI/functional bug in the latest Illustrator Beta version regarding the Transform panel inside the Control Bar.The Issue: I am unable to scale objects non-uniformly using the Width (W) and Height (H) input fields in the Control Bar's transform section. It constantly behaves as if the "Constrain Proportions" (link icon) mode is turned ON, maintaining the aspect ratio automatically, even though I have explicitly turned this feature OFF.Steps to Reproduce: Select any object (e.g., a rectangle or vector path). Look at the Transform section in the Control Bar. Ensure the "Constrain Proportions" link icon is unchecked/disabled (showing it should allow free, non-uniform scaling). Change either the Width or Height value manually. The other dimension changes automatically to maintain the original aspect ratio, completely ignoring the disabled constraint toggle. Expected Behavior: When the constrain feature is turned off, I should be able to set the
The align option currently gives us three options: to object, to artboard, to selection. It would benefit my workflow for a fourth option where one could align to bleed. This would be helpful in my workflow, reducing having to create a shape then size it of the bleed and using align to key object.

Not sure if this is a bug, or if it has been removed. But while loaded, Illustrator no longer seems to update the fonts list, if a new font is installed. Meaning a restart of Illustrator is necessary, if you want the newly installed fonts to show.It used to do it, but now it needs a restart.
in trying to scale this object up from the top edge when a stroke is applied it changes the position of the bottom anchor point. You can see the anchor point position compared from image 2+3, the transformed line with the stroke has been moved away from the guide, while it (correctly) stays in the right position when the stroke is removed.

Whenever I install an Adobe beta app, it seems to take over as though it were the only version installed. I need Illustrator Beta to open only the documents I specifically choose, not replace the current version of Illustrator as the default. Please keep beta apps separate. The standard versions of Bridge, Illustrator, and Photoshop should remain the default applications, while the beta versions should open only when manually selected.
Hello everyone,Turntable is now live in Illustrator Beta (build 29.9.14 or later)!Turntable lets you “rotate” your 2D artwork to see it from different angles. If you’ve got a character, product, or object drawn in Illustrator, you can quickly generate front/side/back views without redrawing everything from scratch. Note: This is still Beta quality. Some of the tech behind it is pretty challenging, so expect rough edges here and there. But that’s why we’re bringing it to you early. We’d love to hear from you! Explore this fun feature and speak to us to be a part of the feature's future! Block time with us using the link provided below. Book Time with the team This link will expire on September 30, 2025. Book Now How to try it: Install the Beta → Open the Creative Cloud Desktop app → look under “Beta apps” → install Illustrator (Beta). Make sure you’re on 29.9.14 or later. Select your artwork (works best with clean, real-world vector art). Group you
