Illustrator on the iPad

When I try to use the properties panel to move an object by typing x and y coordinates, the coordinates I type are randomly changed to something else. 

Hello I have the same problem for illustrator in iPad, it was working fine yesterday for about 2 hours in the middle of work and it suddenly starts crashing on me and telling mei can't upload files (picture) into my work so I signed out deleted the app re started. I was already subscribed, since signing in it tells me it's fetching my subscription details with a box behind it saying app already purchased and then it takes me and leaves me stuck on the get started with a 1 month free trial page. Have clicked restore purchase and nothing happens and I've clicked subscribe now (again) and nothing happens. I have googled everything about making sure the right account and Apple ID is connected, i have also just now bought the extra £20 illustrator think it's turned out to be the desktop app (im on iPad) thought if I bought that my app would work. It doesn't. there's no phone number or email for contact support. All the contact links on Adobe don't actually send you to contact some

Hello, I m new to the iPad Pro and I am looking for the pattern library on the iPad to add it to my drawings.  I m drawing characters and  I am looking for nice fabrics or patterns that could recreate the fabric idea for the clothes of my little characters:-) (do not want to use a simple colour:-) Thank you for your response and your help, much appreciated. Fabienne

Hello, I would like to make some changes to the character I m drawing on illustrator, like changing just a facial expression or the shape of the face or adding a new shirt instead of trousers for example, and would like to know how to do that on the iPad with the pencil tool.The only way to do it at the moment I can see is to select the selection point tool (sorry for my English here, don t really know what it is called in English. ). Does anyone have any advice or trick for me, please? Thank you for your help, any kind of support much appreciated  Bonjour, est ce que quelqu'un sait comment modifier un tracé avec l'outil crayon comme on peut le faire sure l'ordinateur mais sur l'ipad. Hi, Tapping to deselect an object over another locked one is giving me awkward results. Here—video attached—I need to work over a particular colour, so I have a locked box in the background. Attempting to deselect from the shape in the front takes anywhere from 1-4 taps of the pen. 

Hi, I m facing a problem which when i downloaded my AI files from another cloud and open it, there is a few missing image which i had dowloaded all the assets ad place it inside of my ipad memory and creative cloud. However when i try to relink the files or when i try to place something, only this two option that appear and there is only this two files that appear. The files that appear are PSDC files while the other format did not appear. How do i solve this so that my ipad can import a file from my ipad or creative cloud. Thanks

I have a file in illustrator that I made using the desktop app on Windows. Recently, I wanted to edit this using my iPad. When I opened it, it came up with missing fonts (even though the font I used would have been one from the desktop adobe illustrator, not a personal font download). It is to my understanding, that the font (Tw Cen MT Condensed Extra Bold) would be in Adobe Fonts, yet when I try to search and add this font to my iPad via the creative cloud app, it doesn't exist. Would like to resolve this so I can work on this project on the go.

I have lost HOURS of my work due to this bug. Its frustrating. I cannot save it, i cannot edit it, i cannot do anything.  I have a 9th gen ipad with great RAM and a bunch of space. This needs to be fixed asap.

Hi there! I recently got an iPad Pro 12.9in (5th gen) and whenever I open Illustrator and attempt to log in, it crashes. The same happens on Photoshop so I assume it may be correlated?   I am running on the iPadOS 16 beta 2, so that could be the issue. No trackpad or anything, only the pencil.   What do I do?     [Beta version of iPadOS added by moderator for clarity]

Bonjour,  J'utilise illustrator depuis près de 6 mois, sauf que c'est l'angoisse à chaque utilisation.l'application n'accepte pas l'importation de photos, ou l'exportation de mon projet, le retour au menu d'accueil ne m'enregistre pas mon projet, ou l'application décide tout simplement de se fermer. Ces problèmes sont récurrents, je dois refaire mes projets très souvent à cause de ça. Je suis déçu de payer un abonnement qui me fait perdre des clients car je n'arrive pas à finir les projets ou les rend avec beaucoup de retard.J'ai l'iPad 9eme génération avec la dernière mise à jour mais je n'ai aucune améliorations.Merci de me contacter sur mon adresse e-mail. cordialement  

So I'm on the iPad and I've made a design. I've closed my shapes so that I can easily access and color etc. but the option to scroll the arrange/stack, it won't even slide. Can someone help pls.

Today I tried to open Illustrator on the iPad but the opening page kept winding. I couldn't even sign in to Adobe there, despite having received the link. I had requested a link in order to reinstall the app - sometimes this works. But I couldn't reinstall it either. All other Adobe iPad apps work well. Adobe desktop versions are also working fine. Please help. Specs: Macbook Pro-OS Monterey v12.4 and iPad Pro 2, v15.5. Thanks!

When drawing paths with the apple pencil on the iPad is there a way to make paths connect?  When I draw, it will look like the likes are connected (as seen in the full flower image below), but when I zoom all the way in, the paths don't actually touch. I need single line paths that touch for the glowforge. I have been drawing an image and then zooming all the way in and painstakingly hand connecting every anchor to a line. Is there a better way? Is there a setting I can enable that would automatically snap a new line I'm starting to the one I'm trying to draw off of? 

Hi, every video and tutorial I've seen shows a + sign to add fonts that you've already downloaded, but it doesn't show up on my app. Am I missing a certain feature?

I have imported an image into my illustrator on my iPad and I am trying to identify the pantone colors. I am struggling to find anything helpful for the ipad app. Is it possible to select a color and it give you the closest pantone color?

Is the lasso selection tool available in Ai for the iPad? If not, does anyone know a work-around for selections that work like the lasso tool?Thank you!Jennifer

Hey everybody,  i would like to print a Zine. The Zine is in A6, so a A4 paper devided in 4. Is there any option on Illustrator for iPad to Layout the pages, that when i print the A4 with front and backprint that the numbers and pages in the Zine are in the correct order? Thanks for your help! 

I've made a custom OTF font and uploaded through the Illustrator app on the iPad. I've since made changes to the font and resaved the file. When I try to reupload the new version, it uploads it but the type still looks like the old version of the font. I have tried saving the font with a new file name, but when I try to add it in the app it says the font is already uploaded. I don't see any option for deleting or uninstalling the font. How do I update it with the new version?ALso, I don't see this custom added font through Adobe Fonts Creative Cloud, just on my iPad.

Hi,I use desktop Illustrator but for love nor money can find how to offset path in the new new Ai app.  I specifically want to offset path on text. I can see how to outline text but that's it...please help...I love the way this app feels but can't use it unless it has this feature as I need to thicken all lines so I can send finished work to plotter for engraving.Thanks in advance,Inez
