Cela fait deux trois fois sur des fichiers très légers qu'indesign me fasse ce type de réaction soudaine, où tout est bloqué, où je ne peux que forcer à quitter ! quelqu'un auriat il une explication ? Merci d'avance

I use the minimum row height.The table is always that far off and fails to align to the bottom of the type area. It's more likely to happen with different content on each row.Is it possible to set the increment in the table panel? It seems the default is 1mm, which is not very controllable.It would be great if you could make minor adjustments to align the bottom in one go.If you are only adjusting certain rows, you need to select those rows.If you only adjust the table on the current page where the cursor is, you don't need to select it. Perhaps the easiest thing to control when you're using grid typography is row height. 

The bug has been present in many versions now (including the newest one).Exporting InDesign file to interactive PDF breaks and group objects randomly.Example:The word "More" (shapes not text) in InDesign is present as one element.You export the file from InDesign as an interactive PDF.Open in Illustrator. Release to layers."M" is a separate layer. "ore" is a separate layer.Why? Is there a workaround to have a proper export from InDesign to Illustrator?If not, can we have a fix in the next update please?Thank you.

Hello, I had some corrupted Adobe InDesign documents in my Assembled Book. I removed the corruption that caused the problem and confirmed the Adobe InDesign documents were no longer corrupted. I uninstalled Adobe InDesign 20.1 x64 keeping the Adobe InDesign Preferences and then reinstalled Adobe InDesign 20.1 x64. I have Windows 10. When I click on any Adobe InDesign document using Windows Explorer, I received the following error message from the Adobe InDesign executable: "A problem was detected with the product installation. Please reinstall the product." I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe InDesign 20.1 x64, but the problem still persists. Before the corruption happened, I could invoke any Adobe InDesign document using Windows Explorer.  When I use the Creative Cloud Desktop to open any Adobe InDesign document, the problem does not occur. The document loads fine. Could anyone be of help?Thanks for your kind help, Edward

I normally position images "text over and beneath". Frequently they hide beneath the text, although I do not have a seperate layer for images (for many reasons) and even if I anchor them. "Solution": put the text box aside, work on the image, for example insert description and place text again into its position.Why that?Some other questions: how can I make sure that the pictures I place at the external side of my text stay at the external side, even if the text goes on and is no more on the odd/even page?I am considering fixing the whole document (text with many styles, about 150 images, several object styles) with the script AllesSperren by  Hans Haesler, but I am afraid that in case I want to unlock everythin again with Alles Entsperren I may have troubles. Any experiences?Oh, there are so many bugs in 2025!

I have a script I've been using since 2010 that will not work with InDesign 2025. It saves the InDesign file to single page PDFs with the file name being the page number. I have no knowledge of scripts (only how to use them). Wir arbeiten am MAC OS 12.7.1 und exportieren die PDF direkt aus InDesign 19.2.Bisher hat man ein PDF exportiert und die Farben waren genauso wie vorher im InDesign angelegt.Seit einiger Zeit verändern sich aber die Farben. Also z.B. C0M100Y100K0 kommt dann als C2M98Y98K0 raus. Da gibt es auch deutlichere Abweichungen bei anderen Farben. Siehe auch Bild mit den Einstellungen. Wobei es egal ist was man da einstellt, die Farben verändern sich immer, was vorher nicht der Fall war. Da wir als Druckerei unseren Kunden aber 100% genau die Hausfarben drucken müssen sind wir auf eine richtige Ausgabe angewiesen.Was tun?

 Hello Everyone,I would like to ask. Because I have a problem with aligning text in the Epub fix-layout file (Indesign program). Setting  Text Paragraph to Alignment is Left Justify, and it will display normally in the program.But when Preview Epub in the program or Export.Open in the "Books" app, the text will be aligned to the left. Some spaces between words are stuck, some are overlapping, and some words are cut off strangely (as shown in the attached image and circled in red). I'm not sure if I made a mistake somewhere, so I would like to ask if there is a way to fix it. Please help.Thank you 🙂

Buena tarde. En varias ocasiones se esta trabajando en el archivo indesign y no deja grabar porque se desactivan las opciones de guardado y se pierde el trabajo realizado.Encontré la opción de exportar un idml y he logrado abrir el archivo con lo último trabajado. Que pasa que ese problema se de?estoy con la ultima versión del sistema (MacOS Sequoia ersión 15.1.1) y del indesign 25gracias. 

We are lately seeing InDesign lagging when we switch focus from any other window (example Google Chrome) to InDesign. This is happening on two computers which are running Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 (OS build 19045.2604) and InDesign 18.1 and 18.0. This happens even without any open document. Simply trying to click on the File menu option can take anywhere betweeen 2 to 15 seconds! Not always the same. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Immer wenn ich in Indesign eine Linie zeichne Erscheint ein Pfeil. Ich weiß, dass ich für eine gerade gezeichnete Linie, solange diese aktiviert ist, unter Effekte Die Kontureigenschaften einstellen und die Pfeilspitze für den Anfang und das Ende der Linie abwählen kann, um eine einfache Linie zu erhalten. Doch leider merkt sich Indesign diese Einstellung nicht. Wenn ich eine neue Linie zeichne hat diese immer wieder diese Pfeilspitzen. Ich bin total genervt davon jedes Mal von neuem dies3 Prozedur zu durchlaufen, wenn ich einfach nur eine Linie zeichnen möchte. Kann jemand helfen, wie ich für neu zu zeichnende Linien diesen nervigen Linieneffekt zurücksetzen kann, um zukünftig eine stinknormale Linie zu zeichnen? Vielen Dank

I have Win 11 and the last version of InDesign 2025 (which is getting me crazy).I had a document with food notes, then I converted them into endnotes, which worked fine. After a few weeks (and several editings), there are no more superscript numbers and the endnotes have become plain text. I cannot convert them back, because Indesign says there are no endnotes.When I insert new notes, they simply start as... new notes, right on from the beginning with number 1.Thanks for any help,Marlene 

Hi guys, im playing around with an idea for some automation within our print studio. We have files that have several guides such as cutters and crease guide etc.What I am trying to do with the script is to find the named swatches, make sure that they have the overprint stroke attribute applied and then make sure that they are spots, if not then convert them.I have managed to get the funtionality working to update the overprint attribute, but sturggling with the conversion to spot colours. Hello there, I am creating a book and when i export it to PDF, in random places some text line do not show on the PDF. See the picture attached.This is a big problem and i did not find anything online. I used Indesign 19.4 to create the file. Can anyone please help?Thank you 

Every time i try to launch the program, it shows the starting logo and then it disappears . i did deleathe the preferences but that did not change anything.  the same thing happens with Illustrator 2025. I am trying to find a way to contact adobe rep but seems impossible. 

Hi! The problem...I have an InDesign document which 100s of pages and different text stories. I can export or print a PDF document which looks just fine. However, the text in the PDF is not searchable. I am not sure why. Maybe it is down to embedding restrictions in the font or the way the PDF engine is handling stylistic alternates as I do not get this problem with other fonts. The font is a Unicode font, by the way. The issue...Although the text can be viewed as a PDF, it needs to be indexed by a 3rd-party without InDesign or the fonts. Ideally, they would be able to work from the PDF searching for words and phrases using the search feature and then noting the page number. A solution?For the purposes of creating an index what would be the best work around in lieu of a PDF? Exporting to rich text or plain text would be an option if the page numbers could be noted. But what would the procedure be for a script?  Possbile procedure in words...Export to text fileC

I’m working on a JSX script to replicate a specific object, and I’m having trouble understanding the dependencies between TextFrame and Oval objects.What I’m trying to achieve is something similar to creating shape-bound text in Illustrator: for example, putting text inside a circle or oval shape. In Illustrator, this is usually done by drawing the shape (e.g., a circle) and then using the text tool to add text inside it.I want to replicate this in code but I’m not sure how to handle the relationship between the TextFrame and the Oval objects. Hi I uploaded a photo to my InDesign document and put a frame around it. Now I want to download that photo complete with frame. Is that possible? I have googled to try to find an answer incl Adobe info, looked in File/Export etc. The only option I can find is to download the whole document as jpg which I don't want to do. Another question - where are the photos and graphics you upload into a document stored in InDesign? I know where the Uploads folder is in Adobe Express but can't find in Indesign. Lastly, if I unlink an image from one document - does it unlink it from all other documents? I am doing tutorials including Adobe's.

I'm running a Copilot+ PC with the Snapdragon X chipset and having issues with the latest Indesign v20.1 which is throwing an error (see screenshot). The publication indicates no errors itself though and has previously been exported without a problem.
