Hello, I have been facing a problem regarding my presets not appearing in my profile in lightroom classic v15. (Macbook) I have tryied multiple times to deselect the ""Store presets with this catalog" and "show partially compatible develop presets" and is still not working.I have also tryied applying them directly in the folder "User presets" inside the "developed presets", and they still don't appear in my list of presets. They also don't appear in "profile" while being in developed mode.I am using raw files and the presets are XMP from authentic love presets. Every time I try to import them again it says the have already been imported but I just can't find them anywhere. I have been using these presets in lightroom classiv v13 and it worked perfectly. Since I have updated to v15, I can't find them anymore. Please, if you had the same problem and know how to fix it, please help. Thank you!
Issue with Adobe Lightroom Classic.Latest Mac OS InstalledLatest update on Lightroom ClassicPhotos are stored on an external SSD Drive formatted ExtaFat.Lightroom has full disk access in Permissions.Lightroom is added to Permissions for full access. Issue when in Adobe Lightroom Classic and in the Library Grid View and selecting an image, then select delete the image, then select from the drive, the warning dialog box “Delete Permanently” comes up and I select the button Permanently Delete Files. At this point Lightroom goes Black and then an error Dialog Box “An internal error has occurred. ?:0 attempt to index a nil value. When I cancel the error occurs The file named “untitled-215.ORF” could not be moved to the Trash folder. When the error occurs the image is not erased from the SSD drive. But, when I go through Finder I am able to erase an image on the SSD drive, then the image shows in the desktop waste basket, and I can permanently dele
Hi,It seems that on non-english installations, LR 15 is trying to find the Windows 11 "Pictures" folder and fails. I'm running Windows 11 french and my "Pictures" folder is actually named "Images". I'm running LR in french. In Library mode, LR 15 tries to include the Pictures folder but marks it with a black exclaim icon, therefore indicating that it cannot find folders in it. This ghost folder cannot be removed. Its infotip says "Subfolders missing. Please relink". I don't know what "relinking" means in that case. - Switching to the english language doesn't help.- I can however synchronize this ghost "Pictures"folder and actually add the subfolders of my Images folder.- If I then remove them from LR, I can then remove the ghost Pictures folder. It will however be back after restart, still marked with the black exclaim icon.- I have the same problem on my laptop. By the way, I don't know why LR insists on including the Images/Pictures folder in the folder tree. I don't
I am working with the latest version of Lightroom Classic on an Acer Tower and I am having an issue with making a collection the target collection. I have streamlined my workflow. After importing my photos, I create first a collection set, then nested beneath that first a collection consisting of the full shoot. Then I want to create another collection, also nested under the Collection set, called Picks. I deisignate that collection as the Target Collection. The problem is that when, after using the filter and narrowing the images down to the ones I have rated, I select those but then right click hoping to add those to the target collection, that option does not appear and instead I get the message Create Quick collection. What am I doing wrong? Thanks as always to community
Looking for help from the community. After I updated LRC to V14.2 from V14 I started to encounter issues with my LR Catalog where older folders wouldn't show any photos in the library module despite the folder name showing a items number next to it. Thought I left filters on and it wasn't that. Fast forward to yesterday - updated to V15.0 and all of the folders in the catlog show 0 images (see image below)I have right clicked (windows user) to syncronise the folders and 90% have come back but LR encountered a problem in the process. I am still missing around 1000 photos from the folders but if you were to right click -> explorer and see the folder, the images are there. What can I do to get this fixed? Not understanding how LR catalogs fully work technically, I tried creating a new catalog and import from the original folder thinking that there would be edit data saved to the files and well, I learnt quickly that this will not solve the problem as an a
I saved all my files, and my LR classic backups, on an external hard drive. The drive was then backed up to a cloud service. My current LR catalog is on my main computer drive. The external hard drive recently failed, and I cannot access the files anymore. I am recovering them from the cloud service, and plan to rename the new external drive the same letter as the failed drive. I'm hoping that when I open LR Classic the next time (after the files are recovered), it will "see" the files all on the new drive. Does anyone have any experience with this type of issue, and if so, does my plan make sense? Or is there something else I should do?
An internal error has occurred.Invalid path."Des pistes pour ce problème ?
In the past (prior to v15) I opened LR, then inserted the SD card, the "import" menu popped up and I selected the first and last file I wanted to import (and it imported all photo's inbetween...).Now in v15, when I select the first file I cannot scroll to the last one, as LR keeps on jumping back to this first file. Never had this issue before. What can cause this?
With the Fix/Remove (Clone) tool, when you move the clone source, the image warps vertically even though it's horizontal. This is all with the Lightroom Classic V15 update. Another problematic tool is Lens Blur which no longer works! (Clip02.mp4)
If you hit the escape key in the Import dialog, the dialog is exited and all organization is lost. The expected behavior would be to exit Loupe View and return to Grid View (staying within the Import function) as happens in the Library Module. I have muscle memory for this behavior and I keep destroying my organizational work within the Import dialog--(ie: checkmark selections for "Include in import") Either make the behavior consistent between the modes, or add a warning that "All selections will be lost, exit anyway?" Thanks, --David Aughenbaugh
Hi all, I am looking for a better workflow for creating multi-page image collages in Lightroom. I use the print module and I have various templates set up. I can drag and drop images I want into my template and it looks good. The problem is I can only do this for one page at a time. If I add a new page, it is always blank and it doesn't seem possible to apply a template to a blank page? Is there a better workflow that I am overlooking? Currently, I have to make collages one page at a time and this process is laborious. The book module / slideshow module don't seem to have the same tools as the print page so I feel trapped between tools. The print tools and templates, in a workspace more similar to the book module would be a better solution for me.
I have a photo on top of my work before I can begin post-processing my pictures. I'm also unable to load my images. I cannot get rid of the photo hiding my workspace. I have a Mac air.
When I upload a photo book to Blurb, it ends up with blue lines through random photos...Blurb says this is a Lightroom rendering issue. Has anyone else had this problem? And found a solution>
just install LRC v15.0 on a macOS 26.0.1. When I creating a mask in mask panel results in the temp, saturation and tinc sliders moving all the way to the right. The result? a grisly yellow mask even though the overlay color is red. I'm convinced I might have flipped a setting during installation but cannot find where that setting, if it exist, is.Steps: mask>landscape>water (chosen from options) result in yellow mask because the temp and saturation sliders are pegged right. Tint is almost fully pegged right. NOTE; Overlay color set in the mask panel is red. any ideas out there?
it would be great to add the ability to filter the photos in Culling mode by emotions on the face, or at least smiling, crying ...
Images show forground selected for luminance, vary dark areas, but part of the selection I do not want to alter. Is there a way to 'erase' the part of the mask I want to remove? Being able to use the brush tool like an eraser for this would be wonderful. Second image shows without mask selection to show, only the very dark branches to the right to I want to brighten slightly.
I noticed a serious change in the dark areas after my latest upgrade to version 15. It is then necessary to adjust the glider again to a neutral level. I this normal after upgrading the version? best regards,
Hey all,I'm fairly new to Lightroom on creative cloud. For some reason when I export my synced photos from my PC, they come out around 1-2 MB or smaller as full resolution JPEGs. The original files on my laptop come out as 10-15MB with the exact same settings in the exact same image in the "All Synced Photographs" folder. Why can't I export these synced files at full size on my PC? Is there a setting or something i'm missing?Or, conversely, do I just need to start fresh on my PC with original RAW and only export from there? Just exclusively doing editing and not exporting full size through the synced photos on mobile/laptop?Thanks!
This will ask about moving the edits from the cloud ecosystem to my classic system in hard drive. I began in Lightroom using Lightroom CC (the cloud based system). This was while backpacking. RAW files were uploaded to the cloud, then I kept them on a portable hard drive. Did all of the editing in the cloud, where I am using a lot of my 1TB allowance, and paying for it. A few years later, I want to downgrade my plan (to keep it sustainable) by clearing most of the RAW files from the cloud. Key point is that for around 1000 of the photos I want to have the RAW + edits on classic, so I can continue to work with the best images. I have done:1. Export all photos from cloud to JPEGs, so I have them as high quality JPEG as a backup. 2. RAW files are now available on my computer with classic (not imported but easily done) I know how to delete things from the cloud, so that isn't a problem. Is there a way to either: - download the RAW files pl
I just updated to Lightroom Classic 8.0 yesterday and today when I imported photos they do not show up in the Library view and only show up in the Develop module if I click on a specific photo. All of my existing photos show up correctly, it's only the new imports that do not show up. I looked in finder and the pictures are in the correct folder and the metadata does show correctly in the Library module, but all I see are gray boxes, no photos. Any ideas?
Hi I've been attempting to update lightroom classic to version 15 and its become stuck with the following messge showing "updating meta dataon filters removal tool" . Can any one help please?

Hi, I wanted to try these new LrC 14.4 features, but they are greyed out on my system. I have tried RAW files and JPEGs. When I click on the little triangles, nothing happens.
Danke
Since rebuilding my computer and reinstalling Windows 11 (now on version 25H2) and moving the entire Lightroom folder containing the catalog, backups, etc. to the C drive (Photos stored on an external drive) I get a message stating that the catalog is corrupt and needs to be repaired before LrC can open if I attempt to open LrC. after a short period of time, the message - and progress bar - go away and nothing else happens, i.e. LrC does not open although it shows it is running in the Task Manager. I then need to end the task using Task Manager.I have found that by pressing the Shift + Control keys while opening LrC seems to work ok with LrC using the current/latest catalog. Everything works just fine with all my edits, etc. still in place. any additional edits are saved ok when I exit and are available when I reopen LrC using the Shift + Control keys.I have attempted to fix the problem using all the recommendations on this site as well as Google, YouTube, ChatGPT, etc.
