Lightroom 14.3.1/Camera Raw 17.3.1 Windows 11 Version 24H2   For all non-adaptive profiles the histogram in the develop module's Histogram widget and the histogram displayed behind the Tone Curve widget match in shape and the tone curve works correctly (c.f. first screenshot).   As soon as an adaptive profile is applied the tone curve seems to be compressed to the first 3 quadrants and reacts overly sensitive. (c.f. second screenshot) Also when adjusting the tone curve picking the brightness values directly from the image even whites/blown out hightlights are not mapped to 250+ values but rather to 180+ (c.f. third screenshot).   Steps to reproduce: 1. Select a raw file (Canon .cr3 from a R6 II in my case) 2. Go to develop module 3. In the Basic widget switch to one of the adaptive profiles e.g. Adaptive Color 4. Go to the Tone Curve widget and check the histogram; the histogram only use the 3 leftmost quadrants 5. Now switch to a non-adaptive profile e.g. Adobe Color 6.

Hello,  still not working in LRC 14.0.1.  , I have old yellow badges but not new ones on last sync. collection. Any idea ?

The Edit Capture Time command doesn't preserve fractional seconds when shifting the time of multiple photos. For example, if you select a batch of photos taken with "continuous shooting", e.g. at a sporting event, and then use Edit Capture Time to shift their time by 60 minutes, the fractional seconds of each photo will be dropped and the photos will no longer be correctly ordered by capture time. To reproduce, take several photos that were all shot within the same second with the continuous-shooting option of the camera. LR will correctly transfer the capture time into their .xmp sidecars: [XMP] Date/Time Original : 2011:05:13 18:32:44.51 [XMP] Date/Time Original : 2011:05:13 18:32:44.52 [XMP] Date/Time Original : 2011:05:13 18:32:44.53 Then select those photos and invoke Edit Capture Time. Use either the "Adjust to a specified date and time" or the "Shift by set number of hours" option to shift the time by 1 hour. Observe that the fractional seconds in the sidecars is now dropped: [X

Hi Lightroom experts,I am using Lightroom Classic CC on my Mac. Both on latest versions. Within Lightroom, when I move a file from one folder to another I get a pop up with the following message/warning.Quote:Moving a File on DiskThis will cause the corresponding file on disk to be moved. If you proceed, neither this move nor any change you've made prior to this can be undone.End quoteWhy is this so? Is there no way to move a file in lightroom and keep the ability to undo previous edits?Some times I edit an image and then realize I need to move it to a different folder or rename the folder. Given the above, I would lose my edits. This seems wrong and should be an easy feature to add.Thanks,Puneet

Have updated to LR Classic CC 7.3  Develop module when using the crop tool it shows the last image cropped for about 1 second before showing the current selected image.

Generative remove content seems correct but image generated on thin line removal is blurry / lacking resolution.  This is the case with all varaitions.Source image is 40Mpx Fuji Xtrans file. Selection was about 2.5 width of the line ( smaller than the blurry area) Reproduction : import  Lightroom Classic v14.5.1windows 11 10.0.26100

My Lightroom Classic keeps bugging in the Develop module. I only see visual glitches on the screen and I have to close and reopen Lightroom. I’m using a 2019 MacBook Pro and Lightroom version 14.5.1. What should I do?

I created nested Keywords without any problems but tonight I can't created keywords.   I creted the following keywords: WHO, WHERE and WHAT.  I had to create the WHAT keyword inside another keyword and then drag and dropped where I wanted.  The "+" on the Keyword List tab doesn't seem to be working anymore.  I tried adding the following keyword, 0 GENRES PORTFOLIO as the top level of nested series.  When I click ok it never appears in the list and it gives no errors.  One fix said to delete the helper.irda files which I did,  but it did not resolve the problem.  Should I reinstall Ligthroom Classic?  That's what I use.

I have had successful uploads from LR to Blurb for years. For the last three months it has failed to upload. I want to send to Blurb to publish the book. I do not need PDF only - I need to send to Blurb for publishing.I have tried all their suggestions with no success.Blurb says it's a glitch in LR.Any ideas? Thanks  

When using the Remove tool and ticking the "Use generativeAI" box, it identifies the areas. When you click the remove box it comes up with a message "We have encountered a problem and cant complete your request. Try again later". Tried restarting the program and the PC and get same message

I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before and has an explanation for what is going on. I shoot Fuji RAF format and have a preset on Import that applies my preferred profiles & default Develop settings. Sometimes I make a few other edits before eventually converting all my images to DNG (typically I wait until I'm connected to a power source to do the DNG Conversion because it drains my laptop battery).   Here's the random bug I've experienced over the last few versions of LR: I'll batch convert hundreds of images from RAF to DNG in LR. Then I'll notice that some random images have lost all my edits - including the default edits applied on Import. The History Panel will show "From Metadata" and if I go back one state everything is back the way I had it before the conversion. (see screen recording of one such file) It's quite annoying to have to go back through ALL my images and check each one to see if it has lost the edits as there is no way to filter and see only the ones

Bonjour, J'utilise Lightroom pour déplacer mes photos du SSD de mon iMac vers un NAS depuis de nombreuses années. Ayant un peu de temps, je voudrai faire du tri dans mes photos et transférer les photos les plus anciennes vers mon NAS et en faire une copie sur un disque dur externe. Cela ne m'a jamais posé de problème jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Lorsque, depuis Lightroom, je déplace un dossier de mon SSD vers le NAS, une fenêtre s'affiche avec le message suivant : Déplacement de fichiers sur le disque.Ceci déplacera les fichiers correspondants sur le disque. Si vous continuez, ce déplacement, ou toute modification effectuée avant ce dernier, sera irréversible. Quel est le sens de ce message ?Vais-je perdre toutes les améliorations apportées à mes photos ?Ou bien, ne pourrai-je plus revenir à l'état original de mes photos ? Avant toute validation, je voudrai être sûr de ce que je fais. Je n'avais pas ce message par le passé.

I have a "newbie" question. How can we  find photos with "Undetected" face region i.e. photos in which Ai tagging did run but didn't find any face?.

I am buying a new Imac so will need to move my LRC phootgraphs over to it.I see that I cannot have my Adobe Login open on two computers at the same time, so I have no idea then how I will move my photos over. If I have my login open on my existing computer to load all my photos, how do I then download and install LRC on my new computer?  I use Time Machine backup on my MAC. So plese advise how I should move all my phootgrpahs over to my new computer.

You haven't confused the meaning of the word Denoise? I need to remove noise, not add it. To remove noise, do I need to press Noise? Everything was working before, what did you do to this feature? 

Bonjour, J'ai exporté mon catalogue sur un disque externe. J'ai installé Lightroom sur le nouvel appareil et j'ai importé le catalogue. J'ai aussi installé Photoshop 2025 et des extensions Topaz Gigapixel, Denoize  et Sharpen. Dns mon ancienne installation les photos de mon catalogue étaient sur le disque externe. Et le document Catalogue.lrcat était sur mon disque C. Sur ma nouvelle installation j'aimerais que mon catalogue soit sur mon disque externe au lieu de prendre de l'espace sur mon disque C. Même si mes photos étaient toutes déjà sur mon disque externe, en créant la copie du catalogue ainsai qu'une copie temporaire complète des photos sur un dossier dédié à l'installation de Lightroom (Lightroom-transfer).  Je suis capable de modifier dans Photoshop les photos qui sont sur le disque externe dans le dossier Lightreoom-transfer. Mais je suis incapable de modifier dans Sharpen ou une autre application Topaz. Lightroom refuse d'ouvrir ces images

HiI was wondering if a new version of Lightroom Classic for Mac would be released soon. I'm sure this isn't a normal thing Adobe would tell us but my Lightroom Mobile app updated, I made edits & they won't sync back into Classic because it hasn't been updated. It says "There are photos edited with a newer version of Lightroom in your catalog Enabling sync without updating Lightroom Classic first will cause incompatible edits to be lost." I would rather not lose whatever edits I did in Mobile. If I did would it just be features not yet in Classic? I know I should have made sure they were both compatible with each each other... Thanks

I'm usding the Lens panel in Lightroom Classic to clear up chormatic aberrations and fringing. Under the menu Profile it only has less than a dozen older Canon lenses and nothing of the newer RF models. I think I must be missing profiles but I don't know how to find the profiles, do they need to be dowloaded or shouldn't they be already included in Lightroom? I have the latest version. How do I bring in the newer profiles so they will show and can be used?

Trying to help someone who is without Internet, today, ... For some reason, the camera they use regularly, is no longer showing up in their RAW DEFAULTS portion of that window (LrC > Preferences > Presets).  It was there... now it is not.  ??They are up-to-date on a macOS (Macbook Pro) with an external drive - no hardware or system issues.There are no bugs in my system (macOS - iMac),  and I could not find any for theirs, either. The last time I added a camera to my system was over a year ago, and I cannot for-the-life-of-me, recall what I did to get that camera model added to my Defaults.  But there it is, happily! They tried to Update Default and Relaunched LrC but got no change.  Even their camera brand (OM Digital Solutions) does not show in the pop-out list.   I have looked everywhere in the community and on Adobe for a solution but am coming-up blank. How do they get the camera model entered to register in the Defaults?&nbsp

Long time Lightroom user since version 1.0. Since Lightroom updated to 14.0.1 (Windows) I have been having trouble Importing photos from my memory card to the (internal) hard drive on my workstation. The process would be stuck at "Copy and Import Photos" and nothing happens. It would not copy the files, let alone renaming and cataloging them. When I cancel the import, Lightroom Classic would say "No photos or videos were found to import" and eject the card.This is the stuck screen.I have tried to:1) Start a new catalog. Same result.2) Uninstall, restart, reinstall Lightroom Classic. Same result. Lightroom has basically become useless. Is anyone else encountering this issue?

I think I found a bug in LrC when soft proofing. Typically when you edit a picture and then hit the compare button, you are shown on the left the original picture and on the right the edited picture, like on the top part of the following screenshot.But if you do soft proofing this comparison is broken, as you can see in the bottom part of the following screenshot, where I am being presented left and right with the same edited photo. Steps to reproduce:1- Click on soft proof2- Click on create proof copy3- Click on compare button  Before/After Button (Compare is a Library Feature)4- Click on single photo to show only edited picture5- Remove proof copy (only from LrC)6- Click on compare > l  Before/After Button (Compare is a Library Feature)   Result:Left edited phot and right edited photoExpected:Left is unedited/Right is edited Reproduction was done on version 14.5.1 Mod Comments in Bold
