Lightroom Classic

When I try to move photos, I get the error that they already exist in the destination. The problem is that those photos don't appear in the destination when I check. For example moving photos from location A (93 photos) to location B (23 photos), LRC claims that they are already in location B, even though location A has many more photos than location B.Also similar when I try to move a whole folder - LRC claims that the folder already exists in the destination. I can't see the folder in that destination.Can anyone help?

I added many presets to Lightroom and there were no problems. Then I deleted the presets from Lightroom, I don't know why, but now I can't load the same presets. I would appreciate any help.

 I hope I can explain this. on the left is LRC my SSD. September and October Arent showing up in what I think of as "the usual place" now they are appearing in another location? I tried to sync but that made it worst. My file system show fine.

Never seen thsi behavior. I have Raw images that I edit in Lightroom using my normal workflow. At times I will edit in Phtoshop from lightroom. Upon close it saves the edited raw as a tiff. Normally this is fine, but recently it applies the orginal adjustments for basic color mixer and curves on top of the tiff on save. I would expect the settings to be flat. The pictures appears blown out. Suddenly, the last 26 photos I've imported in my lightroom cataloug have the wrong GPS location. The actual files have the correct GPS location. I unchecked the "remove location info" in Export.  Then, I can reset their GPS location by importing the metatada from the original file and they appear correctly in Lightroom's map feature for a few moments, until the files synce with lightroom on the web again. Then, they all have the same GPS location as the 27th photo. No matter what I do. Need some help on this one. 

I set up some presets using Adaptive Colour and some (mainly luminance) masks.Nearly every time I come back to photos I've applied the reset to and look good, no longer look good (eg they become overexposed). Sometimes they seem to come good by themselves (eventually), sometimes they don't. I can't work out what's going on. I'm about to dump Adaptive Colour for presets and try Adobe Colour.  Are there known issues with using Adaptive Colour in presets? The values you assign to the preset one day that look good, the next day look really bad on the same photo. Seems to be an endless loop of adjustments! Are there any rules to follow when using Adaptive Colour?

I bought Lightroom 6 sometime in 2017. Now my previous computer broke and lightroom went with it. Well, no problem, I thought, I can download it back from the creative cloud to my new computer. But now it turned out that it can no longer be downloaded. What are my chances now? Can I get compensation or a refund for something for I can no longer use the product I bought and paid for? I didn't get any notice that the download file should be saved to yourself, because adobe no longer offers it for download. What now?

Recently, LRC started giving me the following error message when I close the app: Lightroom was unable to back up the catalog names "Lightroom 5 Catalog..." Please check your folder permissions, and make sure that you have available space on your backup drive and the main catalog's drive." I've tried several external drives to write the backup to and all fail with the same error. All have plenty of space. LRC was given full disk access in MAC OS. I have even tried to make a new catalog and then import the old one to it. That also fails with a generic error and does not complete. Any help would be appreciated! 

i7 13700 63GB RAMRTX 4070 12GB VRAM Importing 5.000 RAW shot on R5 Mk2 so 42mpx) with standard preview generation, LrC is set to use GPU for preview generation Import took just 2 minutes, standard preview generation took 20 minutes but what puzzles me the most is the resource usage: CPU is still the one being used the most bedtween 30-95% while GPU only between 5-25% with constant 2GB VRAM used. Is this normal?  

trying to export my images in lightroom and using Mogrify - but keep getting this message tring to export  Failed to Run MogriftyMore information will be the file LRMogrifty_Log on your desktop  can anybody help ? 

I just upgraded to MAC OS 15.7.1 (from 14).Now Lightroom Classic is not working. I  have the latest update - 14.5.1 Lightroom opens, and I see my folders on the left, but none of the photos display -they are just blank. help!!!!

I selected the Rename option to rename raw files on Import from my Windows 11 C drive.  That worked.  Then I tried to import a different set of files from the C drive, but specifically unchecked the Rename option.  However, the files were still mistakenly renamed.

I am in the need to find all entries in a LR Classic database, that actually have their link to the original photo broken. I haven't found a filter/attribute to do this.

When I download a group of pictures from LR, LR will add (number in sequence) in front of the actual number the pictures came with from the camera. How do you stop this? Original Number 1411after download from LR  -  001-1411 is there a fix?Im on LR on line Windows 11

I am having a challenge in the print module. I'm using LrC 14.5.1, Windows 11, printer is an Epson ET-8550. I have been trying to print 8.5 x 11" prints with a small border. I have all the margins set properly in the print module page layout, everything looks proper on the screen. It's the way I have been doing the prints for years. But the resulting print is consistently coming out as a 5 x 7" print on half of the paper. I'm not using any print template. I have two other printing programs, Qimage and Epson Print Layout, and they both print as expected. But I'm puzzled because LrC doesn't want to seem to print the full-page image. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

HiMy drive with all my photos was reporting errors  and so I cloned to a new internal hard drive    renamed itto the same letter as previous so not to mess up any links for LR classic The sync to cloud  icon top right has been saying uploading 395 for the past week  since the clone  and has been left on for over 24 hour hours.I have tried all teh solutions found on adobe website but still unable to sync the latest images to Lightroom mobile on Ipad.   Pc is windows 11 with latest update   LR classic also updated before cloniong Any ideas what i can do to get the syncing to update from 395 KR Andrew

Hi!I have not used LR for the last two years. My LR catalogue contains 200.000 photos and I desperatly want to see and handle these photos.I started the Photography plan 2013. I have Windows 10 and my hardware doesn't allow me to update to Windows 11.Today I logged in on my Adobe ID. When I click the latest LR catalogue the  question on trial comes. Why trial, I have payed since 2013!I am scared to update to the latest LR version since my old computer hardware may not be compatible.I really likes LightRoom and it's a perfect way to get an overview of my photos and make collections. I can't handle my photos without LR.Please, can anyone advice me how to proceed? RegardsLotta from Sweden

Hey y'all! I work across a bunch of different catalogs as an event photographer. About a month ago I started facing an issue where LrC won't open a new catalog on my system unless I reboot the computer fully. In practice, that means I have to reboot the computer any time I'm trying to switch between projects. I don't receive an error message - LrC just never launches. Any thoughts? Windows 10 64 bit - could this be a windows 10 issue? Should I just update to 11 with support life cycle ending this yearLrC 14.5.1

I am unable to save preference changes - I suspect the "Done" button is at the very bottom of some page, which I can't get to as the page can only be moved up a couple of cm.This is on an HP laptop, 15" screen
