Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1PureRaw 5.3.1Camera OM-5 MarkIILightroom Classic 14.5.1, Camera Raw 17.5I’m using Lightroom Plug-in Extras to transfer a file to PureRaw for processing and then the DNG is exported back to Lightroom. The original ORF file has the profile – Adobe Color. When the DNG is automatically imported back into Lightroom the profile has changed to Adobe Standard and there is a message: !Profile missing. The profile browser only has four options: Adaptive Color, Adaptive B&W, Color and Monochrome. It is missing all of the Adobe and Camera matching choices usually available. In the lefthand panel under Presets, the preset I had used to import the original ORF file is now greyed out and in italics. At the beginning of September, I was using my Olympus OMD em5 mark III together with PureRaw 5 and did not have this problem. All of the profiles were available for my camera after the DNG was imported. Then 2 weeks ago I upgraded to an OM-5 MarkII and
I've been trying the new HDR output for Lightroom classic, it's a game changer, I can't look at my SDR photos anymore. https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/hdr-output.html#Which format should I export my photos at so that they can be compatible with instagram ? thanks !
Hello, I currently use the old LR ver. 5.7.I will be downloading LR Classic. How do I go about converting my presets that are lrtemplate to xmp? Thank you.
Bursts and bracket shooting is becoming increasingly popular, and faster burst rates mean way more images. Where the images are required for focus stacking or HDR, it's sometimes difficult to determine the beginning and end of the burst. It's particularly difficult if trying multiple stacks of different camera settings with the camera on a tripod for a macro of the same item. It can be done with blank images at the start and finish but this requires moving out of burst or bracket mode then back in again.I understand that high-end cameras are capable of millisecond time stamps. Whether this is read to the card or not is another matter. However, assuming the information is available, it should be possible for LrC, to determine which images were shot within say 1/12th of a second (5 fps) or closer, then to mark them with a suitable metadata tag viewable in grid view, with each succeeding bust having its own unique tag. The interval should be u
LR Classic (Mac) 14.5.1Mac OS 26.0 I have several photos that I have imported in LR Classic. All retain their GPS data and show up on the map in LR. Photos were taken on an iPhone. GPS data also shows on original photos in Mac "Photos" app. Photos edited in LR and exported/imported into "Photos" no longer show location data. GPS coordinates also no longer show up on Mac "Get Info" for the image file. LR export settings have "all" metadata. Location data is NOT turned off. Internet searches, yielded no solution. I did, however, discouver the problem. Just can't find a way to resolve it. Mac seems to want to read GPS data as xx xx xx Nxx xx xx E Lightroom apparently removes the N and E at the end and exports the data that way . If I manually edit the GPS info in LR to include the N and E, and then export, all is well in both LR and the Mac. Simple enough, but not feasible to do this for almost 1,000 photos. Is there a way to bulk the "N" and
My LR catalague and photos etc are stored on my 2TB external (Samsung Shield) SSD drive. Even when I have closed Lightroom my SSD drive continues to flash and get warm/hot for hours. It doesnt do this before I open LR ..only when I have been using LR and then close it. I'm using a M4 Mac Mini with Tahoe 26 installed (the problem has been going on for months though) and the latest version of LR Classic 14.5.1 Ejecting the SSD is the only way to stop the SSD from conitinuing to blink and get hot. How do I get LR to actually close and stop creating work for my SSD drive once its been closed down?If I leave the SSD to blink and get hot overnight - will it eventually catch up with whatever work it is doing? I don't want to overheat my SSD though. Hope somone has the solution - thanks
Most of the documentation for the LrView "bind_to_object" and "key" properties is incorrect and omits important information. From the LR 14.3 SDK: API Reference LrView.bind() says in multiple places "bind_to_object" is a string. But in fact it is an observable table returned by LrBinding.makePropertyTable(). LrView.bind() omits the following about "key": A key name for the observed property. If "key" is of the form "x.y", then it refers to the key "y" in the table bound to key "x" in the current bound table. Are multiple dots allowed, e.g. "x.y.z"? LrBinding.andAllKeys() and LrBinding.orAllKeys() say "bind_to_object" is a string, but it is in fact a table as specified in LrView.bind(). LrBinding: Can the various instances of "key" be in in hierarchical form, as in LrView.bind()? Lightroom Classic SDK Guide Page 105: Says "bind_to_object: Optional. The name of an observable table which overrides the value of the
I have 2 questions here.1. Can you import, edit, and export images ... all from and then back to ... the same hard drive?2. Seeing as there are 2 "Import" buttons, are there advantages/disadvanteges to using only the "Import" button seen at the bottom righthand corner, under that panel. TY LrC 14.5.1Windows 11
Hello! Today i have a problem. When i try edit photos on lightroom classic develop mode, everywhere when i clicking apper window with "Copy settings" I tried to resolve this problem with all ideas from internet, i tried old version of lightroom, new catalog, hotkeys, i disconect keyboard, mouse etc etc and nothing work! I tried even if shortcut (CTRL+SHIFT+C) work but this shortcut DONT work ... What can be? Window from this shortcut apear only when i click anywhere on develop mode (1-2-3 clicks, depend) Please, i need help fast! Thanks a lot!
I have hundreds of files I have tagged with reject. When I execute cmd+del, the files disappear from the lightroom display. But when I import from the same folder(s), the files are still there, and are imported as new versions (with -1, -2, ... appended to file names). These are not virtual copies (each are ~35mb). The behavior is what I would expect if I selected the "remove from lightroom" option.Using Find Any File, the original file (without the -n appendage to the file name) cannot be found, but the -n files are all listed in Finder.Deleting PSD files works as expected. The word-around for this issue in an earlier post suggests using Finder. I am able to delete the files with Finder, but given that I need to delete 100s of files located in several folders, that solution is not practical. My OS is 10.5, Lightroom Classic, version 14.5.1. I have administrative privileges, and the file tags are "-rw-r--r-- staff". The files are all stored on the internal SSD. I have uninsta
I can't sync my photos from Lightroom Classic installed on Win 10 PC to newly installed Lightroom Mobile. Whenever I upload photos to synced album in LrC it gets cleared on both devices, only an empty folder remains in both apps. Please show me how to solve this issue.
Can anybody help me to open LrC? I've tried several ways (from HD and ACC) but It seems like a photofile is corrupting the task. I've tried to remove this particular file from the folder, but nope. The file next to could be removed. When I keep the cursor on the files, it says "syncronation awaiting"I have Win 11, LrC version 14.5.1BRHelge , DK
I have a new reformated SSD on which I have labouriously edited and rearranged my stock of photos into folders which group the photos into groupps and sub groups which are meanigful in the context of the photo locations etc. All the folders are grouped under a single "master folder" which is the only folder in the root of the drive. All good! The photos are a mix of CR2, tif, jpeg, psd, and mov. There are approximately 23000 and take a fraction over 1TB of drive space. Now the question! I want to introduce these the Lightroom as I have done in the past with no trouble. However this time I am baffled or I am completely insane.1) I select the file option "Import photo & video"2)I am offered all the drives on my PC as sources including the one I want. The file count confirms there are 24000. Include subfolders is checked..3) Copy as DNG is selected.4)Build smart previews is selected with the target on another drive (also reformatted) call "Backup ****". It to has a 2TB capac
According to dng_validate, the value of DefaultBlackRender is "Long = 1". However, LightRoom, including DNG Profile Editor, doesn't honour this tag and render as DefaultBlackRender = 0, resulting in darker tones. I'm having a problem with Lightroom Classic. I suddenly don't see the editing section anymore. Only the library. I've tried everything: restarting, starting with Shift and Option held down (MacOS). Can somebody help me?
I noticed that Capture One has a new feature namely Match Look. Maybe it's an idea that Lightroom would also have such a capability in the future.
I’m experiencing repeated freezes in the Develop module of Lightroom Classic. When I move between photos, the preview often remains stuck on the previous image for 10–15 seconds before updating. This happens intermittently but frequently enough to disrupt editing. I have read where you can right click on the development panels in the customize develop panel box to rearrange the development panel order. Well not on my version which is current. When I right click I get the Ø symbol and nothing changes. Any ideas whats going on.
I had corrupted macOS so need to redownload High Sierra wiping all applications and data, I have a legacy iMac 27inch (mid 2010). I have tried to contact Adobe via Live chat however no luck and they could only provided me with Lightroom Classic version 12 which is compatible with my macOS. Does anyone still have Lightroom Classic v9 - v9.4 on their system and can provide a copy to .dmg file or does anyone know where I can find a direct link to download Lightroom Classic v9 - v9.4? Please and Thank you to anyone reading this.
Desparate for help here! Last April I formatted an external drive to use as a scratch disk for Photoshop. Two days later I opened my Catalog in Lightroom to work on some photos. I navigated to the photo but, when I went to go from Library to Develop I received a message saying the photo couldn't be found. I then noticed "?" by all my photos! Even though my Catalog with all my thumbnails, virtual copies, previews, etc.was totally accessible, my originals were gone. I realized I had inadvertently formatted my drive with all my photos on it!!! I was devastated but, at least I still had an intact Catalog of everything. Then Lightroom had a new update and luckily I took Adobe's recommendation and had it create a zip file of the existing catalog prior to update. I moved the zip file to a safe location and updated the Catalog. When I went to open the Catalog after the update there were no thumbnails, virtual copies, previews..... all had disappeared with the update. I assumed that i
LrView.bind (key) creates a non-working binding when "key" contains a period. To reproduce, install this plugin: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fhx9521z9re47ro/bind-bug.lrdevplugin.2022.01.16.zip?dl=0 and then do File > Plug-in Extras > Bind Bug. That will produce this window: The first checkbox should be unchecked (white), not in the mixed state (hyphen). Tested on LR 11.1 / Mac OS 11.6.2. Just one more SDK bug to work around. Here's the script for the Bind Bug command: local LrBinding = import "LrBinding" local LrDialogs = import "LrDialogs" local LrFunctionContext = import "LrFunctionContext" local LrView = import "LrView" local bind = LrView.bind local f = LrView.osFactory() local key1 = "x.y" local key2 = "x_y" LrFunctionContext.callWithContext ("main", function (context) local prop = LrBinding.makePropertyTable (context) prop [key1], prop [key2] = false, false assert (prop [key1] == false) assert (prop [key2] ==
HiI have LR 14.2 and went back to 14.1.1, but still both versions do not show Loupe Info in Develop Module. Yes, I have done the Show Info Overlay thing, I have restarted LR several times, even my computer. It is frustrating. When I go to the menu, it does have a check that it is enabled, just that they just don't show up.Iliyas [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
I'm having issues importing a few images. I'm in the process of moving my images to an external drive, and while I'm at it, I'm making sure lightroom matches my 'pictures' folder. I have found some images that are in a folder but not in my Lightroom catalogue. I'm not certain if they were there at some stage but aren't any longer or if they were never there. So I moved these files to a folder I use to import from and tried to import them. However, when I did, there were no images found in the folder to import. I made sure the images were in the correct folder, and they were. I moved them to another folder and tried to import them from there. Same result. I tried adding a fresh image to the folder from my camera. Sure enough, it appeared as usual, but not the other images in the same folder. They are not greyed out as happens with images I already have imported. I tried searching for the file name in case they were elsewhere in my catalogue, but they didn't come up. I tried renaming
The info overlay is missing for a few days now in Library and develop mode. I've updated my Mac and Adobe apps so I'm not sure where the problem lies (LR 14.5 and MAcOS Sequoia 15.6.1 ).I've searched the internet and can not find a sollution and the j and i keys do not fix the problem.Even after I deleted and reinstalled LR the problem still isn't gone, and now I cant't even see the file name in the grid. Also I can not right click to send photo's tp Photoshop. It would be very nice to have sollutions to fix both of these problems. Thank you so much if you can provide solutions. Judith
