Often when creating a new catalog, this is overlooked and settings are not saved.
Após a nova atualização de Agosto a Inteligencia Artificial Generativa não está mais funcionando no Photoshop e Lightroom Classic e o Adobe Creative Cloud não abre e não consigo desinstalar ou reparar!
I have an accumulation of Other Lightroom Device showing up in the LrC folders (see attachment). What are these? Do I need them? How do I get rid of them? Also, is there a way to reorganize the order of what is in the folders section (like MacHD and external HD with pictures?).
My plugin EvalFocus.lrplugin ,I select photos from catalog and launch plugin, plugin process photos takes long time, so I do another task, develop for example.when 'Undo" in develop module,Expected resultsUndo operation at develop module just before.Acutal resultsLightroom looks Undo plugin operation. ( Undo (string specified withWriteAccessDo() ) appears on monitor)but nothing undoable, plugin runs continue. Is there way to fix plugin to tell lightroom "plugin cannot undoable" and Undo develop operations?Lightoom 14.4 / macOS 15.6
I'd love to be able to add a white border while I edit in develop mode, as many times that is how I display my images. it would help to visualize the image in its final form better. Thx!
I've updated to 14.5 today on Windows 11 (24H2 - 26100.4946) It used the GPU nicely and the import was MUCH faster overall. However, twice it's hung at the last import or 6. I imported 671 photos, and the first time it just hung at "Building Standard Previews 665 of 671". I deleted all the images, and re-ran the import, and this time it hung at "Building Standard Previews 671 of 671" While it's hung like this, the LrC process is using around 50% of my CPU. I've left it for around 10 minutes, and nothing is happening, just using CPU doing nothing it seems. Anyone else seeing something like this? Release 14.2 cannot open Lightroom edited photos in Photoshop 26.5 or Photoshop Beta 26.6. Opens Smart Objects without a problem.
Mac version: macOS Monterey 12.7.6Lightroom CC Classic: 13.5.1 I aware a 13.4GB "Mobile Downloads.lrdata" when I move cc classic to new mac machine After study what is this file about, I find it related to I sycned iphone in past (should be import iphone in past), seem the file flow is from iphone syn to clould and cc classic download those sync photo from clould to local to create this "Mobile Downloads.lrdata". My question is, is there any way to housekeep "Mobile Downloads.lrdata"I located "iphone" under "Folders" and drag those file to my NAS, the size of "Mobile Downloads.lrdata" remain unchange, should I deal with this problem in clould level?
I am having difficulty adding a lengthy quotation to a single slide in a slideshow. How is that done. Thanks
Hi,Whenever I upload new photos to LRC saving them to an external HD and OneDrive I receive an email from OneDrive "We noticed that you have recently deleted a large number of files from your OneDrive". Looking in the recycle bin the files include - Lightroom Catalog Ircat - walmetadatahelper.db -walpreviews.db. journal376E23AC-A33F.......................................... Can anyone help with explaning why these files were deleted, what they might be and whether they should be restored? Maybe this post might be more suited to a OneDrive forum but I have started here. Cheers, Lynton

Hi I have an surface book 2 (3000 x 2000 resolution) with a secondary screen connected (1920 x 1200) over the docking station. For my first screen (surface book 2) , I have the option in Windows 10 that the size of text, apps and other items is shown as 200% (recommended) , on my secondary screen with the lower resolution i have this option at 100 % (also recommended for that screen). - When I move lightroom from the one screen to other I have restart lightroom that the scaling works fine. (from surface book to external screen and vice versa) - Afterwards everything is looking fine on the external screen except all the menus on the top (File,Edit,Print....)which stay really big. This seems to be a bug in lightroom because with photoshop and all other programs everything is working without any problem...... Please correct this Adobe!!!! Thanks a lot
Hello,My CPU temperature easily rises to 95°C and then cools down again thanks to the fan. When I batch process 10, 20, or 40 photos, the same thing happens when exporting these photos to jpg files, and the process slows down considerably.Hardware acceleration is enabled in both Lightroom and Photoshop. I have the latest NVIDIA graphics driver 572.83, completely cleaned of all unnecessary items using NVCleanstall.I should also point out that I have an HP Omen PC with an i7 12700, and I know it's not as good in terms of cooling performance as a PC that has been rebuilt (my CPU fan is 92 mm, meh). But this problem is new, so is this the beginning of a technical problem for me, or is it a bug in Lightroom version 14.2? I would be very grateful to know if I'm alone in this situation or if others have already encountered this problem.Have a good evening and a good day everyone, and thank you for your feedback.
Dear Lightroom Team, I would like to request a feature that would make working with photo stacks much more efficient. Example:In my workflow, I have a panorama stack in the collection path:Travel → Destination → RAW After I stack the panorama (group) and perform color correction, I want to move the entire group of 9 photos to a new collection:Travel → Destination → Edited Currently, Lightroom only allows moving photos individually, which breaks the stack. This means that if I have a panorama stack or any group of images, I have to manually move each photo, then restack them in the new collection. Suggested Improvement:It would be very helpful to have the option to move the entire stack as one unit between collections—without breaking it. For example, pressing CTRL (or CMD) + mouse drag could move the full stack instead of just individual files. This would be useful not only for panoramas, but also when returning edited images from Photoshop back into Lightroom Classic (which often crea
Will Lightroom Classic read the metadata that I have added to the jpegs of my jpeg+raw pairs of images?I don't own Lightroom yet. I shoot jpeg+raw. I have added keywords and star ratings to many of my jpegs. If I decide to get Lightroom Classic it would be nice if it would read this information from the jpegs and associate it with the raws.
I bought LR5 in 2015 for my Mac with High Sierra OS. I have a new Mac with Sequoia OS but LR5 cannot be migrated to the new Mac. I am told by Adobe the new operating system is incompatible. My question is 1. How do I use LR5 on my new Mac - which may be unfeasible and 2. How do I salvage my work on my old Mac? Can I upgrade to the newest version of LR and how do I import my work from my old Mac? Thanks.
Using LR Classic 14.2 on a new PC, settings for the "single-slider" local adjustments like Temperature, Tint, Contrast ... are not remembered. On another PC, they are remembered as expected. Concrete steps (example):1. Press M to crate new gradient2. Select Temp -> show some value like +253. Edit value to +10 (name of adjustment changes from Temp to Custom)4. Draw gradient5. Press M to draw new gradient -> we are still adjusting with Temp slider set to 106. Select another adjustment like Tint and work with that7. Later, when selecting Temp again, we expect to get back to the last used value 10.But on the new PC, we get strange value, often changing by +-1 (and oftemn not close to previously used value) What can be wrong with the LR installation / settings on the new PC ?
I have a new Laptop running Windows 11. My old was Windows 10. I can't get my new LRC to present my pix or thumbnails from my previous catalog. The library screen populates with 270 blank thumbnails showing the edits symbols for those pix but no images. If I want a particular image who's name is evidient on the blank thubnail, I need to import it individually. How do I organize the files to populate the images?
Some photos in my Lightroom catalog have been moved, so Lightroom can no longer find them. Such photos are marked "!" by Lightroom, but Lightroom does not appear to allow me to search for them and mark them for removal from the catalog. Marking each such item manually is exceedingly laborious. What am I missing? Is there a means of searching for and marking such items?
PC is an i7-13700k, 96GB RAM, M.2 SSDs, GPU is NVidia 4070 Super 12GB Prior to yesterday I have had the same configuration for one - two years except the GPU was NVidia 1660Ti 6GB. Lightroom Classic had generally run okay but was slowing down with each update. Most have told me this is likely due to each release optimizing moreso for newer GPU technology. In the past month things got bad to the point that photos with a small handful of healing brush uses or masks would almost freeze up and take several minutes to render in the develop panel before allowing extremely slow and jerky editing. VRAM usage typically say around 5.5GB of the 6GB my card had. Swapping to another photo without masks/brushes would not decrease VRAM usage but would allow LrC to return to normal operation. I upgraded to the 4070 Super yesterday. I installed as a clean install the newest driver from NVidia. Generally performance improved considerably including on photos I had trouble with before
Heya Team! Having an issue with the Denoise feature in lightroom. Running the process, no errors, warnings etc, but the result seems to be ineffective. Ive checked hard drive space, updates, drivers etc. but no issues I can disern. Runs to completion, but no impact on image quality. It did work before. No idea what has changed. Thanks in advance for help!
Hi all, since I upgraded from LRC 13.4 which worked flawlessly to 14.3.1 on my Macbook Air M3 on Sequoia 15.4.1 ; I see Cpu consumption extremely going up beyond 100celsius and GPU temperatures upt ot 80celsius; It seems following to me:- For some reason rendering preview data consumes much more CPU/GPU than before- For some reason even consuming almost all CPU/GPU for rendering of Previews is much much slower- For some reason on switch ot the next Image the preview seems to be rendered/caclulated again, CPU/GPU ruuning to 105c/80c degrees for about 2-3 seconds. On LRC 13.4 this worked as expected, fast only short spikes of CPU and after rendering of previews very fast with low CPU as you woud expect from the 2nd fastest ARM CPU beside the M4; But even with more CPU-Power it seems all CPU is sucked up like in a black whole.I deed already a lot- purged review cache- Resetted LR Preferences- Deleted the review Cache and then started the LRC againThe Preview Cache for 81 Nikon Z8
I was having an issue with Lightroom Classic 13.4 staying on top of all other windows when using it. Selecting another app in the task bar did not bring up that app on top of Lightroom, I had to minimize Lightroom in order to see any other application, including Photoshop when I would attempt to open an image in PS from Lightroom. I am running Windows 11, version 23H2 with all updates on a Lenovo laptop and 32 GB RAM. A tip from a post originally posted in 2018 and replied to in 2020 has solved the problem more easily than restarting Lightroom which only solved it briefly. Here's the tip that worked for me:In LR Classic go to Window/Screen Mode and choose Full Screen with Menubar. Then immediately go to Window/Screen Mode again, and this time choose Normal.
My workflow for several years has included migrating images to external devices (USB connected hard drives) when I need space on my hard drive. I do this by creating a folder on the external hard drive, selecting the images to migrate and then dragging them to the new folder in Lightroom. This has worked very well for several years.Yesterday I was surprised to see that the previews for the images with the '!' symbol (the ones that had been migrated off of the hard drive) were missing. The metadata was still there and appeared accurate, but instead of a picture, I saw only a gray box.In most cases, I am able to get the preview back by attaching the external device and clicking on the '!' symbol to find the image. But I have around 20 thousand images in my catalog, and there are hundreds of missing previews. I can use ratings, labels and sometimes text to filter the images somewhat, but getting back the image previews I want for a particular project is
Why is it that I seem to frequently lose my info overlays in both grid and loupe views in Lightroom Classic? I can only get them back by restarting LR.
