Lightroom Classic

I have a very simple user script in Lightroom. It decreases exposure by 0.05. local LrDevelopController = import "LrDevelopController" local value = LrDevelopController.getValue("Exposure") LrDevelopController.setValue("Exposure", value - 0.05)  When I call the script by clicking in the User script menu, it gets applied instantly.  In macOS "Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcut > App Shortcuts > Adobe Lightroom Classic", I setup a dedicated keyboard shortcut ("ctrl+opt+command+shift+E" but it could be anything). When I call the same user script via its shortcut in the Develop module, the photo (not the UI) goes black for more or less 1 second before being displayed with the adjustment. Can you please help me fix this? Machine:Macbook M2 ProSequoia 15.5 (but issue was already present months ago)RAM 16GbLightroom Classic 14.3.1 (but issue was already present months ago)

Hi all, I have a Lenovo laptop and have just bought a SSD. I am wanting to use my SSD for lightroom and to important my photos to from my SD card to my SSD, so that it doesn't take up storage on my laptop. How do I do this please?

I downloaded LR 14.4 a few days ago and edited a couple hundred pictures. i use a 14 TB hard drive at home. I am now travelling and use a smaller 2TB drive which I then copy tomy home hard drive, and when I tried to open LR it couldn't find a version 14 catalogue. I looked on my computer's hard drive and the only catalogues are for version 13.3. Since LR doesn't recognize older catalogue versions I'm kind of stuck. Should I create a new catalogue for the trip and when I get home try to merge the old 13.3 version with the new 14 version, or can I update the version 13.3 catalogue to new version 14 catalogue, if so how? Or is there another solution? Thank you for your helpMarty

LRC 14.3 Windows 11 Denoise not working on ORF file - shows rotated partial negative image of photo and all options blanked out  and message "enhance cannot be applied to the selected photo".  It worked on 14.2  so this has to be a new bug. Please fix ASAP!

Masks are not "sticking". Meaning I'll have a mask on the photo and then I'll get the error in this screenshot. The problem is that the update doesn't actually stay. If I check again later on (sometimes a few minutes sometimes the next day) it says the same thing. This happens when I select objects/backgrounds/subjects  Version 14 (although it was happening on 13.5, I just updated to 14 to try again). MacOS 14.6.1 (23G93)

Hello! Since updating to 14.3.1, whenever I edit a photo in PS (I'm using Beta, 26.9.0, which I used before with no issue), close and save, instead of saving it into the original folder in LR, it creates a new folder at the main root with the same name as the original folder and puts it in there. For example, currently editing: 2025>2025-06-07 Ally and Mike Edited an image in Photoshop, closed and saved, it took me back into the above folder but the edited one was no where to be found. So I looked over under "folders" and there was a new folder listed on my HD:2025-06-07 Ally and Mike With 1 image in it: the edited file.This is a problem becauseA.) I just want the edited file to go into the original folder, like it always did andB.) If I try to temporarily rectify it by dragging the edited file into the original folder, I get the error "this file already exists at that location" even though it does NOT exist. I know this because it has been named something differ

Synchronize Folder sometimes shows photos as missing when they're not. I'm migrating my LR Classic (v14.0.1) catalog to LR CC (v8.0), and the migrate hangs at 82%, in the 'Adding Albums' stage. LR is responsive, but nothing seems to be going on. I've read all Help topics I can find without finding a solution. I'm hesitant to restart the migration again to avoid problems with the migration. What should I try next? This has persisted now for a few days with no visible progress. I've restarted the migration, booted my mac, and plain old waited at this stage first for ~24h and now for another 10 h. LR is responsive, but with very little activity registering on Activity Monitor (low CPU & GPU usage, little disk use, no discernible network activity).  My Lightroom CC cloud storage stands at 621 GB, which means that ~53 GB of my photos are still awaiting upload. Ich arbeite mit LrC 14.3.1 auf Mac mit macOS Sequoai 15.3.2 Wenn ich Bilder importiere und dabei Stichworte vergebe, so sind diese nach Abschluß des Imports nicht mehr sichtbar. Dies gilt dann auch für alle im Archiv befindlichen Bilder.Wenn ich anschliessend Lightroom neu starte sind alle Stichwörter, auch die der neuimportierten Bilder wieder sichtbar. Verhalten ist nicht immer reproduzierbar und tritt bei jedem Import nach Neustart auf. 

Lr Classic v14.4 Lost KWs in the Keyword List and removed keywords assigned to photos.   Example KW List had a hierarchy of political taxanomic terms (continent, federal, state/province/canton/etc., county/shire/etc., municipality). For example, Kennebunkport Maine would be: Kennebunkport<York<Maine<US<NA<_Places. All of the hierarchy is missing.   Most photos, 10s of thousands, had the keywords from _Places removed. Some have only the municipality (no hierarchy).   I have other hierarchies of keywords that are also missing and those KWs removed from photos.   How do I restore them?   I have tried the post that discussed deleting <catalog> Helper.lrdata. In the new Lightroom Classic 14.4, if you roll back a Denoise edit in the History panel, can you reclaim the space it used in the .lrcat-data file by running Optimize Catalog to reduce the file size? I assume the same question applies to other data stored in .lrcat-data too, such as masks, healing layers, and AI-driven edits?

Hallo liebes Forum,Bei meiner Bearbeitung von einigen Bildern bin ich auf ein sehr großes Problem gestoßen:Wenn ich ein Hochformat in der Bibliothek anklicke wird es zwar noch korrekt angezeigt, wenn ich es jedoch in "Entwickeln" zum bearbeiten anzeigen lasse wird das Foto irgendwie komisch verzerrt.Ich habe schon alle Einstellungen zurückgesetzt, nichts hat geholfen. Es werden zwar alle Einstellungen wie Licht, Farbe etc. zurückgesetzt, die Verzerrung bleibt jedoch. "Freistellen" habe ich auch schon versucht, hat nicht geholfen. Hatte das Problem jemand schonmal?Es kann auch sein, dass ich irgendwas eingestellt habe womit ich mich nicht auskenne.Danke im Voraus!

Version 14.3.1OS: 15.3.1Camera: Canon EOS R5 The bug: when pasting develop settings, there is a small lag between those settings being applied to the image/catalogue metadata, and that change being represented functionally as an actionable history step in the lightroom interface - and if you stop the process of a change being made on a large batch of images here midway, you won't be able to access bulk-undo of that mistake with CMD+Z, as it's busy applying that change to everything still behind the scenes, in spite of the progress bar you've just stopped indicating that it had been stopped halfway, for example. This is most pronounced when pasting settings in bulk, where a large volume of images are modifed in their metadata via a change that's pasted, and that lag creating a huge problem if the user stops the process midway and exploits the bug where the lightroom interface is not correctly storing that action as something you can undo with CMD+Z while everything is still selecte

I have upgraded to lightroom clasic CC. I think thee is a bug in the masking develop module. When I use a mask and then click to see the overlay, it leaves a very slight red cast to the area I have been working on even once I have turned off the overlay view.This is particularly noticeable when working on monochromes. It is happening when I switch to B&W mode in lightroom and even when I import from Nik Silver Efex and start a bit of extra work from the Lightroom develop module.Any ideas?

when i am editing on lightroom, after like 5 minutes of using it i loose the ability to use keyboard short cuts and right clicking. when i am outside of lightroom my keyboard and right clicking works fine. I have tried hitting esc and enter as some have said that has works and soemtimes it works but i am just wondering if this is happening for anyone else. My LRC is up to date and so is my Mac.

I am new to tethering.  I have a Nikon Z6ii and a new Macbook Air.  I can get my images to tether in to Lightroom, but they do not save to the SD card.  Is there something I can do to get both? I have a high volume job coming up that I need to show clients images but would also like them saved on the SD card, as I work off of a desktop.

Hello! I have the following problem in Lightroom Classic (13.4), that is blocking my workflow. Maybe someone could help me out with this one. Whenever I use the remove tool in the develop module, soon after there is the warning "Some Remove Settings need to be updated" and the changes that where done are gone. This happens espacially when I go on to a different photo and return to the previous one shortly after. All (new) changes that I had done before with the remove tool are affected. Other edits/changes are not affected. This also happens sometimes while I use the remove tool in the same moment, in this case only the most recent instance is affected. But the other ones that have been done before that, will be affected afterwards after going to a different photo and then returning to this one. Using "Update all" is only working for a few moments, the problem keeps on returning. All remove tool instances that where done before the issue occurs for the fir

HiI imported a lot of photos from our Ruby Wedding anniversary holiday. I saw they were all in the Previous import folder and thought everything was OK, so I removed the card, put it back in the camera and reformatted it.Today, I opened LRC with the intention of looking at them and starting the edting process, but they are not where they should be - I import to year and day folders, with a copy to another location as a back up. The photos are not in the year and date folders, nor on the backup drive. When I click a photo in the Previous import folder and ask it to show me in Finder it says it can't find my camera card.So where did it import the photos to? I have searched my hard drive and the external drives I use and I can't find the photos anywhere.Can anyone offer any help? TIASteve
