Hi everyone,I have a problem with the library tab in Lightroom Classic 9.2 on Windows 10:When editing a photo in develop mode and then going back to library mode (for example, to add tags), all my edits are "gone". And by all edits I mean everything, also cropping etc. and not only color. I can only see the edits when I go back to develop mode, but not in the previews nor in library mode. This makes it hard to work with the library and its functions (e.g. tags) at all.I noticed that this happens with some, but not with all photos, and especially (although unfortunately not exclusively) with photos where I only cropped or aligned the picture and did not do any further edits! Anyone else had the same problem and came up with a solution?Thank you! This is how the photo looks when I edited/cropped it (and saved metadata already):         As you can see, the photo is unchanged in library mode, uncropped. Par exemple, je ne peux plus travailler l'exposition ou les hautes lumières du sujet sélectionné. LEs réglages de base s'appliquent à toute la photo. Cela fonctionnait il y a quelques jours. Hello, I purchased a perpetual license of LIghtroom 3.6 more than 10 years ago.  I need to move it to a new Windows computer I recently purchased.  Is that still possible? Is there a way for me to download version 3.x from Adobe as I still have the license key for it. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.   

Hi. I have Onedrive, like most pcs, and Lightroom stores the catalog files under photos. This automatically gets Onedrive to sync. It's causing me major headaches. Onedrive is asking me to confirm deleting thousands of files--which appear to be previews. At this point I'd like to move lightroom out of onedrive. Can I just copy the files on another internal drive and redirect lightroom to that catalog? Under pictures I have a Lightroom folder and a Lightroom Catalog folder. I think the former is the more current. Does lightroom only create the one folder usually? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

I've seen others have this problem but not a sure solution. The people AI mask would not recognize anyone on my desktop or laptop. All the other masks work great! In lightroom when I open the people mask the little wheel spins for just a sec like it's looking for faces then disappears with no faces found. However, if I try to use it in Camera Raw I get the "Unable to load AI selection model" error  The main suggestion I keep seeing was to update the driver in the graphics card. Which I did for both. It actually fixed the problem on my laptop although I never use it for editing only for on-location tethering, so not much help there.  The desktop which actually has a, older, but better graphics card it did not resolve the issue,  Is there anything else I should try?  Graphics Card ( NVIDIA GeForce 730) is about 4 or 5 years old but has 2 gig of Vram. The driver was just updated and was dated 12/22 so should be the very latest. Running WIN 11 Open to any

I recently upgraded my camera from a Nikon D7200 to a D850. For the past nine years all has been fine processing 10,000+ photos in LRC on my PC. Now with the D850, I'm stonewalled. What I have read looking around isn't very encouraging. Is Light Room Classic useless with Nikon gear???

Yes, I know I need to upgrade my desktop computer.  Windows 10,  Intel Core l7-3770 CPU, 3.4 Hz, 32 GB Ram.  However, LRC 14.01 worked fine a week ago, and now does not show preview photos on the import screen.  It also does not show all my files in the Folders section; I have a dedicated external hard drive that has all my photos and it only shows 2 old folders.  I can see them using File Explorer, but LRC does not.   What happened in a week of not being used?

Hello,with LrC 14.3.1 (and also some previous version) the picture export via 'File -> Export ...' is compared to the past limited regarding its CPU usage, i.e. now the pCores of my i7 13700K are almost ignored (idle at 800 MHz). This slows down the file export a lot. Do I have missed some new option? How do I get back the usage of the pCores? Maybe also important: My NVIDIA 4070S GPU is also only at approx. 15 % load.Addendum:Now, about 3 hours after start, the hardware usage looks completely different:2 pCores are with about 80 % load in use (running with approx. 5 GHz each), the eCores and the GPU is idle.  Greetings! .Michael. P.S. I use a PC with Win11 Home 24H2 and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM.

Why do my LrC watermarks no longer work. I have used them for years but now I cannot export using my watermarks?I get an error message saying 'Watermarks Failed, unable to export'.

I just updated to the latest version of lightroom classic to 14.3 on my macbook pro running Sequoia 15.4.1 ever since doing this my vignette stopped working! any idea? a bug?

Hello, I am having a problem error show up randomly when I am trying to export different photos. I messaged with a person on the Adobe Instagram for a few hours yesterday trying to fix the problem. They had me do everything under the sun in lightroom to hopefully find the problem. I was told to post here, for expert help. I attached a screenshot of the error message, I tried to attach screenshots of my messaging with Adobe on Instagram but it is not allowing me to attach them. I used Lightroom Classic 14.3 on my 1 year old computer (iBUYPOWER Slate 8 MESH Gaming Desktop PC) I am frustrated because I feel that since Lightroom has added so many new features and upped the subscription prices, the software itself has not run the way it is supposed to. Photographers should not be expected to pay $60 plus a month for software that every few months has problems.. Then every 5 years or so have to buy brand new computers to support the ridiculous amount of ram needed to run

After I updated to version 14.3 in Lightroom, the images in develop mode are stuck.

masking, downloaded LRC to my new LT. Masking isn't working correctly. picked teeth, face body skin. applies teeth to whiten, and the face was changed, body was changes ?

I can't figure out the shortcut for the color purple when organizing my pictures on Lightroom. There is a shortcut for all the other four colors. They're numbers 6-9, so did Adobe just not give purple shortcut because they ran out of numbers?

Just updated my lightroom and now it gives me the "Blue screen of death" in the middle of processing a photo and won't connect my graphics card. Nvidia GTX 1650 4gb 

Hey there, How do I export an original unedited version of a photo I aready edited? I need something I can use and not the lightroom file and metadata I keep getting when I try to export an original. I edited these photos months ago. I don't see why this should be so difficult so any help is much appreciated.  Kevin

Lightroom Classic 14.3.1; Windows 11; NEF photos from Nikon Z6ii I have the box in Catalog settings "Automatically write changes into XMP" checked. I have confirmed this by checking and double-checking. I have also turned it off, shut down LrC, and then re-opened LrC and checked the box. The .xmp files are not updated "automatically". None of this helped. Whatever changes I make to the .NEF files, the .xmp files are not updated. How do I know? At the same time I am editing in LrC or adding metadata in LrC, I have a Windows Explorer window on my screen showing the folder with the .xmp file in question. I make changes in LrC, the modified date on the .xmp file does not change, and the size of the .xmp file does not change. If I add a keyword to the file, such as "Barn", I can search the .xmp file with a text editor, and that keyword is not in the .xmp file. Even if I wait 5 minutes and shut down LrC and come back later, the size and modified date of the .xmp file has not change

I'm using LIghtroom Classic 14.1.1 on Windows 11. A few months ago, I had to reinstall Windows. My Lightroom photos and catalogs are on a 4TB NVME stick [EDIT: internal 4TB NVME Crucial P3 SSD] as my F drive.  Ever since I reinstalled Windows, Lightroom no longer no longer automatically writes metadata into XMP despite having "Automatically write changes into XMP" set under "Catalog Settings -> Metadata".  When I add a keyword or color tag to a photo, the Metadata conflict symbol appears, and I can press Ctrl+S to save the metadata.  It used to do this automatically.  I've toggled the setting and restarted Lightroom several times before/after toggling the setting to no avail.  The photo metadata is being saved in the catalog but not the separate XMP files for my Nikon NEF RAW files, nor Apple iPhone HEIC files, or even JPG files so the metadata conflict tag is accurate. As I said, I did reinstall Windows around the time that it stopped working
