Tone curve can't copy!!! copy setting and after paste tone curve only default value

Hallo zusammen,ich nutze nach längerer Pause LRC wieder und habe nun das folgende Problem... Wenn ich aus meinen RAW Dateien DNG erstellen will oder aus mehreren RAW ein Panoramabild, dann erscheint die Meldung "Die Datei konnte aufgrund von Berechtigungsproblemen nicht gespeichert werden". Ich habe daraufhin für LRC, LR und Creative Cloud den Festplattenvollzugriff eingerichtet.Das hat leider absolut gar nichts verändert. Könnt Ihr mir n Tipp geben, was ich noch machen kann? Mein Mac läuft unter Sequoia 15.3 (älterer Mac geupdatet per OpenCore Legacy Patcher).Ich bin selbst als Admin angemeldet. Habe keine Ahnung was ich noch machen soll...

Hi I was having problems with my LR CC so turned something off think it was to do with the graphics. Now cant remember what I did and it cant open. I can click on it and it bounces but nothing else. I'm on a mac, please help someone I've backups but cant seem to get it to reinstall either.

Hello, I've been using Lightroom for a very long time and I think it would be extremely helpful to have a way to go through images in library mode (loupe mode) and be able to quick develop exposure with +/- 0,10 increments wihtout using a mouse. Ideally going through single images (in loupe mode) with left/right arrows and change exposure quickly with the up/down arrows. Right now the only way to do it is in develop mode (I just increase the exposure on the first image with the arrow key and then go to the next image and still i'm able to increse/decrease exposure as long as I don't move to a different slider) but it's much slower to go through images in develop mode.  If there is a way already please let me know! Thanks  

I just updated to LrC 14.2 on MacOS 15.3.1 MacBookPro M4 Pro and it was consistently crashing on every launch - hang with spinning beach ball and shows unresponsive in activity monitor. Happens right after the library screen appears. Lr (cloud) was launching successfully the whole time and syncing just fine, so ruled out a sync issue. Here's what I discovered if it helps anyone, because it seemed this was happening at the point where LrC usually accesses the external NAS (connected via SMB) for photo originals: 1. Revert back to LrC 14.1.1 -> Successful launch2. Reset Presets and update to 14.2 again -> failure, crash on launch2a. Launch in Rosetta mode -> failure, crash on launch 2b. Completely uninstall (Adobe CC cleaner) and reinstall 14.2 -> failure, crash on launch3. Update to 14.2 again, dismount NAS drive where photo originals are stored (Catalog is of course on main HD) before launching -> Success4. as with #3, but mount NAS after successful l

Suddenly the ai noise reduction in lightroom classic does not work, what is wrong? 

Subject pretty much explains it. Image is not a Smart Preview.Tried resetting the preference file. Did not help. Uninstalled LR/PS and the Creative Cloud App. Reinstlled the app, PS and LR. Did not help.

Hello,I am trying to open scans made with SilverFast9 with Lightroom but when I try to import the folder “without physically moving the files” Lightroom gets stuck without importing anything. I have tried with both Tiif and DNG files and the result is always the same. Specifically for the DNGs I had started importing them one at a time and it read them correctly but then trying to move the destination folder to import them all at once gave me the same error (so I don't think it depends on the format). I also tried importing them one at a time but with no change. They are tiff/dng files that weigh around 200mb and photoshop correctly reads both files.What could be the problem?

I have purchased a MAC having previously been using windows 10.  I have downloaded Lightroom Classic and when I go to open my catalog from my external hard drive I get the following message.   Lightroom cannot launch with this catalog. It is either on a network volume or on a volume on which Lightroom cannot save changes   Anyone know how to help?   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator}   

I have just returned from a month at the Kumbh Mela in India. I have 12,000 photos on my iPhone that I want to import to an external drive and Lightroom Classic on my desktop. I do not have the cloud-based version, not do I want it. Last time I tried this, about six months ago it was a disaster!Connecting my iPhone to my computer/external drive with a cord does not allow me to complete the transfer. There doesn't seem to be enough power to do it. Not sure if it's the cord, or something else.The best solution I could come up with last time was transferring everything from my phone to a SanDisk iXpand Drive thumb drive and from there to the external drive and into LR.Unfortunately the SanDisk drive does not keep the photos in any order so it was just a random mess!Please give me a solution to transfer 12,000 iPhone photos to my computer/external drive/LR that works.

As a daily user of Lightroom for 18 years and Photoshop for 35 years, just a note to Adobe about deeply offensive I find it that you choose to sell out your dedicated base of serious users and call Lightroom Lightroom "Classic" - pushing the absurd idea that a phone or tablet would somehow be the default or most prioritized way of editing photos. Total nonsense. There is Lightroom, and then the Lightroom mobile app.

My computer is running Windows 11.  My C: drive is running out of space and I need to deinstall Lightroom Classic (Software) and reinstall it on my 😧 drive.  Is there a place in Adobe Creative Cloud or in the intallation process that will ask me for the destination drive where I want the software to be installed?  Are there any issues with the deinstallation process?  Will it leave any files on my C: drive?  Thanks!!

When I right click on a folder in Lightroom Classic 12.4, and select ;Syncronise Folder',  'Import new photos' shows some files to import, however, when I click [Syncronise] it displays 'Importing files at their current location' , but after a while reports 'No Photos or videos to Import'.  I'm confused!

No that's not a typo. I have a new pc and while I carefully backed up my import presets I can't find how to restore them. Inevitably any search on "import presets" comes up with how to import Develop presets. I've done that, got my Develop presets back but... please, how do I restore my import presets? I'm sure it falls under the heading of "it's easy if you know how" but I don't know how. Thanks.

When I go to save a file I sometimes get the message:'Some original copy is missing. Do you want to continue with the smart previews?'How can I solve this, as there is no option available after this message?

I have a problem. I use LrC since 2020. I process the files so that they come out in TIFF. Suddenly the ITFFs that used to be 76MG are now 8 MG. Same camera, same lens, same workflow. Is it that I have too many photos in the collections and LrC is saturated?

Hi, I want to ask… Why does my Lightroom automatically apply a preset when I export a new image in format? How do I turn off this setting?

Hello, I have updated my Mac software (15.3.1) and Lightroom Classic (14.2), NOT WORKING. It was working last night when I exited and backed up my catalog, but not today. It gets past the preferences stage, goes automatically to recent imports, then stops functioning (just spinning wheel).  I have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail. Please help.

I apologize in advance for starting what may be a long thread.  I have a LR Classic catalog that houses a collection of family snapshots accumulated over the years.  Part of this catalog used to reside on a NAS device, but a few years back I migrated it all onto my Mac hard drive.  The catalog is organized as a simply YYYY / Month structure.  When I import new images, such as from my annual holiday photo shoot, the images land in 2024/December for example.  However, over the LR Classic catalog display doesn't reflect the folder structure on my hard drive.  Let's start with a simple example - see screen shots attached.  On disk, the 2024 / December folder is in the desired location:  Lawler Family Photo Library / Lawler Family Photos / 2024 / December.  But notice that the LR catalog display shows this structure disconnected from the other YYYY / Month collection (see highlighted line in LR catalog).  If I try to drag the 2024 folde

I've been working on a Lightroom plugin and I'm using LrLogger to output messages to the logfile.  This has been working great, but today suddenly everything written to the logfile is jibberish.  Looks like this:  ㈰㈯⼰〲㔲ㄠ㨳ㄵ㐺‶剔䍁ॅ敂潦敲琠潬摡灇䙸汩⁥佄䕎渺汩ഀ《⼲〲㈯㈰‵ I've tried deleting the logfile, and rebooted my PC but nothing has worked.  Does anyone know how this has happened and how I can fix it? Thanks,Greg

Hi Community,  PLEASE HELP ...I just went to open LR and it promoted me to upgrade the catalogue i wanted to open.So i clicked on "upgrade" as i have done many times before without any drama, and when it opened there is no images in there whatsovever.I took a pic of the upgrade message, before it actully did the upgrade. I tried to open the "previous" version (.zip file), but it just keeps duplicating the files.  Pics attached I recently updated my mac to Sequioa 15.3, LR version is 14.1.1Any help to get all the info back would be gretaly appreciated!!

Hi guys   I've been having trouble with opening DNG files of DJI mini 3 in Lightroom Classic for a while. The Software recognizes only some of them. I'm not experiencing this issue in Photoshop or cloud-based Lightroom, Even though I tested the different SD cards. The firmware of the drone is up to date.  This is the first time in my Lightroom history that I've worked with video files, I was hoping that somebody might be able to help me figure out why I can’t save metadata to any video format. Command + s doesn’t nor does Metadata / Save Metadata to File (which is grayed out). The files were created with Photoshop / Premiere Pro / iOS and is the case with any video format. I would appreciate any advice or guidance on how I might be able to solve this problem. I'm a sports photographer, and have been having an issue with Lightroom Classic hanging as I'm trying to import photos.  My workflow: I import my photos onto the computer through PhotoMechanic. I then cull my photos in PM, select the ones I want to edit, and drag those over to import into Lightroom Classic. Import is set to import from current location, so there is no renaming, moving, etc., it's all on hard drive. For each game I create a new folder in the same library. As the game goes on, the import starts hanging, there will be no progress on the progress bar. Eventually it will work, but sometimes it takes five minutes. I'm using jpgs, not raw.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom. I've deleted the preferences folder. I created a new library. Nothing has worked.  Any suggestions?

Since the update on LrC v14.2 the subtraction in masking does don’t work properly. Issue: It does subtract the mask except with the brush (Subtraction works i.e. with another radial filter). I can add with the brush but - as mentioned - not subtract. Do you experience the same? Any idea how to fix? Thanks for support.
