Lightroom Classic

The new 14.2 auto update to Lightroom Classic from 14.1 keeps freezing erractically, mostly in Develop module, and I can't even close the application from within it.  There is a major  several GB  DRAM leakage as well, evidenced in concurrently running diagnostics.  I did not have this problem with any prior LR version, including 14.1 , and do not have this problem with any other application.  I have to close the application through Windows Task Manager, which results in data loss to the catalogue. My system is Windows 11 Pro, latest build, regularly updated.  32 GB DRAM, 800GB + free on NVMe 1 TB boot drive, LR catalogues are on a 2TB Crucial NVMe drive, processor/GPU is a recent AMD Ryzen 5 8600.  Lightroom is typically running at only a few percent CPU/GPU usage with 17+ GB free DDR5 DRAM.

I did a shoot yesterday and importing my 5dmk3 CR2 files to Lightroom Classic or Lightroom and the files are completely glitched and crazy looking. They import looking normal, and then immediately one by one they take on this crazy corrupt look, as if they are getting corrupted one by one or previews or something. I have tried disabling Smart Previews. They look fine on the camera and in image thumbnails. Here is an example. Using LR Classix v14.2 on my PC, all thumbnails and strip below are red in Library mode.When in Development mode, images are ok but are red in the images strip at the bottom.What's going on ?Thanks

Hi, all! I am a sports photographer and I when I process a large edit - sometimes hundreds of photos - the AI masks continually need to be updated after I have put them on. When I go to export the batch, the masks are gone. I have had to export one or two at a time but that's not sustainable time-wise when I have to turnaround a ton of images. I am up to date on the version. I have uninstalled and reeinstalled to no avail. I NEED a possible solution / fix.  I'm on a 2019 MacbookPro. 2.4 GHz 8-core Intel Core i9, Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5600M, 8 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB, Memory: 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4(I won't pretend to know what that means, but I think it helps if anyone has a suggestion). Thanks in advance!Drew

For the past 6 months or so LR Classic has been crashing on my desktop intermiitently when I crop dng files (which are large, source is a Nikon Z9).  This happens about once per 25 attempts and is not reproducible - i.e. it will crash for an image and then after restarting LR it will work for that same image.I have the very latest drivers for my graphics card, an RTX6030.  I have done updates for LR and Windows. Nothing helps.  All other operations work fine. This is the exact problem I have! except i have 16,000 images lol. When I search for the missing image the search shows up nothing, but I can manually find that image and lightroom is happy to locate it, but NOT the adajcent files.. so this is reallllly tedious!!How did you force Lightroom to update the files??  Thanks  

I'm a day and a half into LrC, oh brother.  Can I import images from my 'G' (spare) drive,  edit them, and then import them In "Destination" into the same folder?  I'm pretty sure "ADD" is already highlighted. I think I clicked "COPY," "DEVELOPE" did one sharpen. The "Import" button on the bottom right never did light up. I did watch 2 videos on this, AND took notes. Just couldn't get "IMPORT" at the bottom right to light up. 

Trying to tether capture with R6MkII (FW v. 1.5.0) and LRC  (v.14.1) in Sequoia, Sonoma and even Catalina (in an old mac) is not possible. The extrange issue is that the camera conects perfectly with a cobra tether USB-C to USB-C   (and even the iphone cable) to the computer, I can charge the camera, I can import pictures, I can set up a folder, I can do pre view, I can chace any value of the camera, I can shoot from the camera or the computer... everythings looks as always. I can even have my EOS 5Ds connected at the same time and works fine...BUT. When I shoot with the R6MkII the picture does not appear in the destiny folder of lightroom.(the same happens in EOS Utility 3 and DPP de Canon both up to date regarding last versions)Has anyone heard of this issue before? do you have a work around it? Is it a camera problem? is it a software bug? Is it that I'm and idiot? I trully don't get it... It has been such an easy thing to do in my workflow for over a decade with ever

Hi, I'm having a problem that the search in the Folders column in Lightroom Classic is not working. It only works on pc but not on mac unfortunately, can you help me to fix it please.

Lightroom Classic v14.2  Win 11 on a PC. Lightroom starting crashing when I select properties in the printing module. The only way to be able to print is by power cycling the PC. After that is prints everytime. The problem happen again whenever I open Lightroom the next time. 

Hello, I usually work with an Apple Macbook Air M1 and a MSI Vector GP66 (Nvidia RTX3080 16GB) , with the Lightroom Classic 14.2 libraries and photos on a fast external drive ssd SanDisk.Windows 11 24H2, MacOs 15.3.1 and Lightroom 14.2 latest updated version.Historically, when I switch from Mac to Windows and open the catalog, images are not stacked in the MacOS version, which is frustrating.There is no possibility to stack the photos again, and I can’t work, because often I take pictures of interiors with different exposures and then HDR with more photos.Can someone please help me? or is there an Adobe Help Center with certified technical assistants to contact?Sorry for my english.Thank you, Stefano (Italy)User since 2023 and I have always encountered this problem. on MacOs no problems, on Windows lack of stacked photos.

This is such an unusual issue, no one at Adobe has ever heard of it and cannot fix it. I have spoken to Adobe  Support reps at least 10 times and they have tried various things to attempt to fix it. It is happening on both my Mac Desktop and Mac LaptopAfter selecting a group of photos to insert the keyword, the type in keyword box  turns white and I cannot see what is being typed in the box although it is still typing the word I tried to type. If I close LR and reopen the box is back to normal for a short time. It will happen immediately if I select a group of photos to add/delete a keyword. Needless to say, it is frustrating to not be able to see what I am typing in the keyword box. This has been happening for over 2 years so it has been occurring through Lightroom and Apple operating system updatesAdobe has deleted LR and re-installed it several times, has changed the graphics processor in Preferences/Performance from Auto to Custom, increased the Camera Raw Cache Settings

Al importar las fotos lightroom reconoce el sitio que le digo siempre que la carpeta ya haya sido creada y tenga imagenes guardadas de antes. Si le digo que cree una carpeta nueva no lo hace. Las guarda haciendo una carpeta con el año vigente.Además tengo una carpeta raiz creada y dentro todas las carpetas. Pues bien, esta carpeta raiz no aparece pero si todas las que estan dentro.Si alguien me puede ayudar lo agradezco. Muchas gracias

I managed to display a table with rows and column using the LrDialogs.presentModalDialog.All the values from the orginal table I converted to a flat property table. propertyTable = LrBinding.makePropertyTable(context)  Before adding the new row I display the table. Recently 95% of my develop history is no longer visible.  I can still "Reset" to original, and get it back with Control Z, but i cannot see the steps that i did.  Some recent images show history, but most of my older ones do not show history.  The sidecars are beside all images in my hard drive.  I updated to Version 14.2 but that did not help.  Also tried the "Reset all preferences and Relaunch" and this did not help either. I just updated my MAC OS and three days later i received a msg saying i have to update my permissions for LRC and give access to my external drives. Is this a scam or hacker, or is it normal? Thanks

I'm trying to Edit a custom Keyword Set.  I have LR Classic 14.2.  I try to edit the nine slots for my custom Keyword set, and appear to accomplish it, but if i switch to another Keyword Set and then return to my Edited Keyword Set, the original nine options are appearing again.  

Hi, I am running a mac mini. M2 1TB nternal memory, 24GB RAM running Sonoma 14.6.1.Since downoading 14.2 my edited photos take bewteen 10-15 seconds to render as sharp when selectd. I also have a delay when editing between moving the sliders and the effect showing on the photo. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks Guy

Hi, I've recently purchased a new MacBook Pro with (M4 Pro chip), and Lightroom cannot detect my Canon 5D Mark IV when I start tethered capture.
