Lightroom Classic

Hi there!With the latest update I can't stack images, because there is no entry in the menu anymore. Already stacked images are unstacked now.Where can I find it? Thanks for your answers!

I've been having issues with Lightroom Classic all month. The latest issue: when I open my catalog all of my photos appear but only about 2/3 of them are edited. Lightroom lost the edits on photos I edited years ago. What's really wierd is it only some of them even if they were part of the same series/edited at the same time. I've tried creating a catalog from backups, creating a new catalog and importing from an existing, I've even tried exporting my catalog and trying it on another computer. Hoping someone out there has the answers before I go about re-editing almost 1,000 photos! Using a Windows 11 self built computer. Plenty of storage space on a brand new hard drive. This definitley doesn't appear to be a hardware issue. Any advice?

Lightroom Classic's AI denoise has a severe memory leak, causing crashes and extreme slow execution / unresponsiveness. The only way to get the memory usage down is to either wait until LRC crashes or try to close the application.How to reproduce:Open the task manager and note the current memory usage.Use AI denoise on a couple of imagesExpected result:The memory usage should go back to about the original usage after the AI denoise is doneActual result:The memory stays at a unhelthy level. The more images that are denoised, the higher the memory usage.

Hi everyone I need a bit of help with Lightroom versions and functionality as I'm a bit lost with it!Hopefully one of you nice people can help me with it. So, I have been running Lightroom 6, which i paid a one of licence for, since about 2012, and have always gotten on fine with it, but I always thought there was a better version with more features around which I thought was Lightroom cc or lightroom classic, are these the same? So this week I have been on the Adobe website and looked at the subscription packages available and signed up for the 20gb photography package on a free trial for 7 days. So now I go on my crative cloud homepage and it shows now i have lightroom classic v6.0, is this not what i already had?When I open it, it just seems to open my lightroom 6? I have copied the information from the system info below Am i being stupid here or am i going mad? Thanks for reading... Lightroom version: 6.14 [ 1149743 ]License: PerpetualLanguag

Ich möchte das obenstehende Paket für meinen neuen IMAC kaufen. Dazu habe ich die Testversion runtergeladen.Nun  sehe ich aber nirgends wie ich die versprochene Applikation (Lightroom classic Desktop) nutzen kann. Ich sehe bloss die normale "kleine" Version. Damit will ich nicht arbeiten. Ist das bei der Kaufversion anders oder wie muss ich das werten?gibt es eine entsprechende Einstellung, es sind ja angeblich beide Versionen möglich. Danke für Hilfe

I am having issues with my GPU and not being able to use masking. It seems to only be an issue when I'm editing a jpeg image not my RAW images. My driver is updated but after that, I'm not sure what to check. My seetings keep getting reset when I navigate through photos. To revert this I have to go to history panel and go one step back. The current step is "multiple settings". There are also some other related to syncing, pasting issues but not so often and consistent as this particular one.

Let me start by saying that I keep Lightroom updated to the latest version, often within a week of release. (Maybe that's a mistake?)   As I develop a photograph, I'm very careful to create snapshots with clear labels.   For example, I always use the auto-generated date/timestamp, and add details like "Cropped" or "Healing" or "Masks."   When the processing is finalized, I add another snapshot labeled with "Final."   Later, when I create proof versions with various ICC profiles, I start with the "Final" version, make my proof edits, and then save new snapshot(s) with the auto-generated name of the ICC profile.   In theory, this works well.   However, sometimes I go back to an older photo and want to click on one of the snapshots, and find that it has lost its prior edits.   For example, I'll hover over the "Final" snapshot, and it's turned into some dull, dark, desaturated version of what "Final" used to be. My current workflow is to sync Photos to LR Mobile.  Then LR Mobile syncs to LR Classic on my desktop.  I have a location where the photos are synced on an external HD,  Pictures 2024>Mobile Uploads>yyyy-mm-dd.   First, the sync doesn't start until I open LR Mobile.  Isn't there a way this can happen without me having to open LR Mobile? I got a message saying my Cloud storage was getting full.  I realized that the photos being synced are also being stored on Cloud storage.  So will my workflow have to change to cleanup the Cloud Storage periodically? Is there a way to bypass the photos being stored on the Cloud?  I also want to confirm that when I delete photos in the Cloud that they will not cause some sync to delete the photos that were stored on my external HD. 

Does Lightroom have new file size restrictions?  I received this message when compositing images.  I have been doing this for years and have never gotten this message.  I'm quite sure this is not the biggest file I have ever composited in Lightroom.  I'm not sure as a practical matter if this is an issue as I'm editing the image in Photoshop and the final file willl be a PSB.  Thanks for any thoughts.

Recently, I had been stitching a lot of 16MP photos into HDR and the resulting HDR photos into panoramas (by using LR Classic Merge in the background - ctrl-shift-H and M, since Adobe Camera Raw doesn't allow background merges, even though without any BATCH processing option, this is still a major PITA).Since there was a lot of the merges queued, my start-up disk almost completely filled up even though I had almost 30GB free on the SSD. I have dedicated SSDs in RAID just for scratch files and working with video, these are much faster than the start-up SSD (256GB) and had ample space. Is there any way to tell LR to use only those for scratch files? Mind you, these were not previews getting generated, the space immediately got reclaimed when I quit LR, these were just temp files or maybe system memory (got 32GB which is not so big nowadays I admit) getting swapped to disk.Still, inside Photoshop I can at least assign scratch disk to specific drives, which does work when merging big panor

hi, very unfortunately I've updated on the weekend LRC from 13.x to 14.0.1. Since the upgrade I'm no longer able to import pictures into the katalog. (pictures already on the harddisk). When selecting a single digit number of pictures it could happen that they get loaded. but if I select a couple of directories with in total ~50 pic the system comes to a hold. the Task picture import is starting but no progress.When I cancel the tasks a dialog box is coming up which says something like "no pictures found to import".When closing LRC I'm no longer able to restart it. When looking to the MS task manager than it is full of Adobe tasks running.My PC is running on MS Windows 10 home - most current versionOnly when rebooting the machine I'm able again to launch LRC. I can work with it. the catalog has been migrated but if I try to import picture the problem happens again.... So it is reproducable unfortunately.Thanks for any good idea how to overcome the problem. I would wish I could go

There is strange behavior regarding RAM usage in Lightroom (Classic) on the Apple M1 and probably also M2 chips.RAM usage is very acceptable (< 4 GB) when I start editing. After some edits on 24 megapixel files (no hdr or panorama) it grows to + 20 GB and macOS starts swapping. After a pause, I do a simple edit (in the basic panel) and it goes further up to 23 GB.I can do edits with RAM usage below 4 GB when LR just started and after a while it needs more than 23 GB do do a simple edit. It appears that Lightroom is not releasing the RAM that is no longer needed (quickly enough). For the moment, I only use GPU for display because it's much worse when GPU is on auto or used for image processing and export. I'm wondering if LR sometimes forgets to release RAM used by the GPU...I'm using version 12.5 on macOS Ventura 13.6 on 2 MacBook Pro M1 Pro's (16 GB and 32 GB). I had the same problems on earlier 12.x versions and on previous macOS versions.

Bonjour,   Lors de l'ouverture de Lightroom Classic, aucun aperçus n'est généré, que ce soit dans mon catalogue existant ou dans le menu d'importation. un simple carré gris s'affiche à la place de mes photos. Celles ci sont pourtant bien présentes car elles s'affichent en allant sur l'onglet "Développement" et je peux alors les retravailler.   Version 14.0 mais cela se produit depuis la version 13.0 au moins et je ne parviens pas à trouver de solution. Config : AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor 4.50 GHz / 32,0 Go de RAM / Chipset graphique RTX3060 12Go dédiés.   Merci pour votre aide !

The Adobe support website says Denoise now it works with TIFFs and JPGs. However, my LR 14.0.1 still says, "Denoise is not currently compatible with this photo format." I've tried several different files of both types. It may or may not be related, but the technology preview Preferences tab has disappeared in this version. M1 MacBook Air, LR graphic processor set to "auto."  Thanks,Russell

Salve, dopo avere dismesso il vecchio pc nel quale era installato LR5 e LR6 , ho acquistato un nuovo pc (win 11) ed ho un problema con la nuova installazione di LR6. LR6 era stato acquistato quale aggiornamento di un precedente LR5.LR5 riesco ad installarlo e ad attivarlo con il proprio numero seriale, nonché ad aggiornarlo all'ultima versione disponibile.Il problema sorge quando tento di installare LR6 con il file che a suo tempo mi sono salvato (Lightroom_6_LS11) con il relativo numero seriale comunicatomi da Adobe.Dopo i vari passaggi di verifica della mia identità il programma si installa, ma non si apre rimandando a continui ed inutili controlli del mio ID.Tutta questa procedura l'ho già ripetuta con successo negli anni passati quando ho avuto la necessità di formattare il pc. 1. LrC  14.0.12. Windows 10 Pro v.22H23. Add masks to image then adjust crop? Hello,Is there a bug with cropped images and masks when exporting from LrC? I ask this because I'm running into this problem.  This is a screen grab from LrC Development workspace. This is the exported image, if I delete the masks it doesn't do this.  

Buenos días,    Desde hace días, no puedo editar fotos en Lightroom Classic para PC.  Cuando las importo desde mi ordenador y me voy a “Revelar”, se queda colgado, no me deja seleccionar ninguna fotografía y finalmente se queda colgado y me sale el siguiente error   No puedo trabajar, y no sé como se puede arreglar, la aplicación está actualizada, según indica en mi cuenta desde hace 18 días, por lo que no parece un tema de actualización.    ¿Alguien más con este problema?, ¿Me podéis ayudar? Hello,Since the recent update, I can not export images without them being color-distorted.  Does anybody know how to fix this?  

Buenas tardes.Me pregunta un compañero si hay forma de recuperar archivos raw y su correspondiente edición borrados desde Lightroom Classic por error. El archivo raw se va a la papelera y basta con restaurarlo y sincronizar la carpeta. Los cambios realizados en el modulo revelar hay alguna forma de recuperarlos o es imposible? Muchas gracias de antemano.

Using a Mac (Monterey -- 12.6):  When I select an image from the Library (or film strip), the image appears in the Print Module, but not PRINT PREVIEW. Then, when I print to either HP or Canon printer, the printer returns a blank page. I tried re-installing Lightroom - same problem.
