I see with the addition of Content Credentials to LR Classic, there is still no way to link one's own website to the list of "Connected Accounts." Isn't your own website the ultimate verification of authenticity - or do we need to rely on big social media? Some people don't have social media accounts. Please consider (again!) adding a custom URL feature to the Connected Accounts. For security concerns, it would seem as simply as adding a custom meta tag to the connected website for identity verification.
The ram start to increase when i use mask and dont decrease unitul i restart lightroom manualy. Its close to immposible to work.
Please change catalog upgrade to rename current catalog with prefix "old" and allow the new catalog to keep the original name. Instead of creating a new catalog and adding a version prefix, ex: changing photography catalog v13 to photography catalog v13-3. Rename current catalog to "photography catalog v13-old and keep original name photography catalog v13.
I have a large library (over 300,000 photos) and my Lightroom catalog folder is over 160GB. This is important for me to backup, but the current process changes the name of the catalog and folders. Once changed, my backup process deletes hundreds of thousands of "old" preview files, and then copies those exact same files back to the target. This is unnecessarily complex, time consuming, and tedious--Lightroom can ensure the catalog name is the same when it completes the upgrade process. Consider those (like myself) that are sending this data offsite for backup--the cost savings, time savings, and bandwidth savings make this change necessary. I am currently performing these steps manually by renaming the catalog file and supporting folders before opening the new Lightroom version, but Lightroom could do that automatically for me without too much extra work. To help the average user, most of the people I teach Lightroom, or help with their workflow don't even know where
Good morning, there is a problem with the automatic detection (loading) of the Nikkor lens profile Z 24-120 mm. This lens is in the list of Nikon lenses supported by the program and it is possible to load the profile of this lens when selected from the list. For other lenses this problem does not occur and profiles are loaded automatically. It is annoying when working with different lenses in one session.
Issue: I have a set of Northern Light photos and want to create a panoramic. This works flawlessly with the untouched photos. However, they have a ton of noise, but when I use the AI noise reduction on them, the panorama creation does not work anymore. It is not able to stitch them together and fails with 3 out of 7 photos. Lightroom Classic Version Number: 13.5.1OS Version Number: Windows 10Steps to reproduce:use night time photos and try to stitch a panoramic, once without and once with AI noise reductionExpected result: It should work the same with both types of imagesActual result: It only works with the original raw
Hi,On mac and classic LR. I went into my [I think only] catalogue and I think I opened a new smart folder by mistake and now I cant get back to original one with ALL my photos in! Help please!
Make tethering work for Nikon cameras WITHOUT using Rosetta mode. Apple Silicon has been out for a long time now and it's crazy we still have to use Rosetta to tether, slowing the app down.
On all my compressed DNG files I am seeing "denoise is not currently compatible with this photo format" Anyone else?
Hi All,Have been using DXO Pure Raw2 as a plugin to LR for sometime. After processing the image, a dng file would always come back to LR in the Develop Module and I would keep working as usual. Now the image imports as usual however, the LR import window now comes up and I have to press either the Done or the Cancel button to get back to the Develop Module. What is happening here and can I fix it as it's annoying and just an extra step for nothing.Using Windows 10Pro.Thanks for your assistanceCheersTony
This post started out as a question about the error message that I get when I try to use DENOISE on my raw files. The error message says: "Denoise is not currently compatible with this photo format". I then attached 2 photos (a CR2 and a DNG) to the post and hit the POST button. The post won't go through because the 2 photos I attached are flagged as non-raw photos (see the error message below). What in the world is going on ??
I merge my DNG photos and Denoise is not available, please can you add it? It would be a major help. Thank you.
After having applied Denoise, I would like the numerical value of the level that was applied to be available somewhere for my own reference. It should either be available in Lightroom when you open the file (show the slider, even if it's greyed out) or it should be in the data for the Enchanced-NR.dng file that is created.
Issue: Let's say I have 5 images that I want to stitch to a panoramic, but first I want to reduce the noise in them. The AI noise reduction created a dng file and creates a stack of the original and the noise reduced file. When I now select those 5 stacks and try to start the panorama module, it starts 6 actions at once: In the first five actions, it tries to stitch each stack alone, creating 5 new extremely distorted images. Only action 6 opens the panorama module. This behaviour is new and I never observed it before. The workaround is to open every stack and select only the noise-reduced images. Then it works as it should. Lightroom Classic version: 13.5.1 OS: Windows 10 How to reproduce: Create stacks of images that you want to stitch to a panorama. Select stacks and open the panorama module. What happens: Some mysterious parallel stichting processes start that are not hepful at all What should happen: Start the panorama module and use only the top photo of each stack.
Snapshots don't record Lens Blur brush refinements. To reproduce on LR 13.5 / Mac OS 14.6.1: 1. Download and open this tiny catalog: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/i8vynvlmbidsyexsackaf/lens-blur-copy-bug.2024.06.29.zip?rlkey=nyedxcdz0vo29067nj0n7d4qx&dl=0 2. Open the photo test1.jpg in Develop. Observe that it has Lens Blur enabled with Blur brush refinements. 3. Create a snapshot. 4. Click Reset. 5. Select the snapshot. Observe that the Blur brush refinements have been lost.
Hi, I just recently purchased a Hasselblad 907x CFV 100c and loving the in-camera crop feature, especially the 65:24 ratio (mimicking X-Pan's). However, it has come to my attention that Lightroom Classic does not automatically apply the in-camera crop to the raw files (3FR format). My understanding is that for Hasselblad X2D, the in-camera crop is automatically applied to the 3FR files in Lightroom. If it is a bug, then can Adobe please fix it? If not, please add the support for in-camera crop for Hasselblad 907X CFV100C files. Thanks, Norman [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. A ‘bug’ is not just another word for any problem with software!]
Recently, a folder titled "LrClassicLogs" has appeared in my Documents folder on my Mac. I use my Documents folder for personal documents only, and would like to store the LrClassicLogs file in a less-obtrusive location. Can a feature be added to LR Classic to allow for a user-selectable location (similar to how LR classic allows for the catalog file)?
hello, all my presets and preset all disappeared after a lighroom redownload on a new computer can anyone help me?
Estou com problema para exportar no LRC por uso de máscaras, alguém saberia me ajudar? Eele da erro desconhecido, mas quando retiro o uso de máscara ele consegue exportar.
I would like the histogram gridlines (present in earlier versions) to be brought back. The current histogram is a step backwards in terms of usability. Gridlines allow us to visualise in a clear manner where the channel values are placed, so that we are able to ensure consistency between photos. (Refer to the image below, ignore the red circles.)
Latest version as of this post. Anecdotal context. I imported about 500 Sony ARW lossless compressed files from a Sony A7RV using Copy as DNG and 1:1 Previews selected. The import and conversion to DNG took maybe 10-15 minutes. The previews took 45 minutes to build, during which time Lightroom became absolutely unusable. I could not even click on cancel without an unresponsive warning from windows. PC Specs:AMD Ryzen 7950X 64GB Ram A 4TB WD Black SSD's dedicated to photos (about 1/4 free) Anecdotes- I previously ran Denoise on a batch of over 350 images, which took about 20 minutes and LrC was still usable for editing.- I have not noticed this issue previously, though I usually don't convert to DNG [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
I was able to use the AI Denoise feature on several pics. Today, I have selected a group of 19 pictures to denoise. It doesn't complete the process with any of them. Did the same process with just one photo. I select a picture, click the denoise option, look at the before and after comparison, select "enhance", and wait. The little wheel spins, indicating the process is running, and after a minute or two, I get a grey screen saying "No photo selected". I've updated my preferences to see if that helped. Use Graphics processor: Auto to Custom checking Use GPU for image processing. Camera Raw Cache Settings Maximum size: 5.0 GM to 9.0 GN I've purged the cache in both Camera Raw Cache Settings and Video Cache settings. Gave Full Disk access to Lightroom. Restarted Lightroom. Enable HDR in Library: Off to On. Restarted My computer. Nothing seems to help. Lightroom Classic version: 13.5.1 [ 202408271704-d15d09cd ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: en-USOpera
I delayed upgrading to CC for a while, and now I find 5.5 catalogues can't be imported, and it's telling me to download LR6, which.... is no longer available for download. Are you telling me that my catalogue along with all edits is now obsolete and no longer importable into Lightroom CC?
after two weeks not using my computer (and thus also LR Classinc), I cannot open the LRC Classic program anymore. (after update 13.5.1.).
