Hello, The 'Edit' menu title in Lightroom Classic 15.0.1 (and in Lightrrom CC 9) is not correctly translated in french ("Modifier"), and in a way that is inconsistent with other softwares (for example Photoshop 2026, but not only) and the standard on macOS. The correct and usual translation is "Édition". Thank you.
I was running Lightroom Classic on my old PC (Windows 10), but I've been having a lot of problems with it. Specifically, when I tried to import a large number of photos at once, it errors out. I was hoping a new PC (Windows 11) would sort it out. Unfortunately, I get pretty much the same problem with my new blazing fast PC. The problem I have now is that I tried starting fresh to see if it was related to the size of my catalog. I didn't realize at the time that in addition to losing my keyword tagging, I would also lose my edits. What is the best migration path now that I have essentially a system on my new and old system? The license is fine, as I will only need the old one long enough to export the catalog. If I need to, it will not be a problem to re-import the new stuff. Should I just import the catalog, and then import the new files in place? Thanks, I'm hoping this will be an easy task. My catalog has roughly 450k
I am not able to import the corresponding JPG file when imorting ORF files taken with the HDR1 or HDR2 option on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark 3 camera. The JPG files are copied from camera to disk (windows), but when starting the import, only ORF files are imported, and I can not see any option to include the JPG files in the import dialog. I checked if the JPG file was stacked with the ORf file, but it was not.
Hi. Since the last update there's a major bug when chaning between photos on develop mode with XMP write enabled. The lag may take 2-4 seconds to change photo or doesn't change at all after an edit or paste edit on the previous photo.I have my catalog on the main SSD and images on external SSD.Currently with a Macbook Pro M4 Pro 24gb
I don't even know how to report this so I'm gonna post a video. When changing photos holding the arrow key, it goes through my entire folder and I can't stop it once it started.I can't reproduce it everytime, but sometimes there's noting I can do to stop it. I comes and goes...
Can you please help me understand how to install LR classic on my laptop? Is it still included in my Lightroom CC subscription? I would like to support both types (Classic's PC hard drive AND cloud) of workflows. The video Lightroom vs. Lightroom Classic was still confusing to me although I do not know when the video was created. I paid for the Lightroom cloud (CC I would guess) monthly subscription. Thank you.
It would be useful to be able to pick a standard 4:3, 3:6 etc ratio for the photo container when you add it in the book module. It would also be very useful if you could tell it to use the same size photo container that you used on a previous photo.
Adding the ability to lock down a container for a photo or text box once you have created it in the book module would make it much easier to work without constantly accidently grabbing the resize handles. I am making a photobook that is a field guide for visiting a wild horse area. The photos and text boxes are fairly small and while trying to click into a box to type I often accidently grab the resize bar, which is time consuming and then I have to resize.
I'm running into an issue using Auto Import with Lightroom Classic. I have a Watch Folder set to Auto-Import photos into my Lightroom Catalog. The intended use is for an assistant to review images with clients while I shoot, with the photos loading into Lightroom in the background, uninterrupted. I use CamRanger 2 to transfer photos from the camera to the Watch Folder on my Mac. This happens flawlessly. HD>Watch Folder Lightroom imports (moves) photos from HD>Watch Folder to HD>Lightroom Photos. The images do load in the background in Lightroom, but a glitch occurs when Lightroom moves them from the Watch Folder to the Lightroom Folder and builds previews. My folder setup is:HD>Lightroom PhotosHD>Lightroom Photos>Subject 1HD>Lightroom Photos>Subject 2Etc. My assistant selects a set of images from the Lightroom Photos folder, creates a new Subject folder (and moves the selected images into the folder). Then, while reviewing in S
Hi, I am working with LRC and do edit RAW pictures with 50 to 60mb per pictures. Doing so, in my opinion, my computer let me wait too long times. I am not working with the latest hardware, but a Intel Core i7-10700 CPU with 32GB RAM seems not to be that worse. Can anyone give me a hint if a upgrade of the RAM could help of only a new machine as AI needs more power? If so, any ideas what minimal requirements you would suggest?txs, Roland
I’d like the option to display flags (Pick/Reject) and star ratings while using Full Screen / Lights Out mode in Lightroom Classic. Right now, pressing F disables the "I" key info overlay, which prevents seeing critical culling information while viewing images distraction-free. Suggested enhancement: Allow the "I" key (or a preference toggle) to show flags and star ratings in Full Screen mode, similar to how it works in Loupe view. This would significantly improve culling and review workflows by combining a clean viewing experience with essential rating visibility.
Hey, I noticed this strange issue affecting sharpness of a photo. Even when I set all the sliders to 0 value in the "Detail" panel, the picture seems sharper when it is toggled off. How can this be if no sharpening is applied through this panel? Usually when nothing is changed in any given panel the toggle symbol (eye) is grayed out, indicating no actions have been taken which is different for the Details panel. Attaching two photos for reference, at 100% zoom. Hope anyone knows where this blur is comming from and how can I get rid of it.Detail panel toggled OnDetail panel toggled Off
Hi everyone, I just bought the new Canon R6 Mark III that I pair with my Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art (using the official Canon EF-RF mount adaptator). The photos look perfect on the R6iii screen : no vignette, no distrosion, good WB, etc. But when I import the CR3 files on Lightroom (v15.0.1), they look very different : there is a HUGE vignette, and the tones are darker/bluer. I can't get rid off the vignetting, this is the most annoying problem. The lens corrections feature detect the right lens/profile, but is useless in both mode Profil/Manual. Even if I push the values to 200, the vignette is still strong. I use Lightroom since 2018 (and this particular lens since 2021) and never encountered something like that. I hope this will be fixed by a simple Lightroom update, as the R6iii is only two weeks old. Thanks for reading, have a nice day ! settings recap :Canon R6 Mark IIISigma 35mm f/1.4 Art EF mountCanon official mount adaptator EF to RFLightroom Class
Installed the newest version today, and found that my LR isn't automatically removing all the dead pixels. In the half of the gallery I edited on the previous version (v 14.xx), it's fine. But everything from the point I installed the new version (15.0.1), I have dead or hot pixels in each photo. Hi everyone,I’ve recently run into an issue with photos exported from Lightroom Classic. The skies in the images are getting ruined, making the photos unusable. I use Lightroom constantly, and I need the photos for my work.Do you have any suggestions for fixing this?Lightroom Classic version: 15.0.1Operating system: Windows 11I’m attaching two example photos so you can see the problem. Thank you so much for your help!
I have updated to Lightroom 15.0 from the last version (I am on subscription) and all the edit history has gone...On the history bar it says "Paste setttings" and nothing under the history for all my photosI cannot even see the import to go back to it.Lr obviously has them - hence "Paste", but no steps, but a couple of Exports There were no messages when it updated.I restored an old version and updated again - the same result, including no messages. I want my history or at least to go back to the Import
Using windows 11 and lightroom classic 15.0.1 release. Many of my dialog selection boxes look like the below so I can't read many of the rows and the dialog boxes don't have drop and drag expansion (and changing windows font size makes no change):
In the last ten days or so LR Classic on my 2020 Intel iMac crashes consistently when I work with masks, especially intersecting masks. Screen freezes with the spinning rainbow ball. Can't access any other programs and after 30 seconds the spinning graphic stops and system crashes. When iMac restarts screen brightness is too high and I have to recalibrate with my Spyder unit. Research online suggested I turn off the graphics processor in LR preferences. I did this and LR has not crashed once since. But program operation is less responsive, slower. Adjustments take two seconds to update onscreen. They were very fast previously. Radeon refers me to Apple and Adobe to address the issue. My iMac uses AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8GB. Did they remove "EYE" & "Eye Sclera" from the masking options under people on LRC in this last update?? I use it in almost every session
I have lost the toolbar in the upper right top screen in Lightroon Classic V 15.0.1 using Windows 11.
Recently I have noticed that in Lightroom Preferences/Performance I have the message "Graphics Processor Acceleration is not supported by your system" showing. My graphics card is the GeForce GTX1650 with 4Gig RAM and I have the latest NVIDIA Studio Drivers installed this evening along with DirectX12. I have looked for a solution but I now assume that the card is no longer compatible with the latest LR version, and it's time for an upgrade. Am I correct?? I don't seem to have any issues with the latest Photoshop version. Both are running on Windows11. Thanks in advance. Martin
