auto AI masking makes my app crashe
I am working on a Hyperlapse in Lightroom Mobile on my iPad Pro and I have my main photo edited how I would like it to look so when I copied the settings and then pasted them to the next photo, the one with the pasted settings doesn't look as vibrant as the "main" photo. I made sure to select all the boxes on the settings page that I wanted to be pasted onto the next image or images and it just doesn't look like the original at all. What would be causing this to happen? I will say at first I noticed I everything checked except masking. So I checked that box then attempted another copy and paste thinking the masking being selected this time would fix that and it didn't really change anything. I saw very little difference. Thoughts?
Hallo! Hello,I am experiencing a persistent and reproducible problem when trying to export or convert photos from my Lightroom cloud library, and I would appreciate your help investigating it.Summary of the issueWhen I select a large batch of photos (several hundred to several thousand) and run "Export Originals," the process regularly stalls partway through — sometimes after only a few dozen images, sometimes after several hundred. The progress indicator simply stops advancing, with no error message and no further disk or network activity after a short time. The problem is specific to JPEG-sourced images. RAW files export without any issues, both with and without GPU acceleration enabled. It is not limited to a handful of individual files — it recurs across entire series of JPEGs (in my case, digitized scans from negatives and slides, all processed the same way), which rules out isolated file corruption as the cause.I have also tried "Render to DNG" as a workaround, since DNG output does not
After updating the app, when I’m trying to straighten my photos while in the cropping section, I can’t get smaller angles than 0.54. If I need it to be plus or minus 0.52, I’m not able to straighten my photo. This tool snapping to 0 can’t be intended behavior, correct?
When I go to crop an image in Lightroom, the default zoom level of ‘Fit’ appears broken.Every other options works as expected. Reclicking on ‘Fit’ does not resolve issue, nor does selecting a different option and switching back to fit. It’s been an issue for a couple months, the only thing that fixes it is going back to older versions of the software. Please adviseM4 Pro, Lightoom 9.3+
I'm using Lightroom (the mobile version) on my M1 Pro MacBook Pro, but recently it suddenly was signed out by itself. Then I tried to resign in by using my Apple Account, and it would lead to the link that helps you sign in by your Apple Account but always said error "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable". I have restarted my Mac many times, redownloaded Lightroom and then resignin but nothing happened.
I recently took some photos and when I got home I went to download my photos via Bluetooth from my canon r6 ll and it came up with an error said it couldn’t connect with Lightroom. I have not had issues with this in the past. I will attach the error message. Any suggestions.
I’m trying to open the Lightroom desktop app on a 2021 Macbook Pro. It looks as if the app starts to open, but then crashes immediately. I’ve tried restarting my laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling lightroom, and signing out/signing back into the Adobe Creative Cloud app. I’m still able to access other Adobe products on the laptop, it’s just Lightroom itself that’s unable to open. I can’t provide any screenshots, since the app itself won’t open. It’s not Lightroom Classic, but the new Lightroom app.
When importing pictures exported from Apple Photos, in some cases the longitude values have a sign error where East changes to West. Photos which were captured in Washington are shifted to an obscure rice field in China. I am uploading an example photo which shows this behavior. The longitude of the actual location captured with my iPhone was 122° 48' 12.072" W. Upon uploading this file into Lr, the longitude changes to 122° 48' 12.072" E. West changed to East. Is this a bug?
After the update, during a cropping process there will be a red vertical and horisontal line forcing the image to be centered. We dont want to be forced to crop in the center, we want to crop the image freely like before. Thanks
I use LR Desktop/Cloud purely as a place to showcase photos that have already been populated with metadata and edited in Classic. It would be extremely desirable if my painstakingly filled-in location metadata were not automatically replaced. Particularly since a) the language of the entry is changed: my place named in Germany are filled in in German, etc, and in the cloud they are all converted to English, the language in which I use the program and b) Desktop/Cloud changes all of the 3rd level locations in Germany, France, Italy and Spain (could be more, I’m not sure) from the “State” to the “Region”. Kind of like changing “California” to “Stanislaus County”. Not desired behavior.
Hi, for the past few days I've been having a very annoying problem with the image.canon service connecting to the Lightroom cloud service to send photos from image.canon directly to Lightroom... Now it's impossible to connect to the Adobe server... What on earth is going on?I've attached a screenshot of the problem... I understand it's more of an Adobe issue than a Canon one... Please help.
I'm using Lightroom Desktop (Cloud version) 9.4.1 on Windows 10.I'm having an issue where only some videos export incorrectly. The exported MP4 ends up being only 0–3 seconds long, even though the original video is much longer. Here's what I've verified: The affected videos play completely inside Lightroom Desktop. The same videos export correctly from Lightroom Web. Other videos from the same camera export normally in Lightroom Desktop. All videos were recorded with a Nikon D3400 (MP4). Clearing the Lightroom cache did not fix the issue. Duplicating the video in Lightroom and exporting the duplicate also fails. The videos don't have any special edits or trimming applied. Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution? Is this a known bug in Lightroom Desktop for Windows?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
When I right click on a Local FolderIt also happens when I click on the arrow next to Copy Photos to Cloud The only answer is to close LR and restart.I have tried reinstalling LR.
After updating to the newest Lightroom Mobile version, the Denoise feature does not work. Clicking the box does nothing or it will “Apply Denoise”, load, and then no changes have been made. Incredibly frustrating thing to happen after a new update. Camera Raw has also been updated and various routes of troubleshooting have been done. Nothing has worked or fixed this issue.
Prior to version 9.4, if you pressed T while selecting an image that was already in the target album, a warning prompt would appear to confirm you want to remove the image from the target album if you hadn't previously marked the "Remove photo from album" prompt as "Don't show again". As of version 9.4, removing a photo from an album via T is treated differently from other methods of removing photos, and this prompt isn't shown. This is a very negative change. On slower systems (or whenever Lightroom is mysteriously performing worse than it should on all my very diverse systems despite Adobe not being able to identify any issues) the toast notification that pops up when pressing T, as well as the count of photos on the album list were both so laggy that this warning prompt was the only safety net I could rely on when quickly adding photos to a target album if I had to press T multiple times because I wasn't sure if it registered the first time. Furthermore, as you can't quickly see if
I haven't tested all the variables here so I'll just give the exact steps that allow me to reproduce the issue, but some things (like specifically using fast user switching) may not be necessary.Set up two user accounts Enable Touch ID on both accounts, using different fingers Make sure "Use Touch ID for fast user switching" is enabled on both accounts Make sure both accounts have been logged in to since last booting the system Launch Lightroom on either account Set the Lightroom window to fullscreen (🌐F / ⌃⌘F) Open any photo Open the edit panel and ensure the histogram is enabled (⌘0) Using fast user switching, switch to the other active user account Using fast user switching, switch back to the account with Lightroom openUpon switching back, the Lightroom window will briefly reset its positioning, and in the process, position the histogram too high, causing the top section of it to be cut off:
How do I get my stacks back?
Since updating to Lightroom Desktop 9.4.1 on macOS, the "Choose" button for Graphic Watermark always opens the last photo export folder instead of remembering the last folder used for watermark PNG files. Even after selecting a logo from a different folder, clicking "Choose" again still opens the last export folder. Resetting Lightroom preferences does not resolve the issue.
When I paste GPS data into Lightroom in the info panel where it says GPS, it doesn't save. I've done this before without any problem in the previous version of Lightroom. Updated to version 9.4 now it doesn't work. Is this a bug? Does anyone know?
