Lightroom (Cloud-based) should have a comparison view between the 2 history versions of a picture like LrC. It'd be helpful for editors to have a view of those side to side instead of pressing the "Show original" button back and forth. Thank you
Hello, I have a suggestion, why don't you add author search to lightroom mobile? People will be able to find their favorite authors through Instagram and subscribe to Lightroom Mobile, which has contributed to the growth of the Lightroom community, this could lead to a social network through creativity
The iOS app needs a UI lift. It looks like an old app with old icons, sizes, and design. It just doesn't feel modern or that it belongs to iOS. Thank you.
Currently when you try to migrate from LRC to LR everything gets uploaded to the cloud. I want to be able to CONVERT my edits from a catalog to LR edits (XMP or another solution) and keep it Local. Right now I need to Migrate, and then get it off the cloud after it has finished uploading by using the new Archive Locally feature. This is half a solution. I really want to switch becuase I understand that at some point the two apps will merge, and LR works great, but you need to make my life easier doing that. Thank you. macOS 15.2 Lightroom 8.1
Dear Adobe Team, While using Lightroom Cloud, I find the current zoom functionality unintuitive and inefficient, particularly when performing detailed edits like with the Remove Tool. Currently: Holding Spacebar activates the Hand Tool for dragging the image, but the mouse scroll wheel only scrolls up and down. To zoom in, I must hold Ctrl/Command, which turns the cursor into a magnifier, requiring me to select an area to zoom. This process is unnecessarily cumbersome. I suggest: Allowing the mouse scroll wheel to control zoom in/out while the Hand Tool (Spacebar) is active. This way, users can seamlessly drag the image and zoom without switching tools or selecting areas. This change would greatly improve workflow efficiency and align with standard user expectations for intuitive navigation. Thank you for considering this improvement! Best regards,A loyal Lightroom user
It would be great if you could finally add batch editing (i.e. the abililty to copy/paste settings from one photo to a group of photos) to Lightroom Web.
Please, PLEASE add a navigation filmstrip to the android version of lightroom. Lightroom for Ipad has the filmstrip navigation at the bottom and it makes all the difference , and brings it closer to working on a desktop version of lightroom. This is one frustrating aspect of using lightroom on flagship android tablets.
When editing cloud images, you can tap G to cycle between traditional Square Grid and Photo Grid (also called Mosaic view in some apps). Over the past few years of working in LR Cloud, I've come to greatly prefer the Photo Grid / Mosaic view. But now that local storage is available, I'm starting work that way a bit more. But weirdly, when editing local storage, only the traditional Square Grid is available - the new Photo Grid / Mosaic view is not. I can't tell whether this is a bug or a feature, but it sure feels like a bug. Please bring Photo Grid / Mosaic view to local editing so that it's consistent with cloud editing mode.
I'd like to see an option for only having one folder open / expanded at a time in the Albums panel. Not the Shared one. And only Cloud, not Local. Currently I end up with many folders open at the same time and can cause a bunch of scrolling. I think it should only be the highest level folders to keep things simple. This would be similar to the Single Panel Mode being checked on for the Edit panel sections on the right. Or whatever it was called in classic. View > Edit Panels > Single Panel Mode Thanks Tim
Please unify the ability to place a frame with that of placing a logo so that both are possible at the same time.
The only thing I'm missing in Lightroom CC is opening photos as layers in photoshopI want to get in Lightroom CC button which I could choose "Open as layers" in photoshop. I really don't like Lightroom Classic, and think CC version is much better, but it's not completely finished. At this moment this's most missing function for me.
When migrating from LrC to Lr, LrC stores assets temporarily in the system folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe which might have limited space. It would be much nicer to have the location as a parameter when running / starting the migration to avoid blocking issues due to local disk size.
Lightroom should show upload and downlaod speeds incl. estimated time to finish the sync job and not just the number of pending assets. This would help in troubleshooting and planning of big sync jobs.
Just my forlorn (?) plea to bring the Long Exposure mode "back" to the Lightroom camera as a full feature. I loved it and it worked beautifully for me on my iPhone. I know there's a way to use the Live mode in the native iPhone camera but I want the flexibility of the Lightroom version.
Muchas gracias
There is no way to batch or bulk rotate images on Lightroom Mobile on iPad?! If I rotate an image under the crop menu and copy and paste these settings, it doesn't paste the rotation. There is also no way to select images from the library and then rotate them across multiples (like in Classic). I'm a pro and use Lr Mobile on iPad to edit the majority of my photos as on a whole it's much quicker, but this massively slows down my workflow. The only way to currently rotate an image is to do it one by one which is extremely cumbersome. Please could you implement two updates: 1. Add rotation to the copy & pastable settings under the crop menu 2. Add the ability to batch rotate images from the library using the select function (add rotation to the settings in the bottom menu bar alongside "ADD TO / COPY / PASTE / SHARE / DELETE" I'm pretty baffled these functions aren't part of the software already, is this something I've missed? Hopefully someone
I would like to see the presets that I have marked as favourite, as their own section in lightroom mobile. It's a feature already present in the desktop version.
The filtering options within mobile are poor. Please expand them to include at the absolute least filtering by all file types, not "kinds". photogrsohers shooting raw + jpg may want to delete all jpg, and that goes for HEIF too. Why is there a limit of raw, photos, videos and not other file types? Please add this, it's an important part of workflow.
Hello!I am new to Lightroom. When I export my photos, I can only choose full, small, custom. Is there any way to make different sizes to choose from? It will be a timesaver. Thanks!Heiko
1)May I request to include in the MASK the suntract background. Its good that there is subtract subject when we want the radial mask to affect the bacground only. But there is no subtract background when we want the radial mask to affect the subject only. Many thanks. 2) pls also include the lips, eye sclera, eyebrow, iris and pupil in the person mask option. 3) the point color is very very important
For the rule sets please allow for excluding specific folders
I love using the "actions" wizard on my tablet for quick and useful filter edits to subject or background. The masking on the desktop is not so convenient. I'd love the same feature to be available on desktop!
Samsung Notes has a feature where you can edit your note on your tablet, using your phone for access to tools. This allows you to edit your notes full-screen on the tablet, and refer to your phone next to it for changing tools. I'm sure you see where this is going. I edit in LR on my tablet, and find that if you could enter a mode on your phone which gives access to certain tools for the image being edited on the tablet, it helps to declutter the screen while giving a more efficient and tactile workflow. And for those who this feature might not work for; don't use it. Lol.
I want to edit photos that i have in my Photos app using LR and then Save it again in Photos app overwriting the original one. iOS gives this option but LR doesn't take advantage of it. Don't ask me why I want to do that or offer alternatives. Many photo editing apps (like snapseed) already do just that for many years. Pretty please? (screenshot from the export menu of Snapseed.)
Hi.I just find out a problem (as i thought) in Lightroom for mobile for ios (but i think is the same for android too). In the topik i open about it it came out that this in not a bug but it is as it is by design. I am talking about enabling the new editor from early access. I notice that with the new editor when I am in portrait mode it's all fine but when I turn the phone in landscape mode the edit bar disappears and the only think you can see in the screen is the picture itself. So by design the only way that you can edit a photo is on portrait mode and not in landscape mode. So i really found usefull to have the ability to edit a photo in both portrait and lanscape mode and i need your Vote!!! Thanks a lot
