Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

When I try to edit photos in lightroom I get this bug where all the colors turn blue, it only happens in the app, when I swipe out of the app on the same page it reverts the colors.

I think the feature to edit certain faces would be great!!

When I reinistalled Creative cloud I didn't realize that I downloaded a new version of LR v7.  The interface is very different from the versions I was using.  On the left pane, I don't see collections or albums as I did previously - on the tab labeled Local Computer.  When I click on the Cloud tab on the left panel, only some of the albums are listed.  There are no books listed there.   I’d be grateful for any advice on how to use this version (this topic isn't covered on the online tutorials that I looked at)..  Dan

Hello everyone - first time posting and very much crossing my fingers that someone will be able to help ...and that I will be able to give you the proper information to help me!I have received raw CR3 files from a friend's Canon R5 from a wedding (no corresponding .jpgs). I shot images that same day with a Nikon Z50 (all imported in raw+jpg) . I placed my image choices from my Z50 in Collections in Lightroom Classic, that i then synched to the Cloud and shared a public album link to the couple who have happily made comments and likes on their choices - no problems. I've now made a collection/synched shared album with my friend's CR3s, and everything looks fine in Lightroom Classic, but when i look at the resulting synched album all the pictures that i did not myself  crop or straighten for style are squished like they are placed into the wrong ratio. This might be a bug, or it might be my own ineptitude. New to lightroom and tablets, and I've never used a stylus with anything until now. So this might seem braindead simple to some people, please help me understand if you do. I know that I can use one finger to adjust the sliders, and use another finger to tap and hold while adjusting to show the clipping. What IS NOT working for me however, is using the s pen to adjust and tapping with a finger to see the clipping. This seems really silly to me that it 'can't mix pen with finger' (if that's what's happening here). I feel like I can get the sliders to the exact number I want, easier with the pen then with my WIDE BODY fingers and thumbs lol. It feels really weird for me to use 2 fingers to adjust with clipping visible, and at least in my brain, it would make more sense with the pen, I keep my only finger im using still, while sliding the pen, easy peasy. This question relates to LR desktop and NOT LR Classic on a Mac.On an iPad it is very easy to import photos from the 'device'.But I just can't find a way to import photos from the the photos app on the mac into LR! The 'add photos' function goes to the directory on a Mac. The Photos app is not found there. On the mac I exclusively use LR Desktop and not the Classic version.  Any help would be gratefully received. ThanksKen

I have a problem with syncing.According to my account, I was already using 4.6GB out of 20GB. Apparently, there is an action going on where 524 files would be synced. However, there is no progress in that sync, the counter is stuck.However, I have no files in my creative cloud. What is going on here and how can I fix it?

Hello everyone, Lightroom (cloud version) is crashing on starting up, right after splash screen, every time.There is no opportunity to check or change preferences, as some have suggested. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times(from Creative Cloud app), with restarts,  but it doesn't help.Thanks in advance for any suggestions. 🙏 details:Lightroom version 7.0Mac OS: Sonoma 14.1.1Graphics: Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MBMemory: 16GB  

So for the past few years I've exclusively edited from my iPad Pro and loved it, made editing a breeze. It took a while to get used to the cloud based version because I started out with LrC. I used to import all photos through Lightroom onto my external hard drive so that I could not store them locally to save processing speed for my computer. We'll, since then I've not edited any photos on my Mac or MacBook and am trying to go back to using my Mac so I can have more editing power and full access to Lr and Ps. But the programs seem different now. When I go to import, there's an option for "cloud" and "local" & "sd card". When I go to click "local" it populates my external hard drive then when I click on it, it tells me "the folder " Achuff 5tb" cannot be opened because you don't have the permission to see its contents". Can anyone help? 

Hi,Since the recent software update to 6.3, the new AI DeNoise is taking 5-10 mins per photo on my (new mid-range) laptop which is simply not usable for me on a day to day basis. I've tried using the sliders for the "old" manual DeNoise, but these don't seem to be doing anything. I've read about the speed of the AI DeNoise on some PCs, but is anyone having a similar issue regarding the "old" Manual DeNoise sliders?Thanks a lot!Rich

I just got a new iPad 12.9 with the intention to make the switch from desktop to mobile only. Lightroom in general is a breeze to use and I enjoy how quick and intuitive everything works.What's strange, however, is that images get pixelated/blurry as soon as you start dragging some of the sliders during editing – and the moment you let go of the slider the photo jumps back to full resolution.It's particularly noticeable for e.g. the color mixer or clarity and texture. Especially for something like the latter (clarity and texture) this is quite a problem as it makes comparing different values and judging the effect of the changes right away pretty challenging (as clarity and texture are impossible to judge when the image is pixelated) One could say that this is a perfomance issue. And I wouldn't be surprised given the size of the RAWs from my Alpha 7r. However, the same RAWs can be edited without any of the hiccups described above on my Pixel 6 (Android 12) and my 2016 MacBook

Acoording to Adobe site https://helpx.adobe.com/at/lightroom-cc/kb/faq-install-presets-profiles.html it states that "Die Presets und Profile, die du in Lightroom Desktop installiert hast, werden automatisch mit Lightroom auf Mobilgeräten synchronisiert. " meaning profiles! and not only presets get synched automaticlly but this is not the case as I do have on LrClassic the "Adobe standard" profile for Nikon z6 version I but on iOS LRCC I do have only the "Adobe Standard v2" profile which causes then issues with the ton curve.  So how to copy the "Adobe standard" version to LrCC? Only workaround I would see is to set the pictures I have shooten with z6 to "Adobe standard V2" and then to reset the Ton settings but NOT of course to a fixed value (double click on the ton does that magic) . How could this be done ?  I

Hi, I bought this app to be able to edit pictures taken on my Canon Camera and then save or move them into my gallery on my iPhone 13 Pro. I am not a professional photographer. This is a hobby only. I also can't figure out how to upload the pictures to IG or FB. I downloaded the Creative Adobe Cloud. Still can't figure it out. Is this even possible? 

When I try to import photos from the micro SD card of the drone to my iPad Pro, I get the message there are no photos.  On my iMac using Lightroom Classic, I can "include subfolders" and the photos are found.  Is there some setting I haven't found that will allow LR on the ipad to find the photos?

I have been looking for over an hour for this. Seems like it should be simple. In LR CC, I have created an album from a family trip. I added photos to that album. I went thru and starred selected pics as the best ones (3 Stars and above). How can I just share those selected photos online? When I create a link to share the album online, it shares all of the photos in the album. Do I have to create a 2nd album named "Trip Best"? That seems redundant. Please help. TY.

I am on the Lightroom CC-only plan at $9.99/month including 1TB of cloud storage, and have been a loyal and dutiful customer from when Lightroom CC was split off from Lightroom Classic. What sold me at the time was the idea that your entire library of photographs could be saved to the cloud, and would accessible from anywhere as though you were on your main computer. To this end, I imported the entirety of my previous libraries and synced it up to the cloud. Even at a couple hundred gigabytes, there were numerous synchronization issues that I waited patiently for Adobe to solve. Eventually they got it right, and the synchronization seems to be relatively smooth now. By steadily importing my pictures over the last few years, I'm now coming up to the 1TB limit. When I click the "upgrade" button, all I seem to get are options to add Photoshop and other Creative Cloud apps, not to add storage. Tried using HDR for the first time in LR Version 7.0.  If I toggle HDR, it really improves some high exposure clouds.  Why can't I output the image with HDR toggled on.  Image reverts back to non-HDR (SDR ?) upon export.   Help please !!  Using on a Mac with OS Sonoma 14.1.1. in case it matters.

I dunno what's wrong with you people. I purchased a monthly subscription for my Adobe Lighroom thru my Apple account using i-tunes. It was June 6th, and I'm supposed to be covered for 1 month of use right?! yes! because it was a monthly subscription. Why the heck can't I access my Lightroom App now? and its asking me to start a 7 Day trial? you gotta be kidding me! my payment for automatic renewal and debit to my mastercard is not due until July 6th 2020. If this is how you play with it Adobe, I will be cancelling my account for sure. I was even planning to purchase Adobe Photoshop 2020 and downloaded a trial version. Now, I'm having a nice second thought about that $299 purchase that won't be happening. Hi guys,I am using iPhone 14 Pro and Lightroom mobile on my phone, and when I take photos in RAW (on Panasonic camera) and I try to open it transfer them to, iPhone I can't see those images, is there a way I can open those images on my phone.... I don't use Lightroom on my laptop as that is really really really old... any help is appropriate..

I think I have a syncing problem. Some photos show the message waiting for settings (lightroom for mac) from "desktop xyz", but "desktop xyz" (where lightroom classic is installed, lcr for windows) tells me to be synced. Both lightroom and lightroom web seem to endlessly search for edits. I don't know what to do

So sad all the hardwork is gone after clear all login device 🥲  that is my face right now..is there something should i do to get it back? . If none i think its time to move on and start to  zero 🥰 

My issue is i have sharp image in my desktop taken sd but from desktop when i upload in lighroom to edit the quality is not same. How can I solve this problem?

I'm thinking of buying a Google Pixel 8 phone, but Adobe raw camera support is a must-have for me. I'm seeing all over the Internet that the Pixel 8 / Pixel 8 Pro are now supported, but if I go to the UK supported cameras listing they are not included. Go to the US site, and they are there.
