Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hello, community. I am currently having trouble previewing NEF files when importing them into Lightroom. Only the jpg files can be previewed. What could be the issue? Environment:iPadOS: 17.0.3Lightroom for iPad: 9.0.0.

Halloi've start a photography plan 1 TB subscription because i wanted to have all my pictures synch between my classic LR, the LR on my phone and at the need on any notebook's browser.I divided my  700gb catalogue in many collections (one for every year) and synched it with the cloud.What i didn't expect is that i'm still at 0 kb used.So this kind of synch doesn't affect the cloud space? am i synching raw or just small previews? Did i do something wrong? I bought the 1TB instead of 20GB because i thought it was needed for my catalogue.Thanks for explaining me

When I save and export my edited videos they are in the original form when I open in my photos, so they are edited in Lightroom and not on my phone. Have no idea how to fix this! HELP! 

Greetings, I have 380 image files I've used for catalog layouts over the past 15 years. Since I was making catalogs, I cropped all the images as closely as possible, not knowing that I would need them to be 1:1 aspect ratio for my website. I use a white background on my site and in my photos. What I'd like to do is export the photos from Lightroom so they are 2048x2048 pixels, with Lightroom simply adding white to the added pixel spaces. For example, if a current image is 2048x1024, Lightroom would add 1024 pixels total of white space at the top and bottom of the image to make it 2048x2048.  Any way to do this in bulk?  I tried it using an Adobe tutorial, but the tutorial says, "Be sure to check "Do not enlarge" on the export file options", but that "Do not enlarge" checkbox does not exist on the current Lightroom.  So my 2048x1024 image came out as 4096x2048 when I set the export size to 2048x2048.  Can anyone help me with this?  I'd rather not have to ex

When using the radial gradient option in Lightroom for Mobile's masking tool (on iOS), the actual masked area doesn't match what's indicated as being selected. This is best observed when reducing the feathering to 0. Is this a known issue?

Hi! So whenever i import a photo right before I click on it in the app it looks fine and unedited. Then I open it up to add my edits and before I can do anything it tries to edit it for me. How do I stop "automatic editing"? I use the app on my iPhone 13.

I use an M1 Mac Studio running Ventura 13.5.I understand how to sync photos between LRClassic and LRMobile. But I also want to include my videos in LRM so that they can also be viewed remotely on line. I use a sync folder to collect photos and videos from my iPhone and iPad. These appear OK in LRC and LRM. I then drag them into my custom folder structure within LRC for editing and allocating photos and videos into appropriate collections, so that they are then removed from the sync folder.I realise that when I then sync a LRC collection to LRM, only photos are synced. I therefore manually drag the corresponding videos into the various collections already synced into LRM.However, then LRM tries to sync some but not all of the videos back into LRC, creating duplicates because LRM has renamed the videos. In fact LRM seems to be scattering video copies even back into my original library folders as well. What’s going on here?It would be SO much easier if LRC would simply sync photos AN

I am unable to add pictures to my LR library.  The File/Add Photos is grayed out.  This was never an issue for rme in prior versions. I found a discussion on this issue from 2019 and questions were raised about licenses.  I have a creative cloud all apps license, and I'm running Version 7.    Thanks in advancen for your help.   -Dan

Ola! Gostaria de saber se o Lightroom para Android substitui plenamente o Lightroom CC. Gostaria de usar o APP no meu tablet Android para gerenciar meu catálogo e fazer as edições de fotos, mas sem ter o Lightroom no Desktop. Isso é possível?  Ou o APP para Android é um complemento para a versão desktop?

Frustration alert! I edit in LR Classic then create a collection from folder and synch it with LR and LR Mobile. I have about 4 photos from last week that appear to refuse to synch. Everything else shows the edited finished versions from same day apart from the ones in question. I can even see a different version of the image in the camera roll at the bottom of Lightroom than I can see in the main window view. Camera roll has the edited version but the main window shows the unedited RAW image - I dont even know if Im making sense anymore. Why doesnt everything just synch up across the whole cloud etc Two files attached - once showing Classic which is showing exactly how the finished NEF file is.  The other is the Lightroom version which shows unedited in main window, edited on camera roll though still not the finished edit 

Bei der neuen Lightroom Version funktioniert die Maskierung mit dem „Pinsel“ nicht mehr. Alles andere klappt mit der Maske: z.B. radialer und linearer Verlauf, auch Farbbereich usw.

I find that each new update for the apple app is leaving me more frustrated. I hate that browsing my edits is now separated by date. And if you hit it twice it sends you all the way to the bottom. Now it looks like there was an update and now it defaults only the first two rows to be visible and you have to click on an arrow to drop down the additional photos.  is there any way to get rid of that function? I just want to be able to browse through all my edits as one continuous feed. I'd really like more options to browse and sort. One that gets rid of dates, doesn't keep jumping me down to the bottom of 2000 photos, and goes faster.

Hey all,suddenly my lightroom on the web shows all images with their file-name on them in the left bottom corner. That might be handy for some, but for me it really ruins how it looks in the galleries...I think, I tried everything but can't seem to find a way back to no file-names on my images.I really hope someone here had this problem before and found a solution.Thanks in advance,Laura

When I shoot pictures using the ligthroom mobile camera in Auto or Pro modes, the pictures are saved only if JPEG is selected. As soon as I switch to DNG, the pictures are not saved.The pictures are saved in DNG if shooting in HDR mode though, so not sure what is the issue to save DNG pictures in Auto or Pro modes. My phone is a Samsung Note20 Ultra, android 13, lightroom mobile app version 9.00 Thanks  

I see that when I share an album from Lightroom, there is a hamburger menu in the upper left, that has just that single album. Is there a way to add additional albums? In other words share a set of albums together, with a single URL, where the user can navigate between the albums in the set. Is a "Gallery" a set of shared albums? Or just another name for one album? Or something else? On Lightroom Web, in the upper right, I see the share button, which creates a single shared album. And under the ellipsis menu, I see "Share in Gallery", but when I select that, I get a prompt to select best photos, then nothing. I see this article, but it does not match the UI I see, and it is not clear what it is supposed to be doing. 

 Current MacOS version is Sonoma. Lightroom is version 7.0. I am attempting to migrate my Apple Photos library to Lightroom (cloud version). All goes well until it hits the putting photos in albums stage. It gets stuck, the system says it is out of memory, and eventually crashes.  I have noticed that through the migration process the process VTDecoderXPCService consumes more and more system ram as the process moves forward. Once the system hits full ram (16gb in my case) + 40gb of swap it crashes the system.  I did try manually killing that process and letting it restart in an attempt to keep ram usage under control, but when I kill it the ram usage just moves over to a process called kernal_task and VTDecoderXPCService just starts growing again.  If I try to resume the migration in Lightroom after the crash it gets stuck at 30% (Marking catalog as migrated). I've let it sit at this step overnight and there is no progress. I have also tried
