Adobe Cloud killed my workflow

You guys completely killed my workflow with your Adobe cloud. I don't need at all to sync all pictures I add to Lightroom, because many of them I don't need at all. I add, I choose, I process, I share, I process them and use my OneDrive to share. I don't need them to be at your Adobe Cloud at all.Recently I started Express to create Reels and didn't have enough space at Adobe Cloud and needed to clean it. I removed everything with your support guy and it removed all I had added to my Lightroom on my MacBook, which used my hard disk space to store.Previously when I paused syncing, it was popping up in Lightroom all the time reminding me about that pause. I couldn't even do my pictures with that pop-up.I'm completely frustrated with this BS.Now I don't want to even touch Lightroom again to start everything over and.I have a ticket opened and one of the comments was to ask your developers to do something with that. Now I see my ticket will be closed in 3 days.Means "deal wi

Sort order change to Modified Date by itself

Hi, Is this a bug or by design? Lightroom version 8.5.1 on Galaxy S22+, Android 13, UI 5.1 When browsing pictures imported into Lightroom, I find it highly annoying when the sort order frequently reverts back to Modified Date regardless of what sort order I want to work in. You go wonder "Where the h**l did my shot disappear? Oh yes, it was just the the sort option that messed up the order again!". This seem to happen at least when new shots are added to Lightroom from the Gallery. I can see the need to sort by Date Modified, but please, let us use the selected sort order until we decide to change it. For me it would be Capture Date almost all the time, so this makes it harder to work with the app,  Micke

P: Save device edits directly to original image not a copyOpen for Voting

The ability to view and edit device images that was added in version 8.4 is fantastic. However, I would like have those edits reflected back to the device library instead of saving a copy.   Not sure about Android but iOS does allow you to revert edits on images in the photos library even if they were made by a separate application. This is great for non-destructive type edits.    Photoshop Express already does this through the settings. You can disable "Save a copy" and it will save directly to the original photo after a prompt. Really fantastic to be able to view the edits in the photos application and not have copies all over the place.   I was planning on use Photoshop Express for this type of editing but navigating the device photos is very painful in that app. However, it is nearly perfect in Lightroom. All around, I would prefer to use Lightroom anyway since I've used the classic version for years.   Adding this save settting to disable "Save a copy" to

Oops too many masks. Can I combine masks?

My objective is to change the color of just the background. Separating the product from the background is proving tough (AI didn't help in this case) So I masked it myself resulting in 5 masks and 20+ sub masks. Until (finally) taken as a whole the product is fully covered. Is there a way to "activate" every mask at once so I can work on just the background?  - Working in Lightroom CC 6.5 on a mac.

Does background sync work on iPad yet?

I lost my ipad pro 11 3rd gen overseas and need to replace it. One of the biggest issues is that it didnt do background sync.. in order to cloud sync Lightroom had to be open at the front and screen on and either plugged in or constantly tapping the screen.. cant even switch to youtube while syncing or it will stop.   Opposed to android where I can turn the screen off and put it ina bag and it will just sync everything. Which is what I need.   Now I am considering one of the galaxy S9 tablets, which is slightly more powerful than the A12x iPad I had by the looks, which was definitely easily enough for editing in Lightroom anyway. Though I saw Davinci Rsolve is on iPad, so that makes me consider the iPad Pro again..   The question is does background sync with screen off and not plugged in work on the latest version of iOS yet? Or is iOS still non-functional for location shooting and syncing?

P: Filters when importing photos from cameraOpen for Voting

Hi, It would be great to have at least start rating when importing photos from s camera. It is very difficult to have a quick and professional workflow without this option. (When taking thousands of photos, I rate them on the camera as this is really quick, and then transfer them to lightroom. But without filters I'm stuck with either delete the unwanted photos from the camera, which is super risky, or add a start rating on camera, import ALL the photos, and delete the unwanted from lightroom. This is such a slower process than what it could be...)

Lightroom Mobile Android won't let me delete newly imported photos.

In the Android version of LR I can't delete photos I just imported and are being uploaded.  I can hit the delete button but the photo stays, only after I force close Lightroom and reopen it I can delete whatever I want.  Has been annoying for more than a year.

1. Version: Lightroom web/cloud 2: Android, Chrome shared album 3. Share album, generate link. Download photo from Lightroom via google chrome on Samsung flip phone. Post to instagram using instagram app. 4. Expected result: correct colour   Something is going wrong with color profiling. There is no option to select what color profile to convert to when a link is given for people to download a shared Lightroom album. So it's automatic. The image posts on instagram as desaturated, it looks similar to when AdobeRGB is incorrectly interpreted as sRGB. This needs to be fixed ASAP, as obviously the cloud/web based Lightroom shouldn't be unusable with the worlds largest web photo sharing site/app. I've exported directly on my iPad Pro and also downloaded via chrome via Lightroom web and postin it to Instagram the colour is correct from both of those. Two attachments show the difference both screenshots from instagram

We are professionals. We need to able to show multiple image overlays: file type AND flag status/rating AND Photo Info, not just one at a time. We can handle the screen complexity and if it's too much, we can always go back to one or two (or none). BUT having the option of more than just one would be very helpful for speeding up image selection workflow - especially on iPad and Web where we have larger screens to work with.

As a photographer I would like to be able to adjust the placement of the watermark not only for the whole batch, but each photos of the batch when exporting images, so I can place it in the best suiting spot for each image of the exported batch.Currently, I have to create many small batches of a whole photo series and assume the best fitting placement of the watermark for each of the small batches.

Deleted Adobe LR CC cloud files reaapear

I have Adobe LR 6.5 CC  running on Mac OS13.4. ,My  cloud storage space limit has been reached ( 1TB) and have found no way to delete files wihtout them reappearing, so I am basically locked out of using LR. I do see this is a common issue posted in various places, but none of the suggested solutions works. I have  logged into my Adobe Web account and looked for deleted files, but   I see none. I have been trying to resolve this for 3 weeks, losing hope.

How to prevent images from shared collectios to be downloaded
