Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

This is really frustrating ...   I bought a 1 year subscription to Lightrrom through my Apple ID. (Auto Renews Jan. 13th 2021)   When I try to use lighroom it takes me to a start a 7-day free trial screen. I then click on the bottom "Restore Your Purchase" and I get a message that says    "Sorry, unable to restore your purchase" and the bottom it says "The Subscription has already been purchased from the Mac App Store with a different ID."   What is going on?

I have a 4K 1st generation model A1842 Apple Tv. Does that meet Lightroom's app minimal requirements for this model? When I open it up it just hangs.

Hi, I've been using lightroom CC on a mac for a few years. Now I'm thinking of switching to using an ipad to make the setup more couch-friendly.I haven't bought an ipad yet, wondering how much storage I need. Is it the case that the photos I upload via the iPad are only stored in the cloud, or will all the photos also be stored locally on the iPad? Can I choose which photos are stored locally on the iPad, and which photos are stored in the cloud? I don't need to have access to absolutely all the photos from the ipad all the time.

While organizing photos into albums, it's exhausting to constantly have to re-open (by hand or with the P shortcut) the sidebar because Lightroom decides (for me) that it's taking too much real estate on the screen. Please add a configuration setting to disable this disruptive behavior which may be a good default to unclutter the experience of most users, but becomes quite annoying when doing organization work.  Thanks.

hi there i'm editing iphone photos and the sky often has bits of purple in it. if i were using photoshop, i'd use selective color to remove it but i can't figure out how one would make this kind of adjustment in lightroom. the chromatic abrasion and defringe tools don't seem to touch it and the color mixer is too crude, no?  thanks for any help, image attached. 

I can't find the white balance eyedropper tool when I try to take the photo in the lightroom app for android. can you help me with this? thanks   [moved from bugs to discussions - Mod.]

Hi,I would really like to be able to disable notofications about action that appear on the center of the screen (see screen attached).It's really annoying when it covers crucial part of the photo when I do Undo/Redo many times to compare the effect.Such notifications could be displayed on the top.

Can someone pleeeeease help me!? I have been at this for more than 2 hours. I have edited on my MacBook and need to get them onto my iMac - I've done it a million and 1 times, however; it is NOT working for me!? I need a wizard, ASAP!! Thanks in advance!

Hi all-I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm just not doing it correctly. I use Lightroom Classic to import photos from a Leica Q2. I shoot in DNG+JPEG but I don't show both. In LrC I modify the image (for example, crop, convert to B&W, etc), and I get a nice pic. Lately I've started trying to integrate Lightroom so I can work with the files on mobile/ipad/web, etc. In LrC I created a sync collection and put my pics in there, and they do indeed sync with Lightroom, and looking at the photos in the Library view, it has all my LrC modifications. What I wasn't expecting is that, similar to LrC, if I "touch" the image, like viewing it in fullscreen, or going to Develop, it reverts back to the original DNG version, no crops, no edits, nothing. What's stressful is that because the LrC is synced, my edits in LrC are also wiped out.  Is there a way for Lightroom to preserve the LrC edits, or is it more a case of choose-one-or-the-other-but-not-both to edit the images? I

Installed LR on my new Digital Storm computer and when I open it, I get this error message:  "Lightroom cannot write to the following directories.  Until this problem is resolved, syncing from LR may not function correctly.  C:\Users.Previous computer had 2 names there and most was written to the second name.  I am wondering if this is a LR problem that can be corrected via something I don't know about?  Everything else is functioning properly.

Why do I get kicked off when I try to open my album? I have logged out then back in. I have deleted app then reinstalled it. 

 Hi! I've just updated the Lightroom mobile app to the latest version and suddenly lost the ability to take photos (via Lightroom) with ultra wide lens in DNG format!It was working fine for the past few years so what happened? I'm using iPhone 12mini so it's not the oldest phone yet.

Has anyone ever had this issue before? Probably within the last 6 months I've encountered this pop up happening when I try to export an album of images. In the past it's only been a small amount of images so I've just been going in and exporting each missing image individually and that was fine. But more recently it's been a large amount of images that would take me forever to find individually so I began to edit in Lightroom Classic but I love Lightroom Creative Cloud a lot better! I went back and exported the original gallery that gave me trouble and it exported fine this time. So I decided to try and use it to edit another gallery in there and this time there were even MORE images it "couldn't find." My cloud storage says it's synced and backed up and I have 1.2 TB free. I don't know what to do anymore.  

It would be very helpful to be able to include notes explaining the context of certain photos. Does Lightroom have a note field?

I have suddenly lost access to my artistic profile on LR despite the fact that it is still checked on the list of available profiles and would like it reinstated.   

Greetings. Over the holidays I have upgraded my Lightroom to your latest version - 6.1 on my MacOS. I use a Nikon D850 and it seems I can no longer download my photos from my camera to my Lightroom. I have tried everything from the obvious of double checking software updates; cable connections etc. It seems to connect to the camera but no downloading occurs. Just to be sure, I hooked up my old computer with an older version of Lightroom and it worked fine so I know there is a bug somewhere and wondering if you are aware of it and, hopefully fix it soon?regardsRJ Parks

A friend of mine and me recently made some cool photo's. We both have a subscription to Lightroom+Photoshop. He has allowed me to edit every photo, make new edit-versions of edits he has done previously etc. When I am on my phone I can, indeed, edit every photo, export them... the only thing I can't do is deleting and flagging them.... However; apparently I am not allowed to edit them on my Laptop, I get the notification that I am not allowed to edit the photos and only the owner of the album is allowed to edit the photo's. This is strange to me since he tells me that he has allowed me to do literally everything... does anyone know what to do?

Help!  I just migrated from Lightroom Classic to Lightroom, and I know I have lots of duplicates (they've accumulated over years of imports in various Adobe products).  I've been putting off cleaning them up, and I thought I'd get it done after I got started in the new (to me) platform.  Now, I'm finding out that cleaning up duplicates in the cloud is a nightmare.  Soooo... a few questions: - I'd like to use a product like Gemini to clean up my files and then synch only the remaining files.  Is that possible?- Or, is there a way to "start over" the synching after I clean up the originals?  - Or, is there a way to de-dup the cloud files?  - I don't see a way to view the cloud file structure.  Is there a way to do that?Basically, I'm looking for some way - other than manually reviewing over 100k photos - to de-dup in bulk. Note, I have years of data - edits, keywords, etc. - that I'd prefer not to lose as I de-dup. Any ideas?   TIA!! PS Like s

My Lightroom mobile is not compatible with my device . I cannot access the back camera. My device is Walton primo RX7 mini. Android 9 and  Dual 13+5 Megapixel.  (Thread title edited by Moderator)

Sometimes (not all the time), I try to delete photos from my library in the Lr Desktop application, but weeks later they will reappear. I've now wasted hours deleting large batches of photos, which I then have to re-delete one or two more times.  One reason suggested was that this was a memory-card sync issue. If you delete photos from your libary, and then import photos again from your camera's memory card, even if you select "don't import duplicates," you will re-import past photos beacuse Lightroom won't detect deleted photos as duplicates. I don't think this is the issue I'm encountering, though. I'm pretty disciplined with wiping my memory card. I suspect the reason has to do with a glitch in the sync between my desktop Lr library and my Adobe Cloud Lr library. Maybe I delete photos on my desktop app and when it finally syncs up online (sometimes weeks later since I work in low-internet areas), the photos get added back into my desktop Lr library from the cloud

Is there a way to include crop settings when creating a new version in Lightroom mobile? I would like to have multiple versions, each with different crops.

hi all, hoping for a small miracle 🤞A while back I had photos done of my daughter and my photographer uses light room to share the albums. I had downloaded the photos to a flash drive that has since gotten lost and I JUST found out that Adobe recently started auto deleting albums after like 30days. 💔 my photographer doesn't keep copies of her photos and now I have no photos of my daughters shoot.  What I am wondering is, is there ANY way to recover these photos?  Thanks for the help💕
