Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi I have two questions  one for mods and one for gen community    1. why can't I not get live support? Contact options are forum or the useless bot with three choices. Please confirm that I am stupid or mistaken.  2. Why can I not edit offline ? This is ridiculous tho have this message constantly in the way? Also the sliders do not work. Please confirm that I am stupid as this is ridiculous

This app is terrible on mobile...not worth the trouble not even worrh 20 dollars   

Alright I've spent 8 hours on this so far. I import DNG presets that contain profiles in them.I click each, select "make presets" and make sure every box is chcked.I then apply the preset to an unedited photo. Every setting is saved EXCEPT the profile! That is not saved in the preset and doesn't show up. This happens regardless of whether the DNG was made with an edited jpg or an edited raw. It also happens regardless of what kind of image I try to apply the preset to (raw, heic, jpg etc) Interestingly, if I "copy" the settings from the dng, then paste them onto an unedited photo, the profile is magically pasted over and everything works as it should. Pulling my hair out. Adobe support hasn't been able to provide answers so far!

I don't know how but I lost all my edited images along with my previous purchased preset AND the app looks very different!? Someone said log out and log back in and it should all be there but it's gone.

I am paying the $4.99 a month for premium Adobe Lightroom iPad. Actually, I’m being charged the $4.99 two seperate times per month. But when I try to use a premium feature, it says upgrade to premium to use this. I can’t find a customer support email. Any help?

I just downloaded Lightroom onto my MacBook. I previously used an iMac for editing on Lightroom. I noticed I no longer have the library/develop/etc. bar (red circle) in Lightroom. I'm also missing the window on the left that showed my edits (yellow circle). Did I download the wrong Lightroom? Can someone help me figure out how to get these back? Here's pictures of what I'm missing, what mine looks like, and the version I have. Thanks for any help!                

I'm trying to do some cleanup of 1000's of photos that I no longer need. Basically I copied the same lengthy set of timelapse photos to two seperate albums, one that is an "All" album, and the other that is "Curated". What I had been doing was deleting unwanted photos from the "Curated" album, but kept them in the "All" album in case I made need them again. However, now I've got 1000's of photos that I know I won't need and cannot find any easy way of removing them permanently from my library without also deleting the photos that are in my "Curated" album.  There does not appear to be any way to do this. That seems crazy for what is essentially a photo management/organization tool. The only possible way I can think of is to export all of the raw images from my Curated album, permanently delete the All album (which will also delete all the photos in the Curated album), and then reimport all the exported images back into the Curated album. But that's literally 10's of 1000's of

Hi -I'm trying to import photos into LR Mobile directly from my camera card connected via  USBC OTG card reader. My tab has no problem recognizing the SD card and I can easily copy the images to the Tab. Unfortunately, I can't get LR Mobile to "see" the OTG SD card. It does read my expansion SD Card, which is where I have it pointed for my local storage. This used to work on my Note 8 but I noticed that, after the last update it seemed to stop working. Since I didn't use my phone for that purpose very often I haven't bothered to trouble shoot it. But I bought the Tab to be a mobile photo studio using LRCC and hoping I don't have to go through the painful process of copying the images to a folder before importing them. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a way to downgrade my version of LRCC to see if was a change in LRCC?Thanks,Don

Hello,Recently I've started shooting RAW photos with my iPhone 13 Pro. Today I went into Lightroom Mobile for IOS to edit one of my new photos, and I noticed a serious quality distortion when importing the RAW photo (which has DNG on it in Lightroom's preview). Regular non-raw photos are perfectly fine. Any ideas what's going on?here is an example; left picture is exported from Lightroom (no edits, just imported then exported), and right is the original.

Hi,I want to export my picture from Adobe Lightroom Online with JPEG full-size after I added color vibrance + 30. However, the vibrance color effect is ignored and the picture without effect is exported. Strangely, when I export JPEG small-size the effect is in the picture ? How to fix that export issue ? Best, Michael

I have all my photos synced on my laptop and want to move them to my desktop.Is it possible to transfer and link up the synced folder instead of re-downloading all photos? I have 600+ GB of files and a monthly data cap on my internet so it would take me an incredible long time to download them again.

Lightroom can open a .ORF file, but cannot open the next .ORF photo taken a couple of seconds later and all the subsequent photos on the SD card. LR cannot open many of the earlier .ORF files on the SD card. LR shows an incorrect date and time on the files that it cannot import.LR Classic can open and modify all the photos including those that do not open in LR. Files that cannot be opened in LR can be saved in LR Classic but are still not able to be viewed or imported into LR.Perhaps something is corrupted in the files that Classic doesn't look at? 

Since installing the new Lightroom version 3 days ago I'm having multiple issues with the app. I am unable to select masks (sky, subject and the new background). I have unistalled the app and reinstalled it twice and having the same problems.      {Title edited by Moderator}

I am setting up a client's Lightroom CC, so I signed out of my account and logged into their account using their username and password on my computer.   Now Adobe keeps switching from account to account so that their email shows on my account and my name and email shows on their account. How do I separate the two accounts? It worked fine for the first few days.   Also, how do I get them to answer the phone? I've been on hold for 30 minutes.   Thank you.

I've used Photoshop for 25 years and recently got into Lightroom. I seem to have misunderstood and figured I could use my computer hardrive, or my dropbox cloud or my icloud or ... did Adobe just assume they could force me into their cloud? I am confused and frustrated. I do not want another cloud. I just thought Lightroom seemed really cool now that I have a camera that shoots in raw but now "my" adobe cloud in full. ugh. Go away adobe cloud go away!!!  

Buongiorno, sto avendo un problema con lightroom mobile (versione gratuita). Dopo aver importato e modificato diverse foto, aprendo l'app non riesco a visualizzarne neanche una e provando ad aprirle mi esce il seguente avviso: "Impossibile caricare versione di sviluppo".Come posso risolvere il problema?Grazie

When i like photos, this doesn't seen. I see, the most popular post have 0 like. Also i post something which is get 0 like because most probably it has bug. I didn't face this issue untill 2 week ago.

When I am using crop and mask tool, LR is getting hanged. I am using windows 11 now. Using windows 10 this problem is not there       {Title edited by Moderator}

Hi,  I have scanned a lot of old images and am importing them into Lightroom (not Classic) in batches but it identified the images as duplicates sometimes (they are not as I have looked through the files) there seems to be no way of diabling this function that I can see...can you help ? It is possible that the imges may have duplicate numbering. Can anyone help ?Thanks

I used up my 20GB of cloud storage on Lightroom, so I purchased the additional storage to increase it to 1TB. I've logged in/out of all my Adobe stuff, restarted my laptop, etc. But Lightroom is still showing that my 20GB is full. My creative cloud app shows me having 1TB, and that purchase is listed on my account. Why won't it work? Am I missing something/is Lightroom storage and Creative Cloud storage different? Does it sometimes take a while to all sync together? 

Hi there, new in the group ... and first question concerning grading 360° raws in LR.If I export a 360° raw photo file, shot with Insta360 sphere into LR and colour grade it in LR - the result after grading shows a seam in the sky and the pictures can't be used. (No such line/ seam in original raw file). Any ideas?

Hi all,   hope somebody can help here 🙂    Issue: When selecting an imagine (double click) from group view,  the edits are visable for a split second and then the original will be shown Edits range from profils, presets, tone, white balance cutting etc. Only applies to particular albums - not all photos are effected, even in the same album. Strange part: The images are correctly shown with the edits on Adobe Lightroom Web Version and iOS  (iPhone and iPad) Behaviour is very new   Solutions I tested: Logging in an out of Lightroom on the Laptop --> same issue Re-installed Adobe Lightroom 5.5 --> same issue  Installed Adobe Lightroom 6.0 again --> same issue   My setup: Macbook Pro 16, MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 Adobe Lightroom 6.0 Catalogue is 620 GB out 1TB and fully synchronized   Thanks and best regards, Matt
